Ancient Egypt. A terrible threat is brewing. One of epic proportions. However, for now, a grandiose festival in the land of Egypt has begun at it's Capital City. The Pharaoh of Egypt is attending this festival as well. Walking amongst the people, and overseeing a contest. A contest, where the reward is to touch the magical artifact which is set in the Pharaoh's throne room. This artifact is said to have come from the Gods themselves, and can imbue the one whom touches it, with their grace, strength, and magic. The contest has drawn many people, and even some from another land.
Bringing it back, most cool. I'm eliminating the ability to play as the Silbuatians, simply so that the story can be more focused on one side. And as to not make the fatal error of RPing, splitting the group into two. Many other things are changing along the storyline, but it will flow better this way, with many more options for players. Character Form:: ~Name: ~Age: ~Nationality: (Egyptian is base, but you may pick others. If you are from another nationality, you will be in town for the contest to see how powerful you are.) ~Patron Deity: (If Egyptian try to make it a real Egyptian god, if you can't do this, then run a created god by me. If you are some other nationality, then please run the god by me. Just so you have all the necessary information.) ~Weapons: (no guns, can be slightly technological(see my character for an example) ~Appearance: ~History: (keep it at a paragraph minimum, 4 paragraphs maximum) ~Powers: (related to your patron deity entirely, nothing too extreme) ~Name: Seti Makiti ~Age: 27 ~Side: Egyptian ~Patron Deity: Set god of the Desert ~Weapons: A simple brown staff engraved with heiroglyphics, standing at four and a half feet tall. Tarishn - A one and a half foot long dagger that is placed on the top of Seti's right wrist, the mechanism taking all of his forearm. It is sent outward on a specific contration on muscles, and is hardly ever triggered when not wanted. ~Appearance: His skin is a light tan color, his eyes an eerie shade of blue. He bore about his face a stubbly goatee. About his body are brown robes, colored like sand and covering the majority of his body. Dark brown gloves and boots are the only differentiation of color across his whole outfit. Besides of course the blood red symbol of the scepter and ankh of Set. His robes cover almost all of his skin, except a small opening in the wrappings around his face for him to see through. ~History: Seti was gifted with his powers at birth. It seemed as if he were borne of the god Set himself. His first encounter with these powers was at the age of 15, when he became lost from the traveling caravan somewhere in the desert. He believed himself to be a goner and had given up hope. Eventually he realized that he was not thirsty, tired, or drained from the sun's rays. It was almost as if he had found his natural environment. After taking into account his apparent immunity to the threat of the desert, he began walking into the distance. He concentrated on the sand, on his surroundings and gained a better understanding of them both. Rumors began spreading about him, calling him a child of Set, a ghost, and a demon. Each step his takes upon the sand creates a dust devil at his feet for a few moments. A swish of his cloak is known to spawn a sandstorm. He controls the sand with grace and strength. ~Powers: Control of Sand. |

~Name: Strisus ~Age: 21 ~Nationality: Babylonian ~Patron Deity: Palius, God of Death ~Weapons: A large hammer, called Ormoeus, that gets more powerful the more it kills. He also weils a bolas, kept on his right hip. ~Appearance: Strisus is a large man, standing nearly eleven feet tall, with a four foot shoulder span. He has a bushy red beard and a shaved head. His left eye is glossy, and has a scar across it, from his days in the Duelist Pit. He wears leather armor, although it is quite useless, and a sweeping red cloak. He also has a helmet, with a T for the eyes and mouth, and a blood red plume. ~History: Strisus was captured from his home in Babylon at the age of 6 in a Egyptian attack. He was sent to the Duelist Pit, where he was trained in combat, to fight in many challenges, for the audiences amusement. Surprisingly, he survived to the age of 19, when he was enlisted in the military as a slave. He was forced to use mediocre armor, and flimsy weapons that often broke in combat. At one point, some young soldiers thought it would be funny to abandon him in the desert. He wandered for days, until he was near death. At this point he was visited by Palius, the Babylonian god of death, who told him of his destiny. Palius gave him Ormoeus, and guided him to the Egyptian capital. There, he confronted the Pharaoh, and was made a free man. He reenlisted, and is now the supreme commander for the Egyptian army. ~Powers: Strisus is massive in size and strength. He is also immune to most blunt attacks, if they manage to reach him. He can also communicate with lost souls, through contact with Palius, although he must be in a near death situation to do this. ~Name: Theul ~Age: Unknown ~Nationality: Egyptian ~Patron Deity: Anubis, god of death ~Weapons: A craggily staff, which entwines around a glowing purple stone embedded on the top. ~Appearance: A stooped old man, Theul wears simple brown robes. He wears his thick black hair slicked back. ~History: Not much of his history is known, but he has been an advisor to the royal family for generations. ~Powers: Theul has many powers, including the preservation of his life, all of which stem from his staff. |
