Katie nodded, mapping out the roads she would take in her mind before directing her car out of the parking lot and accelerating toward their destination.

It took her a little longer than it would have usually. She never was one for speed limits. Never the less, she didn't trust herself to drive carelessly with weariness weighing her down as it was.

She said nothing for several moments. They were nearing Woodfield Ave.

"Thanks, by the way." She says. "I usually don't allow smoking in the car, but I might not have noticed, or cared enough to ask you to put it out." She nodded toward his empty hands, remembering that he tossed the cigarrette aside as he was getting into her car.

"Nothing against it for what it is...it's just...asthma bites sometimes." She says with a sigh. She wished she didn't get the shit end of the stick with what was hereditary throughout her family. She was far too lazy for all of the lifestyle tweaking she was forcing herself to make.

"Where do I go from Woodfield?"

"This is actually my street. Fourth house on the right." He put his jaw in his fist as he tried to relax, but found himself restless.

"When I see you and that kid at school tomorrow, I'm gonna keep naggin' you both 'til I find out more answers, alright?" he half-jokingly prodded with a faint smile. "I don't think that in all this confusion I got you guys' names."

She nodded as she pulled up in front of the house the was instructed toward.

"Katie. The other kid is John." She mumbled. "I warn you. You probably understand more about this than I do." She shrugged. "And if anyone is nagging John tomorrow, it'll be me. Anyone else will be answering to me." She says.

"Nothing personal. I just don't know what kind of night he's having, or if he'll even be well enough to go to school tomorrow." She was worried, but masking it well. Despite her actual words, Katie was relaxed and very nonchalant about the entire thing.

"But, I'll see you tomorrow." She says.

"If you're actually going to show up that is." She adds with a smirk.

(OOC: I don't want to move Evan and I to the next day until the showdown with you guys is done with. So, once you guys are ready, feel free to jump ahead. I'll roll with it.)

"Dreck is such a vulgar word to one of my status, I would prefer you not use it."

Her voice had a strange accent as she spoke, but remained cool and very proper. It was clear that Sync did not know who she was, though she would be surprised if anyone did... the Court of Earth was very remote. Raven spoke through Crystle and observed through her eyes, but did not reveal herself any more than that. She was still not quite sure what Sync was, but she clearly needed to be dealt with.

"I had a feeling that Sarah was aware, with her behavior patterns changing that wildly there was little chance that she was not. However, I did not think that the rift between a person and their Soul could be so great. You underestimate her, and thus do her wrong."

She looked at Cody once more. "Where are the Werewolf and the Empath?"

Cody stood speechless for a moment. He really didn't understand a whole lot that was going on, though he was fitting peices together, and figured Crystle was someone of rank, with how she held herself... Almost like Kaijin... 'Boy, let me handle this.'

With a sharp inhale of air, he came out, and smiled upon Crystle. "My dear Lady" Kaijin spoke, with the most formal attendence he could muster, while bowing. He could fight on par with those of Rank, but he was still below them regardless.

"While I do understand the situation that your in, as well as the use of discription, however, please note, there are plenty around whom are Empaths. My self incuded." He smiled softly. "However, they both must be left alone for now. When night falls, I shall seek out the Werewolf. Tomorrow, Cody shall deal with the Girl." He chuckled to himself.

"Tomorrow, I would suggest finding myself, for I'm sure I have plenty of explaining to do at the cafeteria."

"Of course, please forgive my ill-choice of words. Sometimes English does not translate well the subtle nuances of my language."

She paused for a moment, seeming to consider some inner matter.

"I suppose I should introduce myself. Lady Raven al'Shaldreth, Elven Loremistress of Alganna, Queen of Earth."

She bowed slightly, as she could not curtsy properly without a dress. For a brief moment, her ears seemed longer, more pointed; and her eyes almond-shaped with an upward tilt. By the time she straightened, the changes were gone though her eyes remained green.

"With John's hidden nature manifesting itself tonight it may not be safe to be out much longer. I wish you luck in finding him and I shall seek you in the cafeteria at lunchtime." She returned her gaze to Sync. "I suggest that you learn to work with Sarah instead of flaunting your own talents and behaving as a spoiled child. Come, let her regain her body so we may quit this place safely."

"Ah, Lady Raven, Elemental Queen of Earth. I suppose tiz my turn for introductions. Seems only proper."

He chuckled as he bowed once more. "I am Kaijin Zolerious Surohm. Lord in the ranks of Vampires, gifted by Ve, whom is brother to Odin himself. Quick to rise in strength, for only being 3500 years old." He chuckled softly. 3500, he was pretty much newborn.

