| My newest character, I've really started to like using him, so expect to see him more often in fights than old Cairoi.
Name: Clash the Bandit Real Name: Takezo Aritada Age: 26 Race: Human/Soulgate Sex: Male Universe: Etharia Description: He wore a loose but small amber toga-like garment that was kept tightly in check underneath the man's light and form fitting khaki pants. The toga had strange white markings on the shirt, an insignia of a falcon on the back. The man had strange scars on his visible shoulder, evidence he had seen battle once. Hanging off his waist was a longsword sheathed in an intricate mesh of different levels of tanned leather. This man had a devilish grin on his face, stubble forming on his chin, medium length shaggy blond hair on his head, and a look in his hazel eyes that told you he had seen the world. History: Clash was once a member of the Watchman Order, the group responsible for protecting the Etharia Gate. He served along the ranks of Cairoi Alester, when he was naught but a recruit, maintaining the balance and upkeep of the gate that separated Dark World from Light World. After the Apocalypse demon broke the barriers and attacked, the (weakened) Watchmen fought to contain the amount of demons escaping into Light World for weeks, until Cairoi and the good demons Xeios and Draegonis defeated the demon Armageddon and resealed the Etharia Gate. After that, the Watchman Order decided to indict a few of its members into a top secret magical experiment known as Soulgate. They chose people who had little to live for, and Clash was a prime candidate. He had faught almost to death during the Armageddon attack, and he was in an extremely poor state of health. Somehow, he was the only to survive Phase One, which was a temporary ejection of the soul from the body. After that, they linked Clash's soul lengthily to the force of a Dimension Gate, giving him the power to sift through dimensions. After it was reinserted, Clash came "back" to life. But he was a changed man. The dedicated soldier now saw things in a different light. The man still believed he faught for justice, but he saw law as an accessory of justice. Law, he believed, should be sidestepped if justice will be served greatly. And so, after recovering fully from his operation, he set out as other Watchmen did and scoured the earth for remaining demons. On his travels, he came to take a temporary position as knight of a small king. He did his duty until he became aware of the king's dark dealings, including allowing crime lords to prevail and murders and rapes to continue. He took it upon himself to restore justice, and slayed the king in cold blood. The world turned against him. Abandoned by the Order, and hunted by the king's army and a never ending supply of bounty hunters, he searches for ways to continue to fufill the justice he believes is right. Powers: Clash's main powers lay in that of energy manipulation. He has developed several different techniques for controlling it. Energy Contact Aura- An aura he has learned to harness that enables him to hold, feel, and shape magical energy as though it were clay. Hurricane Orb- A powerful magical storm that sucks up energy and pulls it into the Energy Dimension, negating it in this dimension. Dimension Point- An incredibly small orb rift Clash creates, harmless to the touch, that he uses to connect to the Energy Dimension with. He can use this for various purposes. | "Yeah, yeah." Said the voice behind Kyo, mirroring the carefree attitude Kyo exhibited. The voice belonged to Cairoi Alester, a man of legend. Not too recently, he had reentered the fighting world unheralded, but now all the fighters of the world had his name on their lips. A power that seemed to transverse time and space.
Cairoi was here to see just how tough this man was. Clothed in a black t-shirt and darkened blue jeans, he stood several feet behind Kyo, fists clenched. "Come, let's see how strong you are." |

