| Not sure why I didn't post this before. It is a very old poem that I wrote. I do realize there are flow problems...
Walking through the mist and darkness The path I follow is bare and markless Searching, seeking, high and low Looking for something of which I know Looking for anything that is not the same Wondering if I'm to blame Because I lost my loving wife I feel there is no point to life, full of despair and strife Striving to rediscover my loving wife I met her once before On the early ocean shore It was April, may, or June And we sat staring at the moon We loved each other like no other Like the winter and the summer To be parted Now or then Would it be the very end For two lovers bound together should not be parted Now or ever But my lover Yes, her mother Did not want me To be the other The more they tried to keep us apart The more the love grew in both our hearts But we continued to love each other And we overcame my lovers mother Ah, I remember it loud and clear As if someone whispering it in my ear Tis a pity such a waste That my lovers life was taken in such haste When this happened I implore I crumbled to the floor I could stand it no more Nevermore |

| You have some pretty creative stuff in there. I'll admit it does have some cliche's, and some flow issues, but I like a few of the ideas.
