For three years now I have been hosting this board and paying for it (well, using my own webspace too) and I do not regret it. I never asked for money, because I didn't need it.

However, my hosting plan ends in november. Now, as some of you may know, I'm an university student. It also happens that I get my bill for the current semester around that time. In this kind of situation, it's easy to see what I priorize.

Let's face it: during the semester I work about 15 hours a week. The $120 for a year (or $210 for two) is at least a week of pay. I know you guys aren't stupid, you can probably guess what I'm going to say.

Right. Donations. I didn't think I'd ask for that, but shit happens.

Basically, I'm going to put this button at the bottom of the pages: (you can click it here too. Button is subject to change).

Now, do not fear. This does not go to my paypal account (basically, I'll never touch the money). Dreamhost is good enough to set up a donation service that goes directly in the account balance. So, any donations made with that button goes directly towards hosting.

Now. What do you get for donating? I'm afraid I can't offer much. However, I can host you if you want. We have unlimited bandwitdh and space (well, kinda) so this won't make the bill grow. The only thing we don't have is the right to abuse CPU time, basically. With that, you can use any subdomain of a domain I own (which isn't much, as I forgot to renew disgaea.net, go me), that is darkslaya.com or xeogaming.net (or a proper domain which is $10 a year).

EDIT: if you do donate, please remember that small ammounts (i.e: $1) get raped by paypal fees.