"Lady al'Shaldreth, I wouldn't worry much of John. At most, he'll just be rolling around the forest for a while. It's the Underworld that I must hunt. There, I shall have little efforts finding, and settling his little inner Beast." He chuckled.

He glanced over to Sync, contemplating something to say to her, but remained quiet as he crossed his arms, and leaned against the car.

"For now, you may call me Raven. I am sorry if I have caused you to reveal too much, I do not know what you have shared with Cody."

You're a Queen?! I thought that you said you served the Queen Crystle's thought sounded in disbelief.

It was you that assumed Alganna was a person, not a place. It is the forest in which the court lies. I am Loremistress of my people, as well as the Earth Queen... though to an Elf, the former is the greater title.

Sync recognized the fair lady and glared at Raven. Sync knew all too well of her background. Yet she still didn't budge from her spot. "I don't care who you are," she said aloud. Sync crossed her arms.

Spoiled child... tch... I'm not spoiled here. Sarah is the ungrateful one here...

It's not like I wanted you to be here... Sarah sent. I wanted to be a normal girl with average grades... but you... Just what are you?

You'll see... I believe Lady Raven forgot about the history of my experiments.........and my banishing. Sync grit her teeth. "There's more than one reason I wear a visor..." She finally said. "But I'm quite certain your kind forgot about me ages ago. Although an elf never forgets." She walked up to Raven smirked and sent a flying round house kick straight towards Raven's side.

"Tinechor!"

A barrier shimmered around Raven as she dodged out of the way, eyes narrowed.

"You would dare? Yala'amin n'tess earuile a' neuma gothamin!"

Vines shot from the ground, moving quickly to ensnare Sync before she could attack again.

Sync jumped back and her visor fell off. Her eyes glared at Raven. She then blinked. Sync grit her teeth. She carried the same look she held when she was defending one of her little brothers from the noble boys. The green eyes gave a determined glare. "You don't remember me do you? I knew you've forgotten all about it...."

Sync.... Sarah was concerned. What are you doing?

Raven looked closer Sync. The name did not ring a bell, but the face was familiar... and that look. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

"Bronwyn?"

Bronwyn? What are you talking about? Crystle said, deeply puzzled by the shift in Raven's mood.

She's an exile, one we call 'Dark Elf'. I grew up with her.

Sync's eyes fell to the ground. "I'm not Bronwyn. Bronwyn wore the beautiful dresses and replicated your broken toys. She had pale skin and stayed on the good of things. She wasn't a scientist." Sync disappeared. Sarah gained control. She sighed and put a hand on her mouth. "......Wow."

Raven stood silently for a moment, sadness in her eyes. Then she stood up straight and looked again at Sarah.

"I take it she has fled? You have a very dangerous and very tormented Soul, but now I understand why you have been treated so. I am sorry."

Crystle's eyes faded back to gray as she resumed control. She looked weary and surprised at the same time.

"Fucking hell! You okay?"

She looked over at Cody... or was he still Kaijin?

"I'm sorry for any trouble."

Sync.... Sarah thought. Sarah looked at Crystle. "I'm fine..." she said with a smile and picked the visor up. "This is her's too." She looked at Kaijin. "Okay, I'm tired and my mother's probably worried sick. Not to mention... I have PT tomorrow." Sarah looked at her leg. Red from the barrier. She hit that barrier pretty hard if her leg was bruising up. Sarah sort of limped on it. She stretched. My house is not far from here. Sarah limped over to her cube and sighs. "Why am I the rejected one?" she whispered to herself. They all have better relationships with they're Souls.... but Sync treats me as if I'm a vessel into another world.... Sarah laughed a bit. I knew my mother wouldn't understand even if I told her.... but now that I'm not alone on this... I'm the odd one out. How ironic.

Kaijin smiled at Raven, and gave a nod of his head, before he looked at Sarah's direction. "Very well. I have something the boy wishes to tell you when we take off for your home."

He turned and slid into the car, while starting to buckle up, and warming up the engine.

Sarah sighed as she put the cube in her hands. It was heavy on her leg. She limped to the door and placed the cube in the back seat and looked at Kaijin. She looked at Crystle and smiled. "I'll see you in Biology kay?" Sarah faked a cheerful look and entered the car. Sync.... you injured me...

Tch... I can't help it if you have a weaker body than mine.

Sarah blinked. A long pause and she replied finally. "Weaker?" Sarah said as if she was offended unaware that she said it aloud. She blushed. "Sorry...."

"See you. Sorry about your leg... an icepack should take care of it."

Crystle turned and began walking down the road to her house, her thoughts swirling as she looked back on what just happened.

"We are having a little chat when we get home, got it?"

As you wish Raven replied.

