| Dalit blinked back into his regular state of mind. He cocked his head to the side, thinking hard about where his mother could be.
"I think she's...oh wait! I know! She's probably back in her room! I can take you to her, but I dunno is she really wants to talk to anyone right now." He stood up, waiting for Jack to stand and follow his lead. A smile painted his whole face, lighting it up. |

| Dalit gave Jack the most confused face any five-year-old could muster. He had no idea what he meant by "I'll make you as strong physically as you are mentally", but at least it sounded good. When his mother walked over to where they were standing, his facial expression changed completely. He gave her a wide smile. The smile faded as he heard what she said.
He cocked his head to the side again and asked, "What's a birthday?" |

| Andrea looked over at Kara, knowing that she was supposed to be a speciallist in the medical field.
"Are you going to take care of him, or stand here and look at him?" Her voice was a bit cold, but she needed to kick-start this girl in the direction of war. Wounds were something that she would constantly see. "The truth...? You're asking for a bit much there, they never told us what exactly happened to the people in the radiation...nor the animals that were around. So, if you want a "truth" go ask a commander." |

"I want you and everyone else to be there. As long as everyone's there I'll be happy!" The little boy stopped in the middle of the hallway. His eyes averted from his mother to the ground as he just stood. Their hands broke apart, and suddenly he seemed to regress back into his depressed state. "I wish...I wish Aldis could be there..." |

I entered this contest recently, it was one that involved creating a character. So I created this one. I had to make a bio for him as well. So tell me what you think!
This is the front and side-ish view. 
This is the environment Past: Davin Tiergan comes from a long line of elven warriors. He began his life in the same way most of his ancestors did (training in the elements of archery and other forms of fighting). At a young age he found that violence disgusted him. So he spent most of his childhood learning the Art of Song (the ability to coax animals into submission) along with his training. As he excelled in this Art, his father began to worry. But there was no true evidence of failure in his son, so Davin continued to grow. In the land of Aisling, elvish children reach the age of maturity at 100. Most are given tests then sent off to do certain jobs, but the Tiergans have a different form of judging their children. They are forced into a brutal test of power, and Davin's test was to slay 100 beasts. However, Davin was rather clever and sang the beasts to sleep (since he despises violence). His father was completely outraged and beat Davin in a drunken rage. He told his son that he would kill each of those beasts the next day. With the smile of a liar, Davin agreed. That night, the young elf took his bow and quiver and left the land of Aisling. Knowing that this would make him an enemy of his land (it is forbidden to leave Aisling, if caught prisoners are forced into the life of a slave – Davin is very lazy) he ran. Davin's journey brought him to the woods of Andal outside the mountains of Perdoa. Here he accidentally shot a large Tahmore in the eye. This beast angrily chased him for three days (not even his Song could calm it) until it finally dropped in an exhausted state. As a peace treaty, Davin shot a dear and brought a meal back to it. The beast made a pact with him: since Davin had blinded its eye, he would bring the Tahmore food, the Tahmore would provide Davin with transportation. Present: As Davin travels he comes upon travelers. Most are in distress, so he happily lends a hand (though he hates strenuous activities, he absolutely despises seeing someone in distress). After he helps the travelers he gives them advice to stay away from the land of Aisling. Then as one final request, he tells them to never talk about him – even though he never tells a traveler his name, he doesn't want to take any chances someone from Aisling will find him. | Dalit gave a bit of a sigh. The boy made no effort to hug his mom back. He wasn't happy, but he wasn't necissarily sad either. The emotion was something of an in-between. He knew that Aldis wouldn't like him crying (and he didn't like crying either) but he didn't want to smile. And when he smiled to his mom, he always felt guilty afterwards. Like he was telling her a lie just so she wouldn't bother him.
He looked up into his mother's green eyes. They were like comforting, calming pools of deep emerald. For a moment, he forgot exactly what it was his troubles were and felt at peace. Dalit wrapped his arms around his mom and hugged her as tightly as he could. The little boy began to cry, but these tears were different. Dalit's face was painted with a large grin,.and there was no lie behind this one. His head was burried in his mom's breast as he told her through muffled sobs, "I love you...." |

 YAY! That's a good thing, at least he's looking for you. That means that he might not be one of those parents who just randomly give up their kids. I hope all goes well for you.

