I've been sick and cramping, just feeling really shitty. I blame the illness on having to take my family from out of town all over L.A. with my cousin's bratty son sneezing and coughing on me constantly in the back of their minvan. |

| Was filming all of yesterday and the day before and will continue to do today, and possibly the rest of the week. Brandon and I are extras again, although we've signed an NDA dictating we can't say any more than that.

| Yesterday, when Brandon and I were on our way up to L.A., we ended up listening to the Kevin and Bean Show and they were talking about Dave Mustaine and having people call in with their own conspiracy theories.
Yeah... wow... I knew there were nutjobs, but these were really special people. Now when I think of conspiracy theorists, I picture older, white guys (overweight and/or tin foil hat, optional). We had young women, Latinos, African-Americans, etc all calling and speaking with conviction about hidden concentration camps on U.S. soil upheld by FEMA to move us into them and trap us there, water fluoridation being a mind controlling substance, and how there's that planet with a wide orbit that's going to swing through and end our world in December, among so many other stories. The young woman who called in for fluoridation kept bragging that she only drinks Trader Joe's Electrolyte-Enhanced Water and pretty much insinuated that everyone else was an idiot for not drinking it too. The latino guy who called in about Planet X actually said he was going to take his family to the place and the worst impact and "just end it right away." Kevin and Bean asked him to call them back in January to see how it all turns out, and the guy goes, "OK." Takes a moment, then says, "I don't plan on living, but yeah I'll call you." Holy crap, man. Anyway, there are people who seem to believe Dave's right. Eep... |

| HOLY FUCK. Fuck you, newschopper, for hovering over my house all morning and waking me up at 5:30. There's apparently an accident on the 91 leading to the 605 since I ended up tuning to the channel on the side of the chopper.
It's just that we had to wake up at 4:45 yesterday and 5 the two mornings before since we've had such early call times for the shoot we're doing, with us getting home at freaking midnight every night. Just when I thought I'd get to sleep in a little more... *Shakes fist at the sky* |

| It would be like saying that if you, as a man, woke up feeling hazy and drugged from a drink you had the night before, discovered your rectum bloodied and aching, semen leaking out. You don't know what happened to you or even if it was just one man or several who have raped you. You took an STI test and discovered you have HIV or AIDS, then was told you can't get any assistance in your medical bills.
It's just rape and unwanted pregnancy don't quite translate to men. I just feel that rape not only hurts women, but men as well. It's common to blame the victim, and say that "she led him on" or "she shouldn't have worn that or been there when she was." It's like saying, "Boys will be boys, and it's YOUR fault you didn't know that every man is an erection away from raping the next thing he sees." I would hate to be a man in that regard. That you are automatically assumed as a predator. That your bad behavior is excusable because that's just the way you are and women should know that. |

| Rape and sodomy are two very different things.
Sodomy can be consensual, as MANY people can attest (homosexual or otherwise), involving anal and oral sex. Rape is forced/non-consensual intercourse, be it with a penis or other foreign object inserted into a vagina, mouth, or anus. It would be like comparing Coca-Cola and Clorox. Both can be consumed like beverages, but one stings the throat and may involve calling in the authorities, ending with you having a rather traumatic experience involving them removing a fluid from your body. Haven't gotten a decent night's sleep in a week now. The last couple mornings since the background work there've been that helicopter, then the next morning my neighbor decided to rake the sidewalk at 6 in the morning. Those fucking, metal tines SCRAPING on the pavement causing this shrill sound that echoed through the morning air and making it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep through it.