| Ken cursed, sweat pouring down his face. The passage seemed to stretch on forever, as though each fleeting second spent running got him no closer to freedom. There were millions of these damn creatures. They kept pouring from the cliffs and with each attack the group made, more filled the gap. Ken, purposely lagging in the back to protect the others, had been forced to punch and kick several of these things already. He looked past the group and saw a figure, clad in a heavy armor, approaching. He seemed to be passing through what appeared to be incredibly hot air, bending and wavy. The armor-clad warrior carried in his hand a golden spear and a large, thick shield made of stone. He ran up, calling out in a bold, commanding voice.
"Friends, turn and fight! Show no fear, show no weakness!" He dashed past Vincent, the others, and joined Ken in the back. He flung his spear out and skewered five of the beasts. He fought like a demon, pushing back the seemingly endless wave of beasts. Ken, impressed and thankful for this man's colossal assistance, took his words well. "Come, friends! You heard the man! Fight for your lives!" He charged his body with electricity and moved incredibly fast, blowing the creatures back with his power. The fighting seemed to continue for hours, though it were only minutes. Ken's blood was screaming as he dashed through the ranks, swinging his fists with inhuman strength and speed. He saw the rest of the group fighting back as well, and with a passion only the threat of death could muster, the creatures grew afraid of the group and scattered, leaving nothing but their dead and remains behind. Ken, attempting to catch his breath, sat against a cliff side, stained lightly with black blood. He looked over at the armor clad man, who seemed unfatigued by the fighting. "Well, it seems we owe your our lives. Your combat knowledge saved us." The armor clad man looked over, giving a thumbs up. "No thanks needed, mate. The name's Xanath. I make my living helping people cross the Badlands alive. It's what I do." Ken rose, shaking the man's hand. "It is indeed fate's will we met, then. Is there any chance we can enlist your help? We have a straggler here we met coming down the same way as you." To that, the man scratched the back of his helmet, looking at her. "That's odd I didn't see her before I entered the passage. But yes, that is fine. I'll see you through your way through here." Xanath turned to the end of the passage, motioning for the rest of the group. "Come, let us leave now, lest the beasts come back in greater number." |

| Cairoi smiled, taking a stance as well. His hands began to glow a simple, clear aura, but it meant his powerful Cross Scars had been activated. He smiled, slipping his jacket off while his eyes, inhuman and excited, scanned his opponent.
"Alright, then." As his jacket fell to the ground with a large thump due to the weights, Cairoi dashed forward , as fast as a cricket's leap, throwing three incredibly hard punches at his opponent, hoping to knock him off balance and push him closer towards the cliff. |

I was once the Chrono Cross Otaku, but I've lost that knowledge. I'm going to gain it back again, though. I dunno, really, in later days I've become much more of a causal gamer than I used to be. |

| See, I've been raised in a Christian home taught that all murder is wrong. So isn't God far more evil than Satan by these ethics?
Look, in my opinion I think the Old and New Testament need to be made into different things. People can be like "God is a caring and nice God" which he was in the New Testament, but then be like "Gays are wrong" which is the dick weed Old Testament God who killed people solely to test the faith of people. Don't confuse the ethics of the Gods, because while they have the same name, I don't believe them to be the same character. EDIT: Oh, and I think that when people say "Don't take the Lord's name in vain" is about the name God, I laugh my ass off. That law is in reference to God's actual name Yahweh (sp?). | Cairoi, having noticed that his opponent used a learned fighting style, and as such, his moves were incredibly linear. He deftly dodged the three punches with side steps and torso leans. When it came time for the three kicks, Cairoi couldn't be more ready. After moving to the side of the first kick, he used his left forearm to hit Kyo's ankle and throw that leg aside. The next kick came and Cairoi moved forward, attempting to grab the leg. Kyo didn't have much of a chance of dodging this, as Cairoi's speed was incredible and he was not even inches away. Following up the attempted leg grab to throw him off balance, he pulled his head back, and with a roar, launched a headbutt at Kyo's chest hard enough to crack ribs. If it hit, it would certainly take the air out of Kyo's lungs. If the leg grab had worked, and the headbutt, Kyo would be down on the ground with an incredible chest pain. Seemed Kyo wasn't the only one with a deadly fighting style. | |||

| Sparda, what I meant is that I think Old Testament is more Jewish, New Testament is Christian. My personal opinion is that Catholic and Christian doctorine really shouldn't be based off of Old Testament because it's not from Jesus.
I have trouble with people that use specific personal selections of the Bible to benefit their own needs. Like, they'll tell you all there is to tell about God's kindness, and how how the Old Testament says homosexuality is wrong, but they'll never talk about how God destroyed a city and flooded the entire world simply based on his decision. Look, I'm not trying to offend, but I have a lot of problems with a lot of religions, pretty much all of them. I feel like a lot of the time they feel like stories I'm supposed to die for, and I think that's stupid. I love the people that take kind things from the Bible, don't discriminate, and are all around cool. I have quite a few friends like that and I never feel uncomfortable being around them. But the zealots that kill and punish in the name of religon do not sit well with me. You seem them in pretty much every religon, and they taint names like God and Alah for me. People kill in those names. That's what bothers me. |

| I'm pretty much with Logos on this one. I don't think they should be arrested at all! I think they should be sent to counseling, they should be put in detention and talked to,
But arrested?! Seriously, there's people that get away completly free from punching someone in the face, just sent out of school, but some kids had sex and they're being sent to Juvie?! That's so harsh! |

