| Over this passed weeked, I did a whole lot of nothing. Spent my usual time with Pockets. We saw VenomousLobster and Elara. After going on the swingset of a local park. We also talked about chocolate penis's with Whiterose. It was a long weekend so it was nice just being able to spend time with Pockets. | |||

| Suicide is really a tough topic. I mean, is suicide ever justified? Maybe you should tell that to your friend. Tell them that you understand that they are having problems, but is killing themselves really the answer? Life hurts and everything, but if you're dead you're not going to be any happier. I do agree with Rogue, and Spartan, that the blunt apporach is good. Suck it up, they'll get over it. I know I'd be pretty damned depressed if my boyfriend and I broke up, but I wouldn't kill myself. And as far as your riend being depressed it's something they'll only get over by themselves.
I disagree however with what you said about Medical Depression some cases are too severe for medicinal aid. Hence the case of Danielle Steele's son. Who killed himself due to bipolar emotions. She wrote a book about it called His Bright Light |

| I was just wondering. I'd kind of like to now how everyone is connected on the board. Who do you know in real life, and how? And who did you meet on the board,and become really good friends with? It gets confusing with who knows who and who sees who.
I personally know: Pockets, Elara, VenomousLobster, Whiterose,and GuardianOni. I've also met: Rogue, Zabuza, and Zoso. I met all of these people through Pockets who turned me on to the board. I'd like to meet: Spartan, Drizzt, Katana, FX, and Shaddow (these are people I've met on the board, but spoken to outside of the board.) I thought this thread would be cool because i always see people talking about how they hung out with so-and-so, and it'd be nice to know how they connect. |

| So this weekend I plan on going to my boyfriends like every weekend and simply relaxing. We've both been sick so it should be nice. There is always the possibilty of going to play pool, and we might go see Antigone at Long Beach City College.
It's funny, before I never really cared about the weekends. I never understood why people were so obsessed by TGIF. I always enjoyed school. Now I know. I love the weekends. I live for them. |

| You have some pretty creative stuff in there. I'll admit it does have some cliche's, and some flow issues, but I like a few of the ideas.

| I had the best weekend I've had in a long time.
On Friday Pockets and I had an interesting morning. I wasn't feeling good and hadn't done an essay that was due so I didn't go to school. Instead I drove to work with Pockets and was planning on sleeping in the car. We got there really early and fell asleep. Didn't wake up until half an hour after he was supposed to go in. So he freaks out and runs inside and I try to go back to sleep. Ten seconds later he comes out saying that it's his day off (He gets one a month). We went home and slept for a bit. Then, went to see 300. It was amazing. If you haven't seen it yet go see it ASAP. It was really the best movie I've seen in a really long time. After the movie we went to dinner at Lucille's and we shared a tri-tip salad. It was tasty. We meadered over to Barnes and Noble and I finially found some more Poppy Z. Brite books, and Pockets finally found a Scott Cunningham book he's been looking for forever. We ended the night with seeing Pocket's speech teacher play guitar and sing a bunch of really romantic oldies at It's a Grind. Saturday, I cleaned Pockets' room and we had dinner with his dad (tri-tip again for all of us). And on Sunday we stayed in, did homework, cleaned the kitchen, went grocery shopping, made a lasagna, and watched Troy I wasn't feeling to well so I slept through most of it. It was an eventful weekend, but really great. |

| The movie for the most part did follow historical text. All except for the ending. It was actually the Greek Navy that defeated the Persians, but of course it suited the movie to replce that notion with a foot army.
If you remember when Queen Gorgo mentions the battle of marathon, we get the term marathon from a man who upon hearing of the first victory over the Persians (the tall creepy guy's dad in the movie, the King before him) he ran all the way to Athens to announce the victory his name was Marathon. Just a little interesting tid-bit. |
