| John Mark followed silently behind Elara, his right hand clenched almost into a fist. He tried not to call attention to himself, walking as nonchalantly as possible and wondering what the others were doing. In his mind, memories of the death and chaos wraught by the Aztec Shadow God. He was almost entirely sure the saftey shelter wouldn't last much longer, he direly hoped they would kill the Shadow God soon....
His stream of thought was interrupted by the sound of air slowly contracting and quickly releasing. His eyes jolted upwards as he saw a figure stand before them, clad in all black. In an instant, he recognized him...This was the leader of the other Croma users, but that group wanted to facilitate the deaths of non-Croma users as a sort of genocide. They had fought on more than one occasion. But Chad looked different for some reason. Beneath his shaggy, medium length blond hair, his eyes were radically different. Instead of the hazel eyes he normally wore, his eyes were completly covered with a purple mist. He must've been possesed, John quickly came to the conclusion. As John stepped up, clenching his right fist and getting ready to summon his sword, Chad spoke, throwing him off balance. "Hello, all. Name's Chad, but I'm here representing the master of the island, the Tarot. The Tarot would like you all to know that he has given you another chance. Most all of you were pulled here at the brink of death, and you are healed of all wounds and left confused. Allow me to explain. You were placed here on Ember Island. There is no bridge or boat to enable you to leave the island. If you can manage to scale the planet, reach the top of the Tarot's epic tower, he will return you to your world. However, to spice things up, he wants to watch you all pitted against foes. Such as me." In a second, Chad's possesed eyes flashed and returned to normal. He looked at them horrificaly confused, and backed up a few inches. "John...I see you have new friends." He stuck his hand out and summoned shadow beasts. His Croma power was mimicry, and he even had a weaker form of John's Croma sword. John spoke up as he ran in front, summoning an amazing, brilliant sword made of a yellowish energy. "If you have any weapons of magical background, get them out. If not, hide yourself." |

| Well, Cairoi here with a new way to clean up the Simbattle Arena. Instead of posting an open challenge up there, where it may possibly rust away into nothingness, just post an open challenge here in this thread. If one wants to accept your challenge, they must PM you. This is a substitute for just posting an open battle, though it is still perfectly fine for you to do so. Just an idea I had that might help open battles be a little more scripted.
RULES FOR THE THREAD: 1.Do not reply to a challenge in the thread. PM the owner of the challenge. 2. Post any alterations to the rules with the challenge, unless the two of you come up with it in your discussions. 3. If your challenge is accepted, edit your post to show it has been. 4. I'm FUCKING sick of hearing people babble on about Final Fantasty VII is better then all the rest, especially for shit reasons. I appreaciate intelligent reasons, not anything this fucker could come up with. I love all the Final Fantasy games, and if you're intelligent enough to understand the plot of X, I commend you. But this fucking douchewad needs his fingers cut off. For future reference, my favorite Final Fantasy is 8. But I really liked 10, it was amazing. It was a dreary day, and I, as the toddler traveler, was cavorting about in my home establishment, at the tender age of 1. I looked at my maternal unit and spoke with a voice that would shake the countryside. "Mother, get me a danish." In reality, I said "Mamma", but to this day my mother understood the symbolism behind my edict. I was rewarded with a shower of affection, as my mother forgot I in fact wanted a danish. To no avail, I picked up the English language rather quickly, reading at the age of 3. I never got that Danish.  |

| First of all Spartan, religon isn't for the weakminded. I'm intelligent and I have my own view on religon that's independant yet just as strong as theirs.
You think they're being ignorant but you yourself are as well. You claim there is no God, no heaven, no hell...But do you honestly know that? I'm not saying I believe in it, but isn't it better to keep an open mind and try to take into account all sides of the religious spectrum? Getting baptised doesn't change the way you feel on the inside. By Catholic terms it removes your original sins, it doesn't make you a Christian. And honestly, I don't believe in Christianity, but I go whenever I sleep over Xeios' on a Saturday. Why? Because I respect his dad's belief in a God and am willing to show respect by attending. You don't have to believe, but showing respect to all sides mean if they're actually right, you'll be more respected. |

| I hearted this movie. I can't ruin it, but it definetly kept my attention the entire time and the ending was so mind-reeling I have trouble not seeing the next one immeaditly afterwards.
I waited to see this movie for 100 minutes of standing and or sitting. It was more than worth it. PS- (Kiera Knightlry cannot be in a bad movie. Her presence makes the film legendary ^O^) |

| Where do you guys mainly get your inspiration?
Do you draw it from those around you, from nature, from the stupidity of others, from depression, from religion? Movies, Books? Mostly, I get any inspiration from my haphazardous trains of thoughts where I'll be bestowed with an amazing thought or image that I'll elaborate on. Other times I get inspiration from listening to my friends and picking up ideas from our general conversation. And of course, movies, books, and games offer to inspire me especially after getting a heavy dosage of it. What about you guys? |

| Jack walked through the decorated hallway of the mansion. Since he'd slept, they replaced the battle wounds of the mansion with lavish decorations. This place would be remembered as a major battle point in the war, as well as more than likely the capital. This hallway disorted his memories as the one concrete wall was now the home of some stained glass. He turned around and stared down the hallway, the past and present clashing in his eyes. He saw Kiera walking towards him in a quick walk, and she was unchanged in both of the alternating visions. The world around him returned to normal as Kiera came closer, and before Jack could speak, Kiera hugged him as hard as she could. Tears were coming down her face.
"I want you to promise me, you'll never put yourself that close to death again." As she said that, she pulled her head back and looked at him in the eyes. Jack was momentarily lost in them, a smile slowly growing on his face. She was clearly upset, meaning she'd escaped the shell of gruffness she used to wear for all the world to see. "I like the idea of it, love, but I doubt my luck'll play out that way." They both laughed and smiled, the toil the two of them had suffered before completly gone from their mind. In a flash they were kissing each other's lips, and Jack's sorrow was completly lifted. His love was returned, his revenge complete. With stunning clarity, Jack knew, life was kind to those who cared. |