| Cairoi was put into an uncomfortable position, to be sure. Thrown off balance and pushed down by Kyo's creative defense, Cairoi slammed his hands down to the ground to catch himself. He knew just what to do. Calling upon Blue Cross Scar energy, he created a shockwave from his hands, and with deft footwork, had an incredibly hard elbow at Kyo's back for him. If needed, Cairoi could respond by launching another shockwave out of his hands, giving him good turning and acceleration. | |||

| Cairoi twirled around and took a stance, smiling. He backed up several feet, his hands blowing softly in the wind. He seemed to be a statue, made fluid by the gales and tempests of nature. His eyes seemed to gleam as he stook a step forward and pointed his hand at his foe.
"That's it! This is what I live for! If you're going your all, well then expect Cairoi Alester, wielder of the Cross Blood style, not to pull any punches as well!" |

Cairoi released a Charge Seal, and using the energy inherit with its release, was quick enough to block with his forearms and back up. His arms felt on fire, but it was nothing he hadn't felt before. He saw an oppurtunity to strike, and he knew he'd have to take it. He activated his Blue Cross Scar once more, and released a powerful field of energy, though it did no damage. It was like being hit by a boulder, and it would send Kyo flying. It would also give Cairoi the opportunity to enact one of his new endmoves, Blood Burst. Energy seemed to flow from Cairoi's body after the shockwave attack. He was pouring quite a bit into this attack, so it seemed. |

| The small break was all Cairoi needed. He used his Terramorphus ability to lift a wall of earth and stone from the ground a second after he saw how the shockwave affected his foe. As the attack would have continued, Cairoi backed up far, throwing up more and more earth to keep his opponent occupied while energy siphoned into his fists. His attack was nearly ready, so it seemed. All he needed was about two more seconds... | |||

Cairoi dashed forward, flying above the ground, both palms extended. His hands coursing with mana and Cross Blood, he knew now was his chance. He launched both his hands at Kyo's chest at a speed beyond that of most mortal men. They were filled with a reactant Burst Cross Scar energy, which agitates the mana flow in a normal person and flows to the point of impact and causes it to physically burst open, damaging the opponent's physical and magical form greatly. These two attacks would hit hard if they did, and would cause muscle damage and blood loss, but it was not a fatal shot, Cairoi ensured it. A second after the attacks should hit (as they are almost ensured, noting the position of his opponent) the spinning tornado kick hit dead on. Cairoi, hit square in the chest, is thrown to the side, hitting the ground tough. He rolled around a moment until the momentum was gone, and slowly rose to inspect the damage he had caused. Had it worked? |

| The second part of Cairoi's endmove was about to activate. Clenching his hands into fists, he flexed his chest muscles and took the kick dead on. Beginning to fall down from the force, he slammed his fists into the ankle of his opponent, releasing the breath he had held in to ensure he could pull it off. His hands still contained half the charged energy from the attack, and seeing as how this attack was almost assured (no time to dodge, no way to see it coming), it would burst open the blood vessels in the foot, for a while crippling his opponent. Immediately after the punch, the force of the kick really set in, throwing him down onto the ground. This guy sure could kick. | |||

Cairoi had no way to block or counter, so he tried what he could. He rolled out of the way, barely dodging the kick. He continued to roll for a few seconds before turning a roll into a maneuver allowing him to stand. He cursed, his body shining with pain. "Man, you're tough! You're giving me hope for the future of fighting." Cairoi had a gleam in his eyes that perfectly mirrored his position: An ageless man staring at the unbridled strength of youth. "Alright, let's keep going! This is really starting to get my blood pumping." |

As the group walked, Ken felt his forearm ache. He looked to see a small marking, like a bite mark. One of those damn beasts must have bit him or something, but he was sure they had no poison in them. He felt a little weird, but he shrugged it off as a psychological aftereffect of looking at the bite wound. He looked out to the path, wondering what was ahead of the group, completly oblivious of the pale and sickly form watching the groups from the shadows, counting down the moments till their demise... After an hour of walking, Ken looked around. "Where the fuck are we? I feel like we're lost." Xanath scanned the area, sighing. "Surprisingly, this area seems unfamiliar to me. I see a landmark in the horizon, but I know it to be one of a warning mark of Kamu territory. We would either be walking out of or further into Kamu territory, meaning we are in certain danger." |
