| It always baffles me when people say they don't believe in bisexuality, yet they believe in homosexuality, heterosexuality, and asexuality. How the idea of being attracted to both genders is rejected by many in gay and straight community is beyond me. I agree that it can be used as a front for not coming out all the way. One of my best friends is like that. I concur. Bisexuality has become some sort of fad. The whole 'I make out with other chicks, therefore I am Bi' philosophy gets on my nerves.

I know several guys that are like that too. They're like "Chicks dig bi guys." So....you're pretending to like boys to get girls. That hardly makes sense.

*The concrete is rather smooth, smoother than it should be. Xicer notices this as his light, yet tough, shoes slide easily across the ground. "Diameter 240 ft." He murmurs quietly to himself as he extends one of his hands outward. A small white light appears in front of him. The light flickers once, then extends to approximately 4 ft. The light fades and reveals a sleek looking staff. His fingers wrap around the warm weapon and pulls it towards him. He allows his other hand to rise from his side, fingers exposed ready to grab something. The same famiiar light appears, however it does not lengthen. Instead is takes the shape of a gun that falls neatly into his outstretched hand. The end of the staff glows slightly as he begins tapping it on the ground. With each tap, a small dot of light is left in the concrete. He slowly walks backward, counting up in his head as he taps the ground. Once he reaches the number 12 in his head, he comes to a halt. He raises his gun and points it in Dave's direction, who now is roughly 30 ft. away. The barrel begins to glow violet and a smile creeps upon the blind folded man.*

Okay. So this movie came out Friday. But it's not showing ANYWHERE in my area. Not even at the indie movie theatre. My friends and I have been wanting to see this for awhile and I heard it got reviews. Grrr. |

I liked the movie. But the ending.....Grrr....I don't like it at all. Cliff hangers can be a great way to end a movie, but not done like that. I'd like SOME loose ends taken care of before the movie ends.

I saw it last night. Not at the I max like I wanted to... The movie was okay at best. The action was good, but then again it's hard to eff that up. I wasn't impressed with anything though. As I said I don't like super man. And this movie went ahead with everything I don't like about him. He's one dimensional. He had no character development what-so-ever. Super hero movies like batman begins, spiderman, even xmen had at least some. Hell, even Daredevil did. |

It's not the angst i'm attracted too....(I hate Sasuke so that can't be it.) It's more of the substance. I want to see more than one side of a super hero. Especially if they're overpowered and have virtually no weakness except a slight allergy to an obscure crystal.

My friend and I got in an argument over him. (Haha, mature right?) She said he's unique. I said he's the poster boy of all superheroes, he's far from unique. She's like "Well, his disguise is Clark Kent. He really is superman. Unlike Batman who wears a disguise to be a superhero. Superman is unique." So I say: "Oh...yeah. That makes him unique. Even though mos t of the Xmen have to disguise themselves to fit in." And we keep it going from there. (Last edited by Machiavellism on 07-13-06 07:42 PM)