(OOC: This Sunday I return to Job Corps. I have set up this RP so that if you really THINK about it, you can see how it runs, and how it should go. if your still unsure of how this story can run, Katana and True Flight have my cell number, so just have them call me after 4 pacific time, and I can fill in any other little details.

It's been fun guys!

This shall be my last post here, due to my schedule. I'll lay out as much information of the Underworld as I can muster.)

"I can feel your hesitation, and I know what the deal is. There are many souls out there who resent the fact that they were reincarnated. I for one, am one of them. You see, we do not get a choice in the matter as to what happens, and during the reincarnation process, a lot of our memories are wiped, to make room for when we are reborn. I just happened to be stuck in the back off the Kid's mind until he became Aware." He started the car, and followed her directions home.

"You see, in due time, you and your soul will eventually learn to work together. I am constantly fighting with the kid, even though it doesn't appear so, because he isn't ready to learn what I have to offer yet, since if he learns too soon, it could destroy him, and in turn, that could end me. If you and Sync do not learn to work together, neither of you will never become stronger.
That's right Sync, I'm talking direction to you. If you do not get over your superiority complex, you WILL remain weak. You ARE Sarah, for as much as you may detest that idea. That's the whole point of being reincarnated, not only to give a soul a break from the Underworld, but to give you a chance to break your limits. Failure means wasting your own time."

He let Sarah get out before he left, letting her think upon what he's said. It was time for Cody to sleep, and to get back to the Underworld. (OOC: sorry, just jumping ahead a bit)

After crashing in his own bed, sleep came to him quickly, and his being aware was at it's end. In the Underworld, only 1 out of every 3 people consciously remember what happens. Some think of it as controlling their dreams, others know what's going on, but in Cody's case, he has no memory of what happens, and needs to meditate to catch glimpses.

So there he stood, in his full glory of his black coat, and red armor pieces. Kaijin stood atop a hill that overlooked the entire city. The Underworld looked exactly like the human realm, but with a few differences. Cars were not used. They existed, but noone used them. They went back to Horses, and Carriages.
This was the realm of spellcraft, and where swords ruled the law, just under the command of the King and Queen of each kingdom. Granted, there were places in the underworld that didn't exist in the Human Realm, like full out Dungeons and Dragons style towns, but they were placed off in thick forests that human's don't go, or even care to bother to look at. With Fisherman in the streets, normal vendors, and the like, people traded their gold coins (paper money doesn't exist in this realm) for the products they needed. Of course we had running power, and even video games. The internet was also a widespread use.
Kaijin was well known for creating the second most powerful defensive unit in the Underworld, a barrier that you could see the binary swimming through it, of course, it was the most Superior technical setup, second only to a spell form version.
Atop that hill, he crossed his arms, as he smiled ruefully. He intended to watch what happened here, and it should be interesting, since the Underworld runs 6 hours faster then the Human Realm.
For every 1 hour in human time, 6 passes here...
Kaijin couldn't help but grin. Plenty of time for some interesting chaos to happen. It should be fun.

Sarah walked out of the car and nodded at all the comments Kaijin gave. Sarah sighed going into her house holding the cube in her hand.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? YOU MISSED DINNER!"

"Mother I was just..."

"I DON'T CARE! You're grades are going to slip. It's your own fault for causing this havock!!"

"But Mother...."

"You've got your own ROTC scholarship on the line. I'm not going to take it if you fail out of college if you---"

"CHERYL!" Sarah was gone. "Mind you're own business and I'll mind mine... We had made that agreement with each other right?" Sync looked at her.

"You're not my child... YOU'RE POSSESSED. GIVE ME BACK MY DAUGHTER."

"Possessed?" Sync smirked and walked up to Sarah's mother then pushed her into the couch. "How about you call it...." The smirk grew wider. "Trying to get out of your sphere of influence... I'll tell you this. I don't trust you and I don't care what you think of me. I've got my own goals and you're a nothing... a nobody in them. I'm not you're little support beam. So get the fact that I'm going to be you're little escape when I get out of college out of your head." She walked away.

Sarah's mother blinked as she put her hand on the remote.

Sarah was given her control then looked around in her room. "You didn't have to be so heartless."

Yes I did... it's the only way to get her off my case.

Sarah put the cube aside in the room. "Tell me... what happened?"

I don't want to talk about it...

"Come on you're me..."

Fine... but you wouldn't understand. I am a dark elf. I wasn't always a dark elf... My life was devoted to alchemy and research. Well... Bronwyn was.

"Bronwyn?"

Bronwyn Eel-eh-fawn-gay.....

Sarah began writing down what she was hearing. "Spell it."

