E3 begins today. What is everyone looking forward to?

I'm hoping there's an announcement for the MGS followup. And I'm also interested to see if they reveal anything new about Blazblue.

I am stoked for MGS Rising and Left 4 Dead 2. Project Natal looked pretty cool, but the interaction with Milo looked planned out.

Too much stuff. This year's E3 is pretty good. This was just MS's day too. I imagine Sony's will be really good too with God of War 3, among other games coming soon. Nintendo's conference certainly better be something, because MS/Sony are just blowing them out of the water currently.

The dumbest news though? Talk of two, not one, TWO Modern Warfare 2 mapacks already. Fucking unbelievable, the thing isn't even out yet. DLC is the downfall of this era ... so basically, MW2 will be ~$80.

I know it'll still drop on PS3 but....

But now that PS3 lost it's only console exclusive franchise that matters.....what is to become of it?

I'm wondering about that multiplayer game MAG. I think is PS3 exclusive. It's supposed to have 100 people online at once. That's an epic amount.

I think with all the timed exclusive bs and MS/Sony unloading trucks of money on companies to get games on their systems first... dev's are just realizing that multiplatform is the way to go this generation. I dunno, it makes more sense to go that route too in my opinion and everything.

But yeah, at the same time it does seem like a hard blow to Sony. It'd be like ... Halo appearing on the PS3 or something (which I actually wouldn't totally doubt, with Bungie's contract up between MS. Yet they still want to churn out more Halo... maybe next generation though, we could see the franchise go multiplatform?)

True exclusives thesedays are just hard to come by. And not to sound like I'm against the PS3 or anything, but there really isn't much of an incentive for me to get one when I can get 90% of the same games on the 360. Which is probably what you and other PS3 owners can say too, about the 360.

Hey, the PS3 is getting Mass Effect 2 though!

I wasn't too excited about hearing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is coming to the US.....

But they're removing my least favorite character, adding 5 new ones, and implementing online play. AWESOMEEE!

Perhaps I phrased that wrong....I wasn't too excited about the US version at first because I already own the japanese version.

And perhaps I spoke too soon about PS3's demise....this certainly has A LOT of potential.....

I'd hope to learn a little more about Left 4 Dead 2... I mean, the first only came out November last year, and to be fair when it first came out it was hardly complete. Four pretty short campaigns and only two of those campaigns playable on versus mode. Then they updated with Survival and adding the other two maps to versus. Now L4D2 is being released only a YEAR after the first. As long as L4D continues receiving updates, I'm happy, but then it seems as silly as Valve releasing a Team Fortress 3; there would seriously be little point, and from what I've seen on Valve related forums people hate the idea of a second L4D, released only a year after the original game. Then again, Valve state novemberish time this year, that could mean April next year. xD

Crackdown 2 I'd love to see some videos of. That game was sick.

Sony's new motion controller looks a little... Odd... And the odder thing for me is the use of the Eyetoy as the tracking sensor. Could be good though, just a little limited in its possibilities.

I'm thinking quite the opposite. If it's as good as the demo suggests, this is far better then the wiimote. They might actually be able to make real games that don't make the motion sensor seem like a gimmick.

Oh...then it that case I am insanely jealous. My Wii can't play JPN games and even if I wanted, importing that game is expensive as hell.

But then maybe with the Motion+ attachment coming out for the Wii, which is obviously what Sony is trying to counteract here, the same will happen with the Wii.

My main issue with it is that it's an odd peripheral to come out for the PS3. While the Wii, with its software development kits and whatever are built for Wiimote use, Sony's will need modifying, and will require programmers to do further learning of the code which I heard was already awkward for most developers to get into the swing of.

But still, wait and see I 'spose.

I had my wii modded when Brawl came out in Japan.

....and i downloaded TvC....shhhh don't tell anyone . I'm definitely buying the US one though...that's fair, right?
