im sure by now you all know about this free MMORPG that is completley online (just go to the site and you can play). Basically, you are one og hundereds, even thousands of heros in this giant world. The game is non-linear, and is very open ended, so if you like to level up and just kill things, you can do it. anyway, the graphics arent that great compared to other games that are online (such as Ragnorak), but hey, its totally free. There is alot of items to get, steal, and buy, but in the way of weapons, there are only like 6 kinds. Each one has many different types of it (like Bronze, iron, steel, admantium, mithril, 2 handed). Besides the items, there are many different cities and towns to go to. From the last thing i saw, there are about 2-3 continents, each with a multitude of places and cities to see. Also, there are places that you can kill other people openly to increase your PK stat. The places are called the Wilds, and are extremly dangerous to venture into unprepared. All in all, this is a great game to play if you dont want to pay to play a MMORPG or you just want a break from Ragnorak for a while.

For all you people who decide to play or do play, you can find me on Server 56 (under Chicago). my handle is desroth{R2K}, because i am a member of a multigame clan. Also, if you want to find me, just ask someone to take u to the wilds, i hang around there to get money and items.

oh, thanks for telling me what ore does what... and buy Runite did u mean essence of it, or is there a actual stone that u can mine for it?i dont do alot of mining and smithing, but it seems easier to do this instead of buying the actual weapon... saves money and builds ur chara, lol... anyway, are there any special perks beside the extra quests when u become a payed member? i dont really see a upside to being one... but thats just me..

OMG!!! i just saw this game, and i got to say this: I MUST HAVE IT! im selling my old Fable for this game when it comes out. Why must i buy it? well, as one of the millions who were let down, we wanted to see ALL of the things they cut of the game to begin with. FtLC has all of that cut stuff. The spell effects are stepped WAY up, the customaization and weapon armor selection is also upped to the level we should have gotten to begin with. New enemies also abound, and more ways to kill them. Augmentations make your weapons MUCH MUCH more flashier. No longer will they just sorta flash every now and then, but actually stay on. The picture of a flame augmented sword is actually totally wrapped in flames. well, what do u all think? have you seen it at all??? post what u think here.

Yeah, i also play Magic, Duel Masters, Yugioh, and Shaman King. Yeah, i may have blown over 2000 dollars, but hey, its my money! Anyway, i stopped collecting Magic before moving to Yugioh, semi stopped collecting Yugioh to go to Duel Masters, and i am now collecting Shaman King. I have to say, if you are going to play a card game based on a tv show, play DM or SK. DM is a mix of magic and yugioh, wherein all of your cards are mana. This means not worrying about drawing no lands and losing 4 turns later. Some people may call this game a rip, but it really isnt. If your tired of playin yugioh, and dont have the skills to play full blown Magic, play DM. You wont be sorry (also, you can get the really rare cards fast. if you buy 5 packs, you may get 3-4 super rare cards )

The other TCG im actively playing is SK. This game is based on how much luck you have, how good your deck building is, and how tactical you are. You start with 2 card in a green, yello, and red zone (your mana). Your green zone always recharges (another card added to it), but the other zones wait until your opponent stops your attack in that zone (IE: say you attack, its his turn and he charges his green zone. He then flips a card of his deck into the green attack zone. he cant stop your attack with the current card, so he can place it in his green mana zone. He then flips to the yellow attack zone. now he can block your attack, and it come back to you. you clean away the cards from your last turn (like your attack), and charge your green and yellow zone.) okay, none of that would make sense unless you were actually playing the game. The whole point of the game is to score points on your opponent. you score a point when your opponent cant block your attack in his red zone. score 3 and you win. you also have your shaman card. he has only 2 attacks, but you cant activate them until all 3 of your zones are charged at one time. these attacks are usually the most powerful attack you will play the entire game. also, all cards in your deck are influnenced by the shaman. the shaman can only use 4 types of cards (non-style cards, flame, heart, light, etc). The shaman has 3 symbols on the bottom of the card, and these symbols appear on all other cards. You can only have those types of cards in your deck. This adds a huge strategy element, because some shaman decks will be weaker against other shamans. in all, this game is just plain cool. it would be worth picking up because it is some thing brand new and kinda cool to play. though it is almost all luck, i like it. no more 2 turn deaths common in Yugioh and Magic. on a final note, there are no more deck outs. when u have no more deck cards, you memorize how much mana u have, and shuffle mana and discard together, and play out the mana you had. you keep playing until all 3 points are scored. sorry for this long post, im just really into TCG, if i bought em, i wanna play em.

