Outside of Dome City, the oasis of complete order across the barren chaos, the hum of engines tore across dirt and freshly planted grass. These vehicles of war, aged by enemy's wrath, tore down the path to the great city.
Inside an armored buggy amid the middle of this caravan, three people sat in silence. The driver of the craft was a Palestinian woman with the eyes of a honed killer. Beside her was a young man clothed in all black, one eye obscured by his long, black hair. In the rear of the car rested a man in a white cloak. The hood was pulled down over his head, and a white scarf covered his mouth. Around this buggy were several other vehicles carrying officers, but the sight of the officers was obscured by the walls of the crafts. The buggy and its caravan entered the great gates of Dome City and came to a halt. All but the buggy lurched forward towards the barracks, leaving the three to park their buggy at the gates and exit the craft. The man in the white cloak exposed his face to the artificial sun, gazing upon the city with curiosity. Seifer pulled down the white scarf and turned to his close vassals Shana and Tobias. "It's been a very long time since my eyes have seen this city. Long enough to feel as though I stand in a different city altogether." |

"You sonuvabitch."
She was already waiting anxiously from the lobby of the city's main building. The moment the sound of the vehicles crossed her ears, Holly was racing toward the source and thrusting herself into Seifer's path. Though she was smirking as she spoke to him, her blue eyes sparkled with delight. Public affection still wasn't something Holly was good at, and her husband's return was no surprise. She was able to maintain as much of her composure as she wanted. |

Shana Kyla steps out of the buggy. She surveys the surrounding area and checks her weapons. Desert Eagle in a shoulder holster, TAR-21 on her back, throwing knife in her boot, as well as several other less visible weapons. She moves beside Seifer, eyes constantly wandering.

Holly glanced over at Tobias and flashed him a grin. Then, her eyes surveyed the woman, armed to the teeth, standing beside Seifer. After eyeing her curiously for a moment or two, wondering how to approach her, Holly just tilted her head to the side and smiled.
"Holly." She says, holding her pale hand out to Shana, still smiling. Her voice was warm, but she was to the point. |

Shana nodded in salute to Holly, not changing her stance.
"Major Kyla, ma'am. I've been moved from Spec Ops to provide my services and expertise to your husband." |

BANG Tysha looked at her target. BANG.... BANG.... Tysha walked up to her target. A sheet of paper with a silhouette on it. She kept the same blank stare. She nodded and walked away. Zeroed...
Tysha walked back to her stead. She looked around the range. There was no one standing there but her. Tysha's eyes thinned as the hair on the back of her neck stood on end. "Who's there...." She said. Tysha turned around and a dark figure stood there. In a split second he ran up and pushed her through the sand on the range. "You're dreaming... wake up." Tysha's eyes opened wide. She rubbed her head and walked around the town. The same dream... she thought as she went to look for her leader. She walked up to Holly and then looked forward. Her thoughts stayed fixed on helping this group. She had the body of a 19 year old supple and slender. However she never remembered her age. 23 was it? or maybe 24. Tysha's red hair looked like fire as the small breeze blew through it. She looked at the group with her green emerald eyes as she carried her weapon. A sniper rifle. Trained in the art of hiding and looking for targets, Tysha became very useful to Seifer and she was glad he found her. Tysha kept silent as she thought about her low rank compared to Kyla. She wore camouflaging clothes to hide her from everything, obviously she had just came back from a mission or something. Something was more like it though. |

Seifer approached his wife and silenced her conversation with a kiss. His hand rested upon her side, pulling her close to him. They stood locked in this silent embrace for what seemed like a lifetime. When he moved his hand and let her form fall from his fingers, he smiled.
"I've missed you." His warm smile continued as he stepped back until he saw men in business suits arguing across the streets. His face slightly contorted with dissatisfaction. "So, what's the situation with the case? Anyone care to inform me?" |

