| While Sweet Home Alabama is not one of my favorites, I do like those three songs.
Pocketful of Sunshine needs to be destroyed. I'm sick of fucking hearing it. There are also a bunch of hip hop songs I hate that I hear everywhere, but I don't know their names. |

| Flo Bots -- "Handlebars"
It was overplayed on the radio last year. And it's such an annoying indie/DJ song. When Brandon and I went this music festival that had Metallica, Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, etc playing the programs had Q&As with a few members from each band. Most of the bands answered "Handlebars" for best new song.

| I hate to say it because I'm such a loyal fan, but Metallica. It seems that every fucking metal poser in existence (at least in Medford) is requesting NOTHING. BUT. METALLICA.
It's actually getting quite annoying. It gets old when there's a 4 hour block of nothing but them on the radio on my favorite station. Sure, it was cool at first, but come on, it's the same fucking rotation every night! |

| Almost everything that plays at work.
Do you know why? It's all on CDs that someone burned. In addition to the poor CD quality (skips are frequent), there's only about six songs per CD... and they don't change them at all during the day. Sometimes the same one's in for a week or more. But to pick one: Warrant - Cherry Pie. At least the other ones on the current CD are quieter and easier to tune out... To be fair, there's one on this CD that I like, but I can't hear the lyrics clearly enough to find out what song it is. And since it's a CD someone burned with a bunch of different songs, I can't go based on the other songs on it.(Last edited by Astrophel on 05-23-09 11:30 PM) |

| I am a fan of not listening to the radio. However, people manage to infiltrate their shit music into my ear recepticles.
1. No, T-Pain, I will not blame it on the a-ah-ah-ah-ah-alcohol. (on a side note: I used to enjoy that you were on a boat until the bros noticed. Now, you're kind of telling me too much.) 2. The disgusting seven headed neo-country beheamoth crawling out of Nashville. Look, I don't care that you're wearing a cowboy hat and injecting your "meaningful", cockslappingly basic lyrics with a tinge of Southern drawl, you are overproduced pop. You are all the same thing. You all sound the same. You all sing about the same shit. Johnny Cash, as our once and future king, I humbly ask you to rise once more and judge your inbred descendants. 3. Bands that escape universal hatred only because they fornicate in the shadows of bigger bands that attract more hate for less evil. Case in point? Metro Station. I despise Metro Station. However, most people don't care to hate them because they are obsessed with hatred for Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. While I'm certainly not a fan of either, they each actually have some inkling of talent. Nickelback and Good Charlotte, I'm watching you as well. 4. First and foremost, no matter what bands I hate, the majority of bands have some musical skill or reason they are popular, albeit I may disagree. Some people, however, dereft of talent or a work ethic to achieve skill, still manage to get CDs produced and sold. These are normally celebrities who's fame purchases them a "One Free Album" ticket. Paris Hilton, Hayden Panettiere, Lindsay Lohan, etc. cannot sing or play instruments. Stop making music. All this said, I still should reiterate I don't listen to the radio anymore. I find music I like, torrent it, and keep my earphones close at hand in case of danger. |

| I'm getting rather tired of the "Jizz in My Pants" song. It's a funny song, especially being one that Andy does, but my boyfriend has it as a ringtone set for whenever he receives text messages. And people text him A LOT!
Stitch and I were driving around aimlessly through San Francisco yesterday, listening to a CD I left with him a few years back. I totally forgot some of the songs were on it. Like Sean Paul's Get Busy. We were bumping that with the windows rolled down like a couple of douches. God, I remember when that song got played to hell in '03.  |
