But I agree with Cairoi and Katana. I would like to elaborate mor on crime, as that seems to be your biggest point here, Vince. This kind of society would not get rid of crime in the least bit. You don't even have to bother looking back through history, it's happening right now. We try to suppress terrorists in Iraq. What do they do? Revolt. They hide, they murder, and they won't listen. While it is true that they are terrorists, and therefore considered criminals in the first place, everyone has that capability. If you try to cage a wild bull that doesn't care to be caged, expect a fight. Same goes for humans. Humans are still animals, and instinct will take over. They will fight for their freedom. So, there would be suppression and revolt, and each would just make the other worse until it was a war. Revolters would act as assassins, in a way, by hiding and using no technology to communicate. How can you track them if you don't know who they are and what they're doing? Of course, I'm pushing this a bit. Mainly, crime would not, and will never, go away. If this type of government existed, your child/ family would be less safe. In todays society, you can mostly spot a criminal. If the revolt happened, every single person around you may be involved in taking down the government, or getting rid of revolters. There would be no neutral. |

| Alastor cursed as Sorcha's foot moved out of the way--and then her quarterstaff hit him in the chest. He flew back, rolling across the ground away from his abandoned sword, the green energy still crackling along its blade as it waited for the taste of blood.
Alastor continued his roll until he was well out of the way of a follow up attack, and crouching in a defensive position. His sternum was definitely bruised, but he didn't know how bad it was without checking. Keeping an eye on Sorcha, he started thinking ahead, charging black energy along with the red over his right fist, the left simply clutching at the dirt below him. He was ready. |

The person with the most points at the end of the month wins! So start posting, and post a lot!!! This time around, I may be giving out awards or trophies of a sort, so get going!!!
Also, maybe we can bring back the 'Shred' thing DarkSlaya started a while ago. Make your name "Shred(er) Something", and start shredding!! Try not to spam, but post everywhere and anywhere. Maybe...

| The afternoon light shone intensely as it glittered off the glass of the skyscrapers, making it appear as though diamonds were coating the city. The ground below was a different story, littered with debris and filth.
It was from here that Phoenix came from, stepping out from an alleyway twenty yards in front of Keven. He preferred to use his wings only when necessary. He wore a white t-shirt and a pair of bluejeans today, trying to blend in with his surroundings as to not startle the fragile humans. Not that there are any here, he thought. His brown hair blew in the breeze, and his muscles tensed and relaxed several times before speaking. "I hear you are looking for me. What brings you here?" While his appearance was that of a young adult, Phoenix spoke with the wisdom of an elder. |

BIC: Phoenix was about to answer when he saw the handgun pulled. He jumped out of the way, ducking and spinning to his left until he was crouching on one knee. As he was spinning, a cloud ash suddenly appeared from nowhere, expanding quickly to cover the street and stretching towards Kevin. The ash made visibility extremely difficult, even for Phoenix. But he was't the one with a gun, and he could easily breath in the ash, while Kevin could not. Phoenix stayed where he was, hiding within the cloud where Kevin could not see him. Soon, it would cover the entire street. Phoenix sat waiting for his opponents next move, considering his options. He listened for another gunshot, or even the crunch of gravel. If Kevin wanted a fight, it was a fight he was going to get. |

| As Phoenix sat, a blue blast of ice suddenly flew past him, but several meters to his right. The ash was working, but he heard Kevin retreating. Not about to stop, Phoenix moved the ash after Kevin in a hurry, but expelled more in the area he was crouched in. He slowly stood, a longsword appearing in his hand from nowhere, the hilt fashioned to resemble the majesty of a phoenix, his true form.
Phoenix carefully proceeded forward in a careful pace, listening to Kevin's attempt at fleeing. He was ready now. |

| Phoenix heard the gunshot and the shattering of glass. He slowed down, hesitant as to what Kevin had in mind. Then, out of nowhere, the man emerged from the ashes with a mask of some sort over his head.
Hm. He's quite resourceful, thought Phoenix. But then Kevin fired the gunshot, and Phoenix reacted with supernatural speed. He brought up his sword and deflected the bullet with the flat side of the blade. While a normal sword would surely take damage from this, Phoenix's was infused with Dreamworld magic. This sword was his primary weapon, and past memories show great deeds being done with this very blade. With his left hand, Phoenix used fire for the first time in this battle. A cone of flames shot from his hand, aimed directly at the gunslinger. While doing this, Phoenix concentrated on the ash, ready to use it if need be. |

| Phoenix blocked quickly with his sword, deflecting the blow directed at his hand. He ceased the fire, and sent a horizontal slash toward the machinery on his adversary's head. If it connected, the machine would surely be broken, but if Kevin dodged, Phoenix was ready.
While swinging, Phoenix moved some of the ash in the immediate area onto the handle of his opponent's sword, hoping to get in between hand and hilt, making the sword near impossible to grip. |
