Thanks guys for the thread.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go anywhere due to the hurricane/tropical storm, but I'll probably do something next weekend. Fortunately not much happened in my area (just a lot of wind and rain), but there's a lot of damage in other places.
I'm finding that the older you get, the faster time goes by. There's so many things I still want to do and not enough time to do them. But I press on. |

| Yeah, you know, I can consider myself VERY lucky considering everything that went on yesterday. Other than the power going out for a few seconds in the morning, I had power pretty much all day. There was a period where the wind was consistently blowing 30~40mph and that's when I thought we were going to lose power, but amazingly that didn't happen. | Around here, leaves are already starting to change color and most of the roads are covered with fallen leaves. Since there are a lot of trees around here, it looks pretty cool.
Rogue, it's always a pleasure this time of year seeing you post those pictures of boobies, haha. I don't know whether to be worried or excited if you have unlimited supply of these pictures, haha. |

| I have a Facebook account, but only because I thought I was going to meet more Japanese people -- boy was I wrong. Now I only use it to check updates from different game companies -- I don't have any friends and everything is private. I used to use a Facebook-like clone called Mixi (a Japanese social networking site), but they slowly started kicking out foreigners as of 2008 (I got kicked out in August 2008) and now you need a Japanese cellphone to get in. |

At first glance, I thought that that person wasn't wearing any pants at all.  Goes to show you be careful of what you wear -- you never know who's going to have a camera and take a picture of you. Sadly, that image probably won't be deleted from my brain for awhile.  |

| I'm currently playing Legend of Mana on my PSP -- I just downloaded it a few days ago and my character is on Level 15 already. I've almost forgotten how much fun this game is. |

| I only check Facebook to get updates on latest game releases -- I don't post status updates on myself and haven't accepted any friend requests. I doubt I'd be all that upset if Facebook were to suddenly go poof though. |

| I'm glad to see this place is still alive and kicking. While I don't post that often anymore, I do come by often to check out the new posts. It's amazing how time flies -- it will be 10 years that I first signed up on Acmlm's Board. I'm also glad to see a lot of the 2-digiters (user ids) still posting here. |

| The closest casino to me is Twin River in Rhode Island, but I go to the ones in Connecticut which is a bit farther but a whole lot better and better selection of games. It's a good thing that these are about 3 hours' drive away -- not that I would be going there every week if they were closer, just the idea of sitting in the car for 3 hours would be tiring, especially if the trip winds up being a "crash-and-burn" trip. Oh well, I really only go there to have fun and not with the expectation of coming out ahead. | |||

| Not sure what brought me here again, but I was thinking about various things in the past, and this board came to mind, wondering if it still existed. To my amazement, it's still here. A lot of things have happened to me over the past 18 months, moving to another place, getting better at Japanese, studying hard. But as I am staring at the computer screen researching different things, I found myself looking up different places that I had been to before and don't visit anymore. Since I don't have my website and board anymore (too busy to maintain it), I never thought about those places. But here I am, and I might stop by from time to time. I hope everyone is doing well here, glad to see Xeo, Rogue and Elara still posting strong here. Hope to see you guys around. | |||

| Xeo: No, I haven't actually lived in Japan, just the few short trips so far. I'm planning on going back next year for a few weeks. Japanese is probably going to be it for me, as I don't really have any interest in studying another language. I can probably read about 1100 characters now and can carry a decent conversation, but I still have a long way to go.
Rogue: Yeah, it seems Korean Dramas have been growing in popularity lately. The owner of the site that I help mod is currently studying Korean and making frequent trips to Korea.
