Holy shit, Grand Theft Auto IV is set to be released on April 29. Anyone else heard about this. Discuss. Oh, and more info can be found here http://www.rockstargames.com/IV. I can't wait to buy this game I own all the other GTA games besides the remakes.

I saw a teaser for it basically a year ago. It looked amazing. I hope it will have gameplay to match, too, since I was never much of a fan of GTA games. All I was interested in was cruisin' around town, exploring, getting in fights, etc. Never any missions.

I haven't even play any GTA games in a long time.

I used to play GTAIII and GTA Vice City for PS2.

I bet this PS3 Game or X-Box360 game might blow me away.

It's insane. I remember when I first started at GameStop. Last March, the GTA IV was scheduled to come out around that time. Then it just kept getting pushed back. And it figures. I have to miss out on our midnight release because I have a final the next morning. Midnight releases are awesome, by the way.

I'm not too thrilled about the GTA games. My own neighborhood inspired the games practically...so its nothing new to me. Ask Xeios. They should definitely make a GTA:Kensington City Stories XDXD

But naturally, Ima cave and at least give the game a shot. It's a first on the next gen consoles, and I heard the online play is going to be kickass.

My friend was telling me how it wasn't actually hooking him. He'd waited for it for a while, but he's saying that it's no where near as good as originally made out to be.

And if it still doesn't hook him by Thursday, he's letting me borrow it.

IGN put up a video of things that you can do in the game.

And to think, people were pissed about Hot Coffee, which was considered a secret.

That, and who could forget about good Old Uncle Jack Thompson?

Personally, I think the game is great. Xbox or PS3. They are both remotely the same. Storyline is Vastly improved from its predecessors, and its just down right fun to play.

I have not cheated in this game as of yet, and I don't plan on doing it till 100% completion. Which is going to be nearly impossible at the moment thanks to Rockstar's Servers being out of wack.

I played it... I've only gotten fun out of it when I had a crap load of money, could buy as much RPG ammo as possible and blew the shit out of everything.

It didn't seem anything special to me, and controlling the character and the camera felt awkward.

The only thing I did not feel comfortable with is the Driving, but you can find my Review Here if you want to read one from a Gamer's point of view.

The Driving in this game takes a little getting used to. But feels worth it in the end.

The driving is indeed different than before, I'd say it feels pretty realistic. So you definitely have to know how to manage the gas, breaks, etc instead of just flooring it the whole time. Overall though I'd say all of the controls took awhile to get used too for me (maybe because it's the 360 verison and I was used to the PS controller?). Though, it had been really long since I played a 3rd person game.

(I've beaten it, some thoughts)

Overall, the game does in fact not offer as much gameplay or features that San Andreas had, or even Vice City. It's a little more limited. One thing myself and a ton of people missed were customizing cars. And it's pretty disappointing that there's only four clothes shops in the whole game. I also kind of missed not owning places, like businesses and getting money from them overtime.

Regardless of being more limited than the previous games, what Rockstar really succeeded at doing here was making a very interesting main character (Niko) and a really great storyline with a huge memorable cast of characters. Seriously, if they made a movie based off this game, it'd probably be pretty damn good. By the end of the game, you will have gone through just about every emotion you could think of with Niko. He was really a likeable and remorable character, unlike the previous GTA games.

On top of that they really made an awesome game here graphically, which wasn't something you could really say about the previous games which some would make fun of for looking "cartoony". This is just one of those games you really have to see with your own eyes. The middle city based off of New York's Time Square is truly amazing to see. In fact, let me just stop talking: Side by side comparisons of New York - Liberty City.

So yeah, while the game is a bit simpler than the others, the plot and characters are far more engaging and the engine is just great. There's also DLC coming up of course then after that, I can only imagine the next GTA games will be really insane now that they've got the engine built and everything.

Yeah, it's really fun. This one I am actually enjoying doing stuff on. It also looks great, and Niko is a cool guy. I've sort of held off doing storyline based missions right now to mess around and do some 'dates' with friends and Michelle. Trying to get Little Jacob to get 75% like with me, but for such a easygoing guy he sure is hard to befriend.

EDIT: Jacob.

The only thing I do not like about the Graphics is that God-Damn overused "Bloom" that many developers think are cool.

No, they are not. Thank God the developers of Home scrapped it. It looks like every light particle reflects even a Black piece of paper. Christ that annoys me.

Hmm, typo on your part now ... did you mean "Little Jacob"?
(the rasta brethan mah'no? heh, he's pretty cool).

Nagis: Yeah, that is a little overdone now. I didn't really notice it that much myself but, least it's not Halo 3.

I am joining the Bandwagon, Guys, what is your favorite Radio Station on GTA4?

Before I start, What the hell happend to Maurice Chaves? He was that Love Expert that was Introduced on GTA3, his shows were absolutely hilarious! Even his voice was...Oh man, I was hoping to hear him in GTA4, but instead got that San Andreas Rock Radio Host in his "Interactive" radio Station.

Anyways, my personal favorite Station isnt anything Rock...Instead, Its San Juan!

My favorite song in the entire game!

Edit- I blame my Mexican for the fact that he got me hooked on this kinda music.

The Russian station all the way. As well as anything with techno, and such.

I just found a really really easy way to do One Man Army (that I did on a friend's Xbox so he got the 40G, heh). When you still haven't unlocked the middle island, break through the cop barrier then proceed to the bridge. Jump down the middle of the bridge onto the tracks. Then go into the subway tunnels. They cannot get to you. Easy peasy, and you get to explore the underground systems. There's bums in there!