Holly was taken aback by the action. Usually, they saved the antics for when they were away from a crowd. However, Seifer wasn't usually gone as long as he had been this time, so, Holly forgave him for the public display of affection, this time.
But still, she couldn't help but blush, as she looked up at him, a grin playing at the corners of her lips. "The date is still being speculated." Holly announced, turning her attention to the arguing pair as well. "Most wanted the trial to be held yesterday." She says with a sigh, attempting to emphasize the impatience of those who want the trial over with. "Others are still trying to draw this out as long as possible." She shrugged. "I suppose Jack's lawyers are really just trying to postpone their loss." She added with a smirk. Brad... she thought, her mind trailing off a little. She often wondered how this case would affect him. Though he was once her captor...Holly, now more than ever, understood the position he was in, and will forever be grateful for the protection he showered her with despite her unwillingness to be there. |

Tysha looked at Seifer. Emotionless she started out there and sat her sniper rifle down. She sighed and waited around. Tysha didn't like this though. Her eyes showed no emotion and she held no body language. Tysha kept the same glare from when she first woke up to see faces after she was taken in by this group of people. Tysha couldn't help but realize that she wanted to start a new revolution just like the rest of the people. How ever... her revolution would be different. Something was keeping her from tapping into what it would be...
She kept herself from asking why these people brought her into their drama. Tysha had nothing to do with it or she couldn't remember what she had to do with this group other than stay by Holly's side. All her orders were to watch Holly from a far, when Holly thought that Holly was alone. Protector, Sniper, these words seemed familiar to her and they tickled their way through Tysha's brain like a feather to the touch of skin. Tysha held the same bland look knowing that someone would read her questions someday. |

(OOC: Lesbian action on the horizon? ~_^ I love you True. XD)
Deep inside Dome City's main building, the furious clicking of heels echoed throughout the halls. For a moment, the sound ceased, only to be replaced by a soft rustling. "Aha." She whispered triumphantly, fishing out her badge. Gingerly she held it out for the sentry to see. He smiled and waved her on through. With a flick of the wrist, she sent her chestnut brown curls behind her, allowing it to rest about her shoulders, as she passed through the gate. "I wish you as much luck as I can without jinxing the outcome of this trial." The sentry added as she passed by. "Thanks." She grumbled, but winked all the same, her heels clicking against the floor once again. After a few more moments of walking, she found herself standing before the final barrier between her and her client. Just as the guard was about to let her through, she placed a finger gently in the air, signaling for him to wait a moment. She dropped to her knees and allowed her briefcase to hit the floor with a soft thud. It was a habit of her's that couldn't be shaken even after lawschool. She always double checked herself up until the last possible moment. After sifting through the paperwork, she found what she needed to start and snaped the briefcase shut. Finally, she rose to her feet, reaching into her purse as she did so, and fished out a pair of thinly framed glasses. She placed them onto her soft honey brown eyes, smoothed out her black skirt and white blouce, and picked up her briefcase. One final time, she displayed her badge for everyone to see and the door was opened for her. "Evening, Mr. Dreddin." Natalie muses, flashing him her most charming grin yet. |

Jack stood as Natalie entered the room. "Good evening," he said. "Any luck on finding Brad yet?"
Jack's hands were cuffed, but other than that, his prison was far more like a hotel than a jail. Sure, the walls were very plain, and far too white, but other than that, he lived in a nice place. He could watch TV, he could spend time outside, and he could read whatever books he requested. In other words, every small favor a man could ask, except for the freedom to act. He was once a powerful man, a man who had nearly brought the Suvoj and the Marinae to their knees. Now he had nothing. Now the greatest thing he could ask for was the freedom to walk down a street. The trial wasn't going well. There were actually only two witnesses of Jack's interactions with Josiah, and one of them only for a fleeting minute. Right now, there was only one man who could save the day, and that was Brad. Of course, Brad had seen fit to disappear only months after the Josiah incident. No one knew what happened, Brad had only left a note saying that he was okay, and that it was his choice to leave. "Alright, what have we got here? Do we have enoguh to keep me out of jail?" |