| Spartan...you have to remember that people on this board have the same religion. I know that you're upset about this whole thing, but please try to be a bit more understanding to everyone else.
And Zabuza has a point. Just take it until you're old enough to say, "No" and be viewed as an adult. A lot of the time, Christian parents (not all of them) aren't understanding to what their children want. My mom had parents who were preachers, and she's not Christian... Yes, it's being forced on you and I understand why you're mad and pissed at them for doing so. I'm not going to say that they'll listen to you, because they most likely won't...but I mean...at least they care enough to attempt to save you from that hell that may or may not exist. And when you are old enough to say "No, I don't like this and I want no part" expect for your parents to dislike your opinion and don't expect them to be very understanding. If you want to be of a different religion, or have no religion, you have to make sacrifices... Or you can be like my family and just not talk about religion.  That one works too. |

BIC: Ariya gave Lina an apologetic expression. "Go down to the room on your left and tell them that you need your ID upgrade, they should more than happily do it for you. I'll be down there in 15 minutes to help you out with the information. But for now, I have something to take care of." She rushed behind Jobes into the room with Chris. For a few moments she listened to what Chris said, thinking hard on who exactly in the research department would leak any information on anyone. "If at all possible, do this as quietly as possible. I don't want people knowing about these leaks. It's bad enough that Kiera was found out and almost everyone knows about her. We need this opperation clean, just like the Johnson case. Only mind prob anyone who goes in and out of the research lab and do it when they're asleep." Ariya tapped her chin in concentration. "Run as many scans on your computer as possible. There's no way a hacker could get in and NOT leave some form of a trace. Is there anything else?" Catrin heard Cyro's questions behind her. She didn't bother to answer them, only continued running as fast as her feet would carry her. Her legs sprang, moving her from one place to the next with great agility. "Don't worry about that now! Just worry about your life and mine!" She ran behind a few walls, making sure that the pair were well hidden. Catrin turned to Cyro and pushed a clip onto his chest. Her hands shook as she applied the same clip onto herself. With a push of a button, the pair disappeared from all scanners and sight. Though her body wanted to collapse, she knew she had no choice but to continue running. Her hand clasped Cyro's wrist a second time and the pair made their way into a more populated part of the city, where it would tracking by scanner would be difficult. Catrin also knew that FEH may not have much priority over the lives of its soldiers, but that civilian casulties were out lawed. "We should be safe soon..." |

Her hand grasped Kara's wrist and ran as fast as she could. Andrea: "Whatever you do, don't slow down...don't stop...and don't look at them." Kara nodded her head briefly as the pair ran, Andrea forcing her to rush. Kara: "What's going on?" She tried not to yell as she spoke to Andrea. Andrea: "They're coming after us. We've invaded their turf...and they don't take kindly to that sort of thing." When she heard Jack mention blowing them up, she was glad that James responded first. Andrea: "He's right. The smell of their own dead and the explosion will cause a massive uprising...and we won't have a chance. The best thing to do is to run as fast and as far as we can." |

| I haven't really been to willing to post in this part of our forum for a while, but being as people are gone, I figure I can make a post without people tearing it apart.
My mom is in bed, bleeding to freaking death (her periods are getting worse) and before this great event where I woke up to my father calling me and saying, "Go check on your mom," he left for Crestview to visit his parents. He's supposed to be back tomorrow...but mom told him to stay down there. I don't know why, but things between my parents have become extremely hectic, and it's hard to stay in the house when they're constantly fighting, or mom's telling me about how much she's mad at my dad. So last night I went out...and came home at 12:30 and her door was locked. I was depressed and upset, but eventually got over it and went to sleep around 3. My dad called and woke me up at 9/8:30, wanting me to check up on mom. I went to go check up on her and found her sleeping soundly (or what I thought was soundly). I woke her up and asked her if she was feeling better to find out that she apparently bleed all over the place and had to clean it up. She said that she needed to go to the doctor, so I woke up Gabby (who'd stayed the night because she'd gotten sick due to HER peroid the prior night) and Sarah. I told dad that she wanted me to drive his truck to the doctor. He said that was fine and to be careful. Gabby left, I told her good bye, and went back to my mom's room where she was still in pain. I don't want any part in this arguement between my parents, but I tend to try and help EVERYONE with their problems...including my mom and dad. I have a feeling that when dad comes home from Florida there's going to be a big fight...which sucks for me. It's hard to handle all of this when I'm 16 and haven't even made it out of highschool. I feel like running away, however, I've never been one to run from my problems...I usually just hit them face on. But I'm tired of this fighting and tired of this yelling...I'm sure eventually it'll work itself out. -Kristen |
