Oh yeah. That's happened to me. A couple years ago, when I was trying to make some money before this convention in Vegas, I went to sell a bunch of my books at a second-hand store and got $5 for box of paperbacks. There were a couple more boxes that they wouldn't buy, but they said they'd accept them as donations. 
There have been other occasions like that for me. Most involving garage sales my neighborhood has had. Have you ever tried to sell something you made? |

| Yep. Since I really wasn't up on actually doing my summer reading for the AP/honors classes in high school until the last minute, I ended up reading some of my books within the last days of summer. I read Ivanhoe, Brave New World, Fallen Angels, A Canticle for Liebowitz, Prozac Nation, Hunger from Memory, Warrior Woman, and Dust Tracks on the Road in a matter of a day each.
There are several books I've read in a one day because I really liked them. Have you ever fallen into a thorny bush of some kind (roses, etc)? |
