I've spent the better half of the last two years searching for another Giant Stitch plush. At first, it was merely for my amusement to have two. But, now, one of my coworker buddies is getting married, and I know that his fiancee would love to have a giant Stitch of her own. So, I implore you, great dwellers of the intarwebs, please help me locate one. I'm willing to pay up to $150 for the thing, including any "I found it" rewards. Please repost this video as well, to anywhere you can.

I'm pretty much desperate, they're wedding is on November 17th.

And, this proves that I have not fallen off the face of the planet, I merely have a demanding working life now:

I'm not sure if this one is as big as what you want, but...

It's 12 inches tall...

EDIT: Yeah, after watching the video, it's nothing compared to the one you want. xD Sorry.

Thanks for trying, anyway. There were so many, there's no way they were all just destroyed. Someone has to be selling one somewhere, but then, I wouldn't think of selling mine.

Ah, well, I'm not going to give up just yet...

If anything, at least repost the video somewhere.

I checked http://home.disney.go.com/shopping/ and it seems like anything Stitch is out-dated on their site, like it always refers you to the outlet section, and neither Lilo nor Stitch are listed as characters on the site.

Still haven't found any good leads to a big Stitch. I checked Bizrate, Shop.com (which was odd because searching for "Stitch plush" brings up nothing but baseball memorabilia), Toys 'R' Us, and all of these random giant plush toy websites that came up in the Google sponsored links.

They have a bunch of them at Downtown Disney. However a website to buy the plushies is pretty much out of the question, if you asked me this last year, I could have gotten one for cheap.

14" tall. Probably I really doubt it's what you want, but oh well.

If you're that desperate, just go to Nagis' Disney.

I used to work for Disneyland Resort, I can just go myself. Although, it is hard since I'm not going down until Thanksgiving. I will check the resort, well, call the resort, myself. It's not Nagis' Disney.

Anyway, I can get one for cheap as well, I still have friends that work for Disneyland. But, I wanted to avoid the whole having to actually go to the Resort.

Still looking, though. And Rogue, is that Baby Pirate toon anywhere online? I wanna show my coworkers.

However, I do doubt that the Disneyland Resort, including Downtown Disney, would have the giant plush Stitch as they were a Disney Store exclusive, and the merchandise is not interchangeable between the different entities (since Disney Store is no longer owned or operated by Disney; it's parent company is the Children's Place), and having worked retail at Disneyland, I know that statement to be a fact.

I will still check, though. Maybe they have a different equivalent version. I didn't realize my big Stitch was so rare.

Sure is.

Kind of a crappy version, but I'm not sure if Paul's posted it himself anywhere (he only posted stills from it on his LJ). Just look up "Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006" and videos should come up for it.

Ok, good. I've saved a copy and downloaded the 113MB MPEG just in case.

Anyway, I'm pretty much hoping on acquiring a bootleg giant Stitch now, but I'll keep looking.

The bride-to-be was so flattered by the video alone, that she's happy with just that as her wedding present. I'd still like multiple Stitches, though.

Oh, and Rogue, we need to talk about flight times/dates and airfare.

I still haven't had any luck finding a genuine big Stitch, nor a bootleg one that's that large.

I keep telling Brandon to reply to the comment you made in my LJ, but he keeps neglecting to do it.

You have his number, right?

I'm just directing the two of you together since you guys are the ones with schedules and jobs while I'm just going with the flow.

You could always become a QA Tester. It does require the ability to communicate coherently in writing, and find bugs. And, you can do both.

I've only seen one bootleg giant Stitch, and it was a picture of one sitting in a car in Japan. Wanna hit Downtown Disney with me when I drive down for Thanksgiving?

Sure! Probably Saturday since Brandon made plans for Friday night (he's getting tickets to see Down, this metal band he's really into) and this is after driving home from Phoenix after driving there the day before. It's helpful having two drivers now, I guess.

Both Saturday and Sunday I'm free that weekend. Were you going to try to go to Loscon? It's that weekend as well, though I haven't heard about anything great being planned.

I think I'll drop in for LosCon, all will depend on where my funds lie.

Anyway, I did find a Squishables site instead of the giant Stitch, but it just won't due. Since my coworker is referred to as the Monkey, I thought about getting his bride-to-be a Squishable Monkey. But, don't wanna spend $38 for a ball of fluff.

And, yet, I'm still willing to spend up to $150 for a giant Stitch.

Im pretty sure thats how much one is going to cost you. If you cant find it in Downtown Disney, just ask any cast member, and they will be more than happy to find one for you through a phone or Manager.

Also, Lemmie call down there myself and try to look up more information for you. I still talk to my old boss in Frontierland from time to time.

Apparently, you don't read.

I am an ex-cast member for the Disneyland Resort. I served the rat for 2 1/2 years. I am fully aware of the operations within Stores. Why? I worked for Disneyland Store Operations.

I know of the procedures. I know of DelivEARS. I know of every single little facet of the Stores Customer Service model that I can probably school you in it. In fact, I was a trainer at the Resort. Don't patronize me in the ways of Disney. My seniority, at the moment, far surpass yours.

I even, for a moment, trained at Walt Disney World for my specialized positions within Disneyland Park. I know exactly how the distribution and merchandising systems work, both for the Stock department and for the Stores department. I have worked in merchandising for both the Disney Store and the online website division. I have worked for Guests, locating their prized possessions through the vast network of DelivEARS service, which included the distribution networks at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland.

I have worked in the offices of Team Disney Anaheim, in the corporate departments of Store Operations. Please do not hesitate to realize that I have already exhausted every possible option within the Disney organization--because I have--and now I turn to the private sale of the aforementioned Disney merchandise because the Disney organization has failed me.

To the full extent of their abilities, they cannot produce the merchandise for me for reasons either known or unknown. And, as stated before, Disney Store merchandise is not interchangeable with Disneyland/Disney World merchandise, which further means that the divisions do not talk to each other. Therefore, I have turned to other people that may happen to own a similar Stitch, as I do, and are willing to part with it, as I am not.

All that aside, don't patronize me with your Disney customer service model. I am not a guest, I will not eat it up. I'm am ex-Disney, and a disgruntled one at that.

It has been a few years, but I still know the Fireworks schedule. I still know the phone number extensions. I still know the summer and off-season schedules. I still have friends, that actually are in high enough positions to make a dent, working there. Trust me when I state that I have pursued my options through Disney to the fullest extent of their offerings.

I do thank you for your excellent application of the Disney brainwashing, but it just will not work on me. Or, most Annual Passholders.
