| Beating this game in under 5 hours, no Ration / Recovery items, no kills, and no Alerts is almost impossible.
Right now I am stuck at the DAMN END of Act two, and somehow, It keeps saying I killed 4 people. I have no clue how, but its there. Its really starting to aggravate me, and I am using V Rings at a chase scene to get rid of the PMC from getting run over. *shrugs* Im going to keep on keeping on though, I will get the Big Boss title, even if it is nearly impossible. Getting the Stealth Camo was easy, and I just bought the Bandanna, and thank god for the Solor Gun, it makes hunting for items easier, and makes the gameplay alot more fun. | So...I have to have my receipt mailed to me, which could take up to 30 days. Then I can send my PS3 out to get fixed....then I can play the game.
So it could be a month before I contribute to the discussion. Mehhh. =( |

| Anyone play MGO? I personally think its a unique online experience. Not as open as Call of Duty 4, but still fun none the less.
Alot of users, myself included, think MGO is like Counterstrike mixed with a 3rd person view. Its also not linked with the PSN, which is a bummer, you have to get 2 accounts in order to play, which is what me and like 8,000 other people were fussing about in the beta. Plus, the DLC for it isnt with the PSN...grr Konami! But its still pretty fun, I like the KB / Mouse support, Ive been playing it for awhile now. so far I have SMG +1 Sniper +1 Psychic +1 *Unknown* Ill take in game pics of it the next time I play it. My guy looks ok I guess. Oh yeah, and I figured out how I was killing people. Technicially, I need a chaff grenade in a part that I am not spoiling. | Okay....so listen to my genius plan. (or terrible plan depending how you looks at it)
So I'm going to buy a ps3 with my credit card. Play the game on that until my old ps3 gets fixed. Transfer the data, then return the ps3 and get my money back. I'm setting an alarm on my phone for the last day I can return it, just in case my new ps3 isn't here by then. Anyone see any flaws in my logic? |

Bought. Beat. Love. I can no longer play any game that involves sneaking, guns, or anything at all actually. Several dozen genres were ruined because they'll never be as good as this. My record was far more shooteresque than you Nagis. I went apeshit with killing people. It was amazing, and I need to replay in full stealth mode. Bah, can't find my record. Also, I think my system, when it updated to play MGO, deleted my data, I'm about to choke a bitch. P.S. you beat it 3 hours before I did. But I had work. So, mynah! Got together with some buds again and played a lot. Do note what I've played! So don't spoil me any further if you wanna discuss, heh ... Spoiler:
Saw a good chunk of Act III, though I missed the Raiden stuff. I came in when Snake was in some city meeting up with Meryl, then had to follow someone to Big Mama ... mother of God, emotions went crazy throughout all the upcomming scenes and stuff from here. As badass of a villian I've always thought Liquid was, fuck him to hell ... jeezus. I saw the whole boat scene and everything, which was intense, almost hard to watch with friends around ... lol. We played a good bit of Act IV ... OH MY GOD, I wanted to cry, being a fan of the original when it was brand new ever since. My friends and I were just blown away about going back to Shadow Moses, it was insanely powerful. We beat Crying Wolf and stopped from there. My friends and I decided, holy shit, it's like Snake was the villian in the first MGS almost. While Ocelot was trying to find Big Boss. Ocelot ... one of the Patriots!?!? The Dharpa Chief was Sigant from MGS3? HOLY FUCK. All the connections to the previous games, it's just godly. I just ordered MGS2 Substance for the PS2 (already have it for the Xbox but that system is kind of worthless now and it doesn't work on the 360), I plan on going through them all again here soon. It's unbelievable how everything is perfectly coming to an end here. When most people try this with long running series of movies, other videogames, or whatnot with entirely uneeded sequels things usually go to hell, not here at all. Wow. Seriously, what the hell!? Is Kojima a brilliant God for answering so much stuff here or was this all planned in the beginning? Even though again and again Konami wanted to make sure MGS2 was the end, then MGS3, etc ... then this and it fits flawlessly, answering everything. I'm with Xeios' here with his above statement, the amount of detail and quality put into this game with the storytelling is absolutely insane. There's nothing out there I'd even think to compare it to right now and hell, it blows even A++ movies out of the water. I could careless how many cutscenes there are and how long they are, this game is beautiful. I would like to believe it'd still be possible to port on the 360, though it'd need to be like 4+ discs, things when really need to be tuned down, etc ... (I still favor the 360), but regardless, there's no arguing this game finally shows off the edge the PS3 has over this generation in gaming. It's sad how mindblowing it is compared to just about any other triple A title big companies are releasing, it's mountains above everything. Insanity. This game ... I'm speechless. Yeah, I kinda figured the DARPA Chief was Sigint for awhile now actually. Why else would Ocelot kill him in the events of MGS1? Only the DARPA Chief would know who he was really working for. But yeah, it was nice to see some clarification to be honest. As each chapter unfolds: It will keep getting better and better. Act 4 should prove to start really bring some tears to your eyes, I Promise. And not trying to be a Fanboy or anything, but if they were to make this for the XBOX, it would have to make more than just expanded on HD-DVD's, they would have to get rid of the Ipod, Mac Book that Otacon uses, and etc. But if it does come to Xbox, more power to you guys, Im glad you guys will experience this wonderful story. But for now, the best experience is Only on PS3. I finally beat Big Boss Hard, but I was 14 minutes off the 5 hour limit, but I did get the FOX title, and got a nice little present for my efforts. Now its time to do ALL THAT SHIT AGAIN AND GET PISSED OFF. Least I know what I need to do now, its a sinch, and Saving is Key to this...*Head Desks* Edit- And I had to re-visit...someplace, and found a very interesting Ipod track, its the Ending to Policenaunts, that bears a strange resemblance to the opening of MGS1 on the PS1. (You know that little "Do. Do. Do. dododo." part? Yeah, that one, but...better) Here is how to get it! Spoiler:
When you are on Act 4, in Shadow Moses Island, remember when you have to punch in the Password to unlock the Door to the First Floor? Well, instead of punching in the code Otacon tells you, Punch in "13462" to get Policenaunts, and "78925" for another track that I have yet to Unlock. If you need 100,000 Drebin points, you punch in "14893", you should hear a Monkey scream if you did it correctly. Also, when it depletes your stamina, hit "X" rapidly to recharge it, I usually hit Triangle and X just to be sure it does, cause sometimes if you slow down, you cant recharge it all the way.