B-R-O-W-Y-N I-L-E apostrophe F-A-N-G-E... a pause. She killed herself taking a boat ride to the middle of an ocean. There she jumped in the ocean and committed an act of suicide. I was rescued by a race of people who lived in that ocean and had technology so advanced beyond my dreams.

"So your name is originally Bronwyn Ile'fange. What's so bad about that? Why'd you change your name."

I changed it to Sync because of my secret research project my grandfather and I worked on. I finally gained control of my project while I was down in the ocean before I was forced to leave....

"What happened..."

Virus... I never really understood why but I was forced to leave and here I am. Reincarnated into you. Why are you prying Dreck?

"I'm sorry..."

If you want to know the truth maybe you should ask Raven. I don't want to go over my past. The images are just too gruesome for you.

"No... you're the cause of my night mares. Ripping my own grandfather's limbs off and killing him. Unable to control what I do next. Next I kill my police officer of a cousin. You're the cause for this tell me how this is related."

............

"TELL ME!"

My research project was to combine science, magick, and alchemy. We wanted to control all aspects of the world at the time. Or so Father thought.

"Father?"

Bronwyn's Grandfather was my father. He created me. The project was me. He wanted to synchronize all of Bronwyn's skills in each area and put them all together to bring life to dead plants... turn water into wine...

".... Like Jesus?"

What ever you want to call it. He wanted me to be a god and surpass even the most powerful of elves. However... His thoughts of bringing life to the dead brought disaster to him. Bronwyn and I fought. Bronwyn didn't want this. For being her first research assignment in her family... She didn't want to feel my presence. Over and over she rejected me. Finally one day a test reviving a simple dead wilted flower went wrong. She was too weak to fight me off, finally I took over and I couldn't control myself. Death felt so.... so.... good. So I brought the flower to life then burned it. I wanted to know what a real life felt like. How it felt to take a real elven life. So Father was my next target. Boy... It felt great. Grabbing both his arms and ripping them off. His last words were. 'My granddaughter... I'm sorry.'

Sarah blinked. "What?"

Bronwyn was life. I was pushed back. Bronwyn took over and tried to revive her grandfather and heal his wounds. How ever... she opened a gate sending Father to a realm where his soul will never see the light of day. The gate wouldn't close. No matter how hard she tried. All of the Ile'fange family was sent into that gate except for Bronwyn. I kept her alive. After all it was a Death Gate, something that belongs to a dark elf....

"I get it. You're her dark side."

Now you're getting the picture Dreck. Bronwyn was given a trial. Of course she plead guilty and was ready to take any punishment. However there was an argument that came out of a result. Bronwyn knew she was at fault for trying to revive Father, but his death and the other's wasn't her fault. It was mine. For weeks during her trial, she was spat upon and people threw stones at her. Even her childhood friend... She knows who she is..

".... You're not going to..."

Not now, I'm just going to let it sink in on the Queen. She knows our time against each other is coming soon. So I'm leaving it at that. Bronwyn was sentenced to death. I of course wanted to live to see the world around me. So as my executioner, Bronwyn's lover, was about to send the glaive down my neck I broke out of my binding and broke his neck. I wanted to see his blood so I took the glaive and decapitated him. It was too much. I came after the judge and stabbed him in the heart. The rest of the trial agreed, I was too dangerous to "kill" so they banished me. Never to return again. Now you know my story... Too much for you to handle?

Sarah shook her head. "Now I can make sense out of the nightmares I've had. Sync... Why are you in me. Someone who hates death more than anybody else?"

Dreck... I don't even know why... Just like Kaijin said we don't know. But you're just like Bronwyn. She was full of life and happy even when she was injured. Don't give me that. Go to bed Dreck."

Sarah sighed and put her pajamas on. Panda bears and bamboo forests. She fell asleep.

Tan skin and a visor. She wore a jacket over her tunic and a loose pair of cloth pants that grabbed at the ankles. Her feet looked as if she wore black boots underneath the pants. Her hands were just about as black. Around her neck she wore the family crest still. It was a simple square split in half colored black and white on both haves. Her hair was green and short as if it were cut with a knife. She walked the streets and sighed. What trouble was she going to cause today? She sighed as she rubbed her shoulder and twisted her arm. Sync walked by looking around for something to do. Sync sighed and jumped atop a roof. She sat there and fought her urges just as much as she did when she was in the ocean. Past thoughts came to mind.

"What's wrong Guin!"

"There's a virus in the main computer. The robots are overreacting! We have to shut the city down."

"But if you shut the city down then... then..."

"My beloved Sync... You'll understand... That you are not of our people. You need to leave... Don't die my beloved Sync."

"Ha... Don't die. Look at where I am. ha."
