| A few fast food restaurants are trying to find new ways to get more customers, one restaurant is even giving away free food -- well, sort of.
Namely, McDonald's is coming out with a new chicken sandwich for lunch and chicken biscuit for breakfast. You get to try one for free when you buy a medium or large drink. Heck, I'd get one just to try it out. Taco Bell is supposedly going to introduce a value menu that will have items for 79 cents, 99 cents, and $1.09. I don't go to Taco Bell that often, but I'm curious to see what they'll put on their menus. Have you guys seen this or tried that "new" chicken sandwich?

Reading this thread for some reason is giving me a little sick feeling in my stomach as this just about the exact same thing that I experienced on NFF.  Only difference here is that you still have your loyal members. But anyway, I don't blame you for being upset -- I hope you resolve the domain issue soon.  |

| I think the combo price for that chicken sandwich is like $5.09 or something. The sandwich itself is $2.49 I believe. Is it really much different from the McChicken sandwich on the dollar menu or is it supposed to be a much thicker patty? | |||

What, fast food being the reason the US is getting more and more obese? Well, no one is forcing people to go into those restaurants and wolf down 10 cheeseburgers in 5 minutes (not saying that happens, just an example  ). Even though there is a McDonalds about 10 minutes from my house, I go there maybe one a month (sometimes not for 2 or 3 months) -- mostly for breakfast and to get their Snack Wraps. | It was $4.01 here a few days ago, but that only lasted a day and has since dropped a whopping 4 cents to $3.97 as of yesterday. The economy is very fragile right now -- I'm curious to see what's going to happen Monday when the markets open. As of right now stocks are down almost 200 points and oil is up to 144.84. | |||

I have a question on the sidebars -- is that only going to be available to the staffers? If so, that is a good thing. I've seen the way they are done on Jul, and they are very well done there. If you're going open that up to regular members, I suggest strict guidelines so that they are not eyesoaring . . .  |

Haha, really? There's no one else here that is older than me?  Rogue, that's okay -- you remembered, that's all that matters.
I went to Saratoga Race Track with a friend -- didn't win anything, but it was interesting seeing a lot of people dumping hundreds of dollars into each race. There's a lot of publicity that goes into those races, it's amazing. But yeah, it was a good day. Thanks for the thread guys. |

| Haha, I know what this is about -- it only took me a couple of seconds to figure it out when Xeo started counting down. I was going to set up some sort of "countdown" for this in my profile, but haven't come up with anything solid. Looks like Valhalla knows what the numbers mean too, haha. | The highest post count I have had on ANY forum was on the original Acmlm's when I accumulated over 2500 posts in less than a year -- now I don't have even 10 percent of that, lol. I'm glad to see so many people here have high post counts, I'm amazed that Xeo has so many dedicated members. |

| I'm playing Star Ocean 2 on the PSP. I didn't play it much when I first purchased it, but now I have about 16 hours accrued thus far. Since I have played it so many times now, I am trying something new. I am trying to recruit the least amount of party members so it just Rena and Claude. Right now, Claude is at Level 86 and Rena is at 50 just before going to Nede. | |||

| It's amazing on how time has passed since I started posting at any message board -- around the time I started learning Japanese is when I started posting at ABs. Right now I'm using a wide-screen 15" flat screen. When I went from using my CRT monitor to this screen, I felt then that a whole new world opened up to me since I was able to see more things. But man, 22" is huge.  (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 05-27-10 10:15 PM) |
