If I had to list my personal favorites;
Tekken, virtua fighter, Soul Caliber.
Mortal Kombat is waaaaaay over rated, they've been selling the same game with a different name to you for the last 6 years.
DBZBT2 was great, but I found I got bored of it way to quick, and the learing curve on any any system was about 2 minutes for it.

And it has happened to me before. You just learn to ignore them or, if you can't handle them, just leave. I personally like Crono cross/trigger, they freakin' rocked my socks off!

Kay, were I live, you wouldn't have to worry about summer heat. It generally doesn't go past 21 degrees celcius during summer.
