Just an FYI, I can't see any banner images. 
Perhaps the images were moved or the file is broken, or my internet is crap. I'm willing to bet that my internet is crap since my college's IT department is run by total idiots. |

| That silly rotating banner.php used over FIVE GIGS of transfer this month...
1) Because it can't be cached 2) Becuase the images it is rotating through are WAY bigger than they should be... JPG Quality 8 is what they should all be. That being said, I did not modify, disable, or inhibit the banner.php functionality. |

| So, I'm guessing that the rotating banner is not happening anymore? Thats just fine with me. But as an idea, it could be something that is customizable to the user: Users could choose from a number of banners, just like color schemes, but just the banner. Thats just an an idea.
5 gb of bandwidth...holy crap. Thats nothing to ignore. I get 100GB of bandwidth per month on my site, but thats just me.... |
