Aside from failure (which I'm sure is a fear for everyone), I'm a little claustrophobic. I don't feel like the walls are closing in on me or anything like that, but if I'm in a very close quartered space (like I'm in a booth in a restaurant and I'm stuck in a corner, jammed against the table and with a person blocking my exit) I can freak out pretty easily.
It seems to happen more when I'm in a car and I can't move my legs or I feel strapped in and can't move. I guess I just need to feel like if something happened I can escape easily. Is there anything you're looking forward to seeing or doing in the near future? |

Assuming near future means before summer vacay's end... nothing spectacular, aside from waiting for a friend of mine to get back into town so we can hang, going up to the cabin a few more times to let loose, avoiding drugs(pretty easy now, but holy shit, I did speed once T-T), and getting back into/ staying in shape(I'm getting soft xD).
Biggest mistake you've ever made in your life that you're comfortable posting. |

There isn't much in my life I look back on as a mistake since a lot of the bad things helped me to find the good stuff. I suppose if I hadn't slacked off in my last semester of high school, I'd have graduated from a university by now.
But if I hadn't gotten that D in English, graduated high school, and ended up at the city college I did, I wouldn't have had many of the same experiences. I wouldn't have worked in Rocky Horror, met my boyfriend (going on 5 years next April), and I wouldn't have discovered this board. Now for something I might actually call a big mistake, it would probably be not spending more time soaking up what I could from my grandfather. He led an AMAZING life, but he passed away when I was 11, before I learned to sit down, shut up and listen to his stories of being a freedom fighter and engineer. Other than your computer, desk, or chair, what are 5 things that are close to you right now? |

Bag of Jolly Ranchers, a really old check, expired debit cards, random hat, my bed?
TV or movies? (I realize most don't care for watching things directly on the TV thesedays, but just in comparison to TV shows vs movies nowadays, which is better?) (Last edited by Xeu on 07-11-08 06:44 PM) |

Probably TV shows, right now. A good movie probably comes out like, once a month, where a good TV shows will have an episode a week, which is a lot more enjoyable.
What's your favorite type of noodles? (Last edited by Vulkar on 07-11-08 07:10 PM) |

Now that's an interesting question. I go for fettucini personally, but any noodles are good when they're really soft. Not like so-soft-it-practically-Jell-O, but what's considered "al dente" is usually too hard for me.
If you could learn to play any song perfectly, what song would it be and on what instrument would you play? |

Mei ( 冥 ) - Amuro vs Killer
It's mostly played on a synthesizer. I'd like to be able to play that. Car, Plane, Boat, or Train? (Last edited by BennyMD4123 on 07-13-08 02:32 AM) |

I'm obsessed with riding around on trains when it comes to getting anywhere. I'd LOVE to sail around the world though, and go on a real ocean voyage. After all that, I love road tripping places and stopping in random towns and meeting interesting people.
I guess I could do with all of them, but planes are my least favorite. Are you allergic to anything? |

Cottonwood, cat dander, and a bunch of other stuff I can't figure out yet. Generally I can soldier through most of my allergy attacks.
What time do you normally go to bed/fall asleep? (xD LATE) |

Since I'm not in school right now (will be next month), I just sort of fall asleep whenever I get tired.
Since it's 2:38 a.m. right now, obviously I'm just not in an early-to-be-early-to-rise mood right now, but there are those nights where I'm knocked out at 10 p.m. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? |

...Iron Man? Wow, I seriously can't remember, but maybe that really was it?
If you could somehow only have one single hobby, what would it be? |

I already have pretty much only one hobby, so I'll go with writing.
How much would you need to be paid to go streaking in a big thanksgiving parade? |

Right now, neverevereverever under any circumstances. In three years? 10 dongs.
Have you ever gotten into a disagreement wit a neighbor, and now you both hate each other because there's nothing better to do? |

Well, my next door neighbor happens to love snooping on my family and filing complaints with the city against various people in the neighborhood. She seems to always have a laundry list of things to bitch about me with, yet she's something of a hypocrite herself.
Anyway, I haven't actually had a confrontation with her and my parents are still somewhat trying to remain on her good side, but yeah, I guess I dislike her one way or the other. What are you doing to keep cool during the summer? |

Staying indoors as much as possible... wearing fewer articles of clothing. And considering it's been 108+ with 30% humidity most of the time... I just want to curl up and die.
Because my husband and I are pretty much broke, we both find that work is tons more important than school right now (even though that's not preventing me from going to school). Which do you think is more important: Getting a better education to make good money in the future? Or making decent money right now and going to school later? Why? |

Definitely going to school right away and getting the good job later. My answer would have been different if I was at all interested in trades work, which I was decent at, but since I'm thinking social worker I need the schooling first. I also find that if you really get into working and tart putting off school, you're gonna get stuck at that job way longer then you want to be.

spoiled girls who can't get away from their moms and dads...
What was your first something you remember most? Why? |

I don't remember a lot of my childhood, but one thing I remember all the time, because my mother has to point it out every, single, time we have company over for dinner: When was a toddler, I would always fall asleep early, and then wake up early, usually around 6. So every day, I'd fall asleep in my dinner, usually coating myself in spaghetti or whatever they made. Cute? yes. Funny? yes. Embarrassing? yes.

My fiancée and I spend about $200-$350 every other month on food. The reason it is so high is that we have to get ready to eat or microwavable food, since we both work and eat most meals at work and there is only a fridge/freezer and microwave. Our kitchen is all but nonexistent in terms of space, so we really don't cook. We got about 120 packets of ramen for free, but you can't live on just ramen. We have frozen meals, mac&cheese, soups, and some meal-in-a-box things, but those sorts of things get expensive. If we got fresh foods and ingredients for meals, it would go down to $175-$250 every other month.
Name at least one thing you would give your life for. (Not figuratively, but literally die for.) I'll even answer my own question! I would die for the betterment of the world, be it making society nicer for all or fixing the environment on a global scale. I would also die to protect my fiancée, family, and/or close friends (in other words, I'd die to protect my precious people/the ones I love). The last thing I would die for is for my God. I'm a semi-religious guy, so if I hear His voice say something like "You must give your life up" I'll do it. But obviously that hasn't happened yet. |

Well your answer is coming from a devoted army reservist. I would die for all of you. Why? Because I want to protect your right of putting down our nation. If you look at some history in other countries people who had put down their country before wound up dead. So I want to keep protecting that right for you all.
Did you see yourself where you are at now? |