"Nothing can keep you out of jail, Jack. Not after what you did."
Alden entered the cell, standing behind Natalie. His face was worn, hair greying at the temples. "I will do everything in my power to make sure that you stay here for the rest of your life." Shana let out a soft cough to get Seifer's attention. "Commander Ehnzo? I believe we have some business to attend to?" |

ooc: I'm assuming that the court runs like an American court. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
ic: Jack looked up. "Ah, Alden. Pleasant as always. Now, not that I'm displeased to see you, but I'm afraid that I'm in the middle of a private discussion." He waved at Alden, a smile on his face. "Goodbye, and I'll see you at the trial, I'm sure." It was illegal for Alden to even be there, a convict and his attonrey were allowed fully private conversations. To intrude was illegal, and if Alden stayed anyway, this whole thing could be declared a mistrial. |

Natalie turned to see Alden standing behind her, only to twist sharply back in Jack's direction. She eyed him angrily for even opening his mouth in the first place.
She then turned back to face Alden, smiling. Truth was, she and Alden got along well. This was the exhilirating part of her job. It was a tricky, and often daunting task, but exhilirating all the same. "Mr. Alden, you just threatened my client. You entered a room in which you are not permitted to be in. You listened to a portion of our conversation, which is protected by law, to remain private. If you stay any longer, I'm afraid my list of things to call to the judge's attention will grow." She then glanced back at Jack, shooting him a warning stare, commanding him not to utter another sound. (Last edited by Katana on 01-21-09 12:40 AM) |

"It was not a threat, merely a statement of intentions. But there is no need to be so aggressive. Like all IFDF proceedings of this level of importance, a witness is required. I have come to fill that role."

"Ah, yes Shana. You are right. Holly, I have a conference with Alden in a few moments, and he should be waiting for me. It shouldn't be longer than an hour or two, and then we'll finally be able to catch up."
He flashed a devilish grin before embracing her once again. It was brief, however, for the presence of Tobias and Shana were constant, and compelled him to act. He bade her farewell and the three began their march towards the IFDF capital building. |

Shana followed Seifer, providing security clearances at the appropriate checkpoints, and headed to Jack's cell.
Alden checked his watch, prompted by a short beep. "No matter, we'll be having a visitor in just a moment." |

"Even if a witness were required, Mr. Alden, you would not be elected to fill such a position. The role of witness is to be objective, and you dear sir, have broken the realm of objectivity already by 'stating your intentions.'"
She then reached behind her and gestured to the small silver box resting on the table before Jack. She walked over to it and gingerly placed her hand on the table beside it. "Not a word spoken between Jack and I can go disproven." She paused, her gaze falling upon the revolving track in the silver tape recorder. She wasn't required to mention any of this, and decided that the cameras were irrelevant. "And for the record, we will not be having any more visitors. This is court sanctioned time between my client and myself only. Since I was not notified of a four-way meeting in advance, then I'm afraid that I can not comply." _______________________________________________________________ Holly sighed as Seifer began to walk away. "Will I see you later or are you leaving right away again?" She called after him, hoping he was still within enough distance to hear her. |

Tysha looked at Holly and stood beside her. She sighed as she watched Seifer leave. It seemed like it was almost an reoccurring experience to her. Her leadership would come to her then leave. Come to her then leave. Come to her then leave. Tysha blinked. "What do I need to do now?"

Holly looked over at Tysha, returning the incredulous blink. She opened her mouth to reply, but found no words to utter before her giggle escaped her lips.
"I guess you could start with whatever you have schedueled for yourself to do today..." She uttered between spurts of giggles. Then, gazing after Seifer's empty trail, she paused, replacing the giggles with a sigh. "Or we could figure something else out to do...I could use the company." She says, gloom apparent in her tone. |
