| Ok, I'm getting extremely frustrated since Christmas! My parents were very generous and knew I wanted a Wii for Christmas, but because they know they are terrible at buying anything electronic, they gave me a gift certificate for $320 to buy it. Well, I wasn't surprised when I went to stores to look for it and didn't find anywhere that had it in stock. That's not what has me frustrated. What has me frustrated is when I ask them when will they have it in stock, they all give me the same response "Well, maybe in a week, or two. Maybe a month, we really don't know." All of them give me that! I'm becoming convinced that the Wii is either just a mythical plastic box or is now extinct! Arg! *sighs* Yet I continue my search.
Anyone else have experiences something along the lines of this? How do you keep yourself from attacking the sales people? |

| Where have you been looking? Is there any store that you haven't checked? Also see if there is a waitlist you can put your name down on so they can call you when they get one in stock. | |||

Anyways, I have a solution for Belial, at least. Buy.com. I found it there when I was buying it for my cousins. And if they are everywhere, why don't you buy it, then ship it to Rose, and have her pay you? Also, why is this in Sunset? Oh well... |

| Elara: I've looked the the common places, video game stores as well as regular shops and they give me the same response. There is not wait list at any of them.
Belial: I've actually seen the game in some of the store I've seen and I hate you that it's everywhere with you 
DragonXander: Not sure I could pay her since it's a gift certificate I'm using. And it's in sunset mainly because I needed to vent out because it's been getting to me, mainly the fact that people at stores don't seem to be doing their jobs. It's silly, but I'm a silly person at times. To all: I might have found a place, but I won't have a chance to check it out till the weekended. Thank you all for listening to me whine. |

| Make sure the employes CHECK when you visit somehwere that isn't a video game-centric place (Target, Bestbuy, for example). Many just assume they are sold out all the time without knowing a shipment of two or three came in that morning. | |||

| A little inside tip. They're not allowed to tell you exactly when it comes in because that would give you an unfair advantage in getting in line before everyone else. They usually release that kind of information the day before it comes into stock.
Of course they certainly would tell you when they actually do have it in stock, but the Wiis go so fast you wouldn't believe. |

| I've had my Wii since launch, and I love my Wii.
Many of my non-gamer friends come over all the time to play, whether it be Wario Ware, Big Brain, MP8, or even just the pack-in Wii Sports. The big thing is rePLAYability. There are only a handful of cool games, BUT you will be playing them over and over and over, so it even end ups being economic without having to buy "the next new thing" every month. I personally get most of my playtime in with the Virtual Console. I'm a sucker for nastolgia. |
