| Yeah Cyro is pretty freaking insane at this game. I just want to make it to lvl 55, I really don't want to prestige -not now-
Also, the Servers were updated, and the not connecting into a game issue is resolved, well, it happens A LOT less frequently. So its all good  |

So, Cyro ... you must obviously have some tips on leveling up super fast, possibly? 
Like I said earlier though I hit level 30 in a single day almost, sticking to HQ mainly. But once you hit 40 you start to feel the slump. I'm almost 55 again and I think I'll go Prestige a second time but I'm not sure after that. I kind of like the idea of going for the golden guns (especially the AK!). Sadly I don't believe this game can cross-platform, so I don't think we'll be able to play on different systems. (Last edited by XeoLVII on 01-12-08 08:26 PM) |

| Veteran has gotten a little easier. I still die a lot, but I am progressing. Hardest part so far was getting to the barn in "Hunted". That small distance to get there was terrible, I kept on getting picked off by the copter. =/
I'd also die when climbing over the sandbags because, I'd climb over it, but have to do so again (like I got stuck in it or something)... I am NOT looking forward to "One Shot, One Kill". The part where you wait for the chopper was freakin' hell on just Hardened.  |

Neato. I might just stop at level 2 though, unless I keep playing this game obsessively like I am (which could be very possible, this game still hasn't bored me at all). Plus I kind of like the idea of going for the golden weapons (complete all challenges for a gun). The golden AK is damn sexy! But yeah, I seriously have never really gotten into an FPS by myself as much as I have with this game. I mean, yeah I played Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Halo, and all those all the time with friends ... but despite the fact that a lot of people I know don't have this, I'm still playing all the time. |

| As for leveling up online, most people say Search and Destroy is the best way. But there's something wrong with that- you only get a lot of XP if you manage to kill a lot of people. You get more XP for killing and staying alive. So if you a prone to dying a lot, then I wouldn't reccomend that game type. Sabotage is a good one too. 10 XP per kill, but if the game ends shortly you barely get anything. On the other hand, depending on how long the match lasts, you could get way more XP than playing a good S&D match. | |||

| Yeah that sounds right, since you get so much for kills in S&D. I'll probably be sticking to HQ, Sabatage, Domination, and Hardcore though, just because I'm too aggressive sometimes. Weird how the exp bonuses get way bigger the higher level you are, but I guess it makes sense.
I don't know what was going on last night but I was annihilating people. Getting at least 40 kills a game and I was pulling in at least 700exp every game. I've realized I'm kind of inconsistent with the M16 and I don't know why. There were some insane games I've had lately but then I end up eventually doing terrible with the gun, it's like I get frantic when aiming it. That doesn't make sense because I'm usually a one shot kill with the G3/M14. I just think in the end, I'm more of an AK kind of guy. I don't know, I'm just a lot better with that gun and even pretty good at taking down people from afar. |

| I personally think HQ and Search and Destroy were perfect for me on XP. Im not really a "Strategy" kinda person, but I do well with my UT style of gameplay, however I die alot.
But dont get me wrong, there are moments where I take my time and think things through, I like it how some HQ areas have more than one opening when capturing it. And when people guard the obvious way inside the area, I normally take the way hardly no one uses, or is less defended. (You know what I mean? I hope so. XD) There are moments where I get my ass kicked, or moments where im the one Kicking ass. Thats why I love playing this game online. You never know WHAT people are going to do. |

| TP, was that you? Wow, those two games of Sabatage were freaking insane. They both went into sudden death and our team pulled through both times.
Man I was going crazy on that first game on Vacant. My k/d ratio was like 2:1, I ended up with like 60-ish kills? Overgrown was alright, I prefer that map for Hardcore usually. That was fun though. How many games did you play with me? Sorry if I didn't notice before these two, lol. |

| I think just those two. You aren't really talkative, eh? I did alright on Vacant, I was about 2:1 as well (though at about 27-13) but on Overgrown I kinda sucked. =/
I cannot snipe for the life of me on Overgrown, but I've found a new way that works quite well: stealth. Silenced guns, UAV Jammer. It kills on Overgrown. |

| I actually didn't have a mic on, usually don't play with it on for some reason.
I did alright sniping, the Barrett was doing good for me on that game on Overgrown. I've come to really like the M40 though (yes, the first sniper. the range and accuracy is amazing for it, just have to make sure the hits count. But that's no problem in Hardcore ...) |

| I did pretty well today as Stealth. Seriously, nobody knows where I am, it's great. I had a 15 Kill Streak in Pipeline, just chillin' on the hills.

| Having the Iron Lungs perk for sniping helps. And I've never used it myself, but having Dead Silence with a shotty my help get you closer to enemies before they notice you. I really only use the shotty in Vacan, though. And even then only in the building. The confining spaces don't allow opponents much room to move around. So all you really have to do is wait by a door and let 'em have it. | |||

| Yeah, besides Vacant and some of the lame smaller levels (Wetworks and Shipment), shotguns are kind of pointless in this game if you ask me. I usually only use them for the challenges and exp. | |||

| Rank 49 Here Only played for two days lol and that was on my cousins 360.
I <3 my heavy machine guns... Give me an M60EO4 with the red dot site and and the two Bullet Perks, Deeper Impact and the one that makes em hurt more. If I see a muzzle sticking out of a window or doorway your raped...cause I'm gonna unload at head level. TDM is the best way IMO to rank up and do the challenges, I started off with the rifle and did all of those then did the SMG then the HMG and did the sniper ones to I'd swap between the M60 and the Dragunov. |

| TDM is definitely not the best, in my opinion.
I get way more kills in say Headquarters and Sabatage. For LMG's I like the RPD a lot because it had great iron sights, thus it's very easy to use the grip with. The M60 is great too, besides, it's Rambo's weapon. 
I'm level 30 something on my 2nd prestige. |

| Yeah, HQ is the best way to level up. I just discovered it yesterday and in 4 hours I went from 18 to 31. On average I get about 400 to 500 points per game and if I'm on Vacant I get 50 or so kills. | |||

Long equation, but it always works for me. I haven't played it CoD4 in a while, I had to return it. It's not in at the moment, and I can't buy it because it's not in anywhere else. Ugh. =/ I played 2 rounds of Halo 3 today. That many people still play it? |
