| Sorry, I was AFK for most of the last week, and since this wasn't started beforehand, I might as well get what's left of that ball rolling.
Sorry, International members, this is a rather American-biased question. But you can still tell us what you did on July 4. 
I pretty much spent the whole day at an anime convention in L.A. which had some really trippy moments. Since I took the train to the convention center, and most people had the day off, it was mostly just people heading to the same place as I. The car I was in was filled with girls mostly dressed in the Gothic Lolita style. The train ride back was even crazier. Since the Blue Line goes through South Central and Compton, as well as many other lower-rent housing areas, going back at night on the 4th of July was like passing through a warzone. SO MANY people were firing off illegal fireworks and lighting up the sky around the train. That night, pretty much just hung out at a party with Brandon's band where, yes, we too blew shit up and drank and barbecued.

| I shot fireworks and literally inhaled so much sulfar, I have a feeling I will have dragon's breath for the next month or so. Note to everyone, dont handle 10 sparklers in your hand with 10 other people doing the same thing around you in one circle, that was one DUMB thing all of us did.
Plus I dranked some Hose Quervo, not a good man to be drinking with, but meh, he was ok. Also, I tried absentse (sp?) for the first time. Saw vapor trails, pretty colors, and a green dot that would not leave me alone. Fun times. |

Funny, I haven't been in a great mood myself lately. Least in person with friends. 
I did nothing on the 4th. Parents went down to some family lake and I just didn't really want to go. One of my friends was hanging out with his girl and others just weren't doing anything. We planned on going to Worlds of Fun the next day (Saturday), but thanks to my ultimate insomnia I don't think I fell asleep until 8-9 AM, they wanted to leave between 11-12 so I just thought there'd be no way I could be up and running around all day on 2-3 hours of sleep.
Yeah.

| I had a rather uneventful 4th of July. I spent the afternoon sitting around with my neighbors and then from 9 till midnight lighting off small fireworks with one of my friends. I sat on my roof a little and watched at about 8 though, and that was fun as it always is. I ended up going to sleep at my normal time though. | |||
