For years I always had these endless hunts. Secret of Mana, Megaman X2/X3, Chrono Trigger, etc. But I've finally gotten like, everything that I can think of and ever really wanted.

My drunk friend says you need Earthbound.
That's right, he's drunk. In school. All the way. Anyway, I can only suggest Contra III and Megaman 7. Oh, and Super Ghouls and Ghosts! |

Modding your SNES is ridiculously easy. I say that because I did it, and I can't do shit. =)
Anywho, if you self-mod your SNES it'll open you up to a slew of Japanese games. Like the DBZ games |

R-Type 3.
Less importantly... Stunt Race FX is a pretty good choice, if the childish graphics aren't an issue for you. The last few races can be absolutely brutal. Utopia is a pretty good game. Requires the mouse. A highly condensed summary is "simcity in space", but there's more to it than that. You probably saw this coming from our past conversations, but Super Earth Defense Force. That's about all I can think of that hasn't been covered... oh, and send me your SNES and games |

Thor: Definitely some good games there. Loved those Star Wars games, and they were pretty damn tough at times.
The Politician: I'll never understand what's so great about Earthbound. , also you missed Super Ghouls n' Ghosts on my list I guess. Shuyin: Yeah I might consider that if I can get ahold of another SNES. Vidar: Yeah, I've wanted R-Type 3 for a long time, but it seems like one of those incredibly rare-expensive games, to the ultra max. Guess I'll keep my mind on it though. Haven't played those other games, but I'll give them a shot. |

Try a rom for Utopia, of course. That won't help with Stunt Race FX, though; ZSNES eventually just dies on it, and SNES9x screws up the sound and graphics a good bit, and that's the better one!
And I thought you played Super EDF... anyway, if you haven't, careful with that rom, sometimes stage 3 is screwed up in ZSNES where the midboss is almost invisible. That's a bitch to deal with You'll never understand... what's so great... about Earthbound? HEATHEN! HERETIC! BLASPHEMER! Seriously though, I don't know why, but your loss. Personally, I thought it was nice to have an RPG that doesn't constantly remind you of the Impending Apocalypse of Fire, Doom, Death, and Fire. |

I tried it out and I thought it was pretty awesome. Leveling up? That's pretty unique.
I didn't get to try out all of the gun-types, but Homing seemed like my kind of gun. |

It won't be once you hit the third or fourth level; it's pathetically weak.
Try S. Laser instead. |

You need this device that plugs into the game port that allows you to play roms off a floppy disk... My friend has one, and he has basically every SNES game ever made on floppy disks... Hundreds of the bloody things! | |||

Danny, I'm pretty sure Xeo wants the real thing.
Edit: More importantly, many SNES games are too big for floppy disks... unless they make them bigger than 1.44 MB now, which given the widespread use of CDs seems very unlikely. (Last edited by Vidar on 05-29-07 06:42 PM) |

omagawd, two words for you.
Star Ocean. By far the most extensive RPG to date on the SNES, you just won't be finding it in English. Always emulators though, they have patched versions of it every where. |

I think a lot of my friend's games are homebrew stuff anyway. |