Runescape 2 is so much better, its the one u can play now. everytihing is so much more updated, and the animations are smooth... for what u said Forgotten, yeah, it gets kinda boring if u play to long, but it is still fun to play in small burst of time... if any of u are online and play, ill make u some iron stuffs for free if u want it.

well, it is more about tactic and luck. I mean, you got to think your plays out alot, u dont just wanna through all your mana away in one turn unless you have to. you have to be smart and think about each move. sometimes i mess up and play cards that decrease me blocking power, and Beowulf scores a point on me im so stupid, lol.... also, i second Beowulfs motion that DM isnt a rip off. it is so much better then yugioh and magic. you always have mana to play, and it doesnt take as long to beat your opponent either (5 shields plus 1 hp=quicker gameplay and victory, though not as fast as yugioh.) i like the fact DM doesnt have one hit kill monsters...

lol, this is so funny. especially the dubs... who has ever heard of southern sounding japanese people??? anyway, i watched the first episode, and it was so funny! When they get into the RPG world, and the girl buys a simple medalion for all the gold they have, then when they get into a fight with a storm element enemy, he tries to use it as a magical weapon and winds up getting killed in one blast. besides the hilarity of the characters, the fighting system is funny. A little flying pixie/bird/creature holds up a little board with the stats and all options for the battle. besides being odd and off the wall all the time, its a pretty good series

Well well well, this sounds very unique and interesting, i think i will take this on!!! I will use a adapted Kimimaro im using on a different board for this, he seems to be suited for this kind of heavy fighting. I will take on the Long game, bring on these 100 clones right now!!!

IC: *Kimimaro walks past the sign up area and onto a pad that says Long Game on it. His long blue hair and almost lifless eyes shift gently as he motions for Clockworkz to send him to the arena.*

Come on, I dont have all day to wait around...

Okay all, i have no clue where this would go, but i want to ask you if you know anything about comic books. I have this supposed rare Sonic the Hedgehog comic book, mint condition. It is the one where Sonic and Knuckles are fighting, and tear a hole into the "hidden level" area where the chaos emeralds and rings abound. It is the one where Hyper Sonic and Knuckles are revealed. I also have the comic with the last battle with Ultimate Chaos, where Sonic is hyper and Knuckles helps to electrucute Chaos to its normal size. If yall know anything or are intrested in these comics, or know where to get them priced, tell me here. thanks

Yeah, Atari was kind cool, my uncle use to have a 2600 in his cabin. to bad it didnt have a power cord to reach the outlet... i should have taken it before he died and it was stored away or thrown out. at any rate, i should go buy the plug and play, i miss the good old days, lol... My dad owns a Vectrex, one of the first home cabinet systems for home... its rather small, but the games are fun. sorry if that is off topic, but they both almost equally as good.

Posted on 04-09-05 02:13 PM, in Megaman X series Link
You all know the famous blue guy that has a knack of causing or being part of a war. He was always a dorky looking blue midget with a pee shooter laser cannon for a arm and always died when he landed on spikes. Well, that was old Megaman, he moved on to become Megaman X, or just X. As X, you sport a cooler looking armor, which has a much cooler look then the drab blue armor reminiscent of the old games. besides just the new armor, there are completley new characters other then Wily and the like. all of this is fine, but what are names without gameplay? X has a whole new set of abilites at his disposale. Things such as the new dash function allow you to get across large holes easily; the ability to adhere and slide down surfaces, allowing you to jump up the wall with ease; new mega blast attacks, and special robot tanks and upgrades that will give you a edge (like 4 mech style robots, each one having a different ability and attack. The upgrades allow for air dashing and air boosting, which allows you to preform a double jump type of manuver.). The gameplay is the main draw, as it is more tactical then previous games. Enemies will exploit your new abilities, such as energy launches that can fire energy blasts the move up walls, and artillery cannons that can easily stop you in mid air. apart from all this, the enemy selection is all new. There are new and updated enemies, but they all still have the same gay names as the rest of the other megamans. okay, enough of my rambling, what do u all think about this series? i personally find it alot better then the others (beside maybe Megaman 7...)

how bout this, you know the wire frame guys from Super Smash Brothers? just make the clones a random bunch of things. Some could be weak, or some could be strong. just generic run of the mill clones varying in power... that should make it easy for u, lol.

*Kimimaro stares at the approching wire frame with a faint hint of supiriority*

What fool charges straight into his own death? I shall makes this quick for him...

*Kimimaro suddenly leaps upwards into the air with the clone approaching him. As he floats upwards, his body begins to wiggles and bulge as if something was growing or moving under it. he reaches up and unzips his light blue shirt, as it falls down around his sides. The bulging is much easier to see know, and Kimimaro holds down his hand towards the floor. his palm opens, as the sound of cracking bones and bones moving through flesh fills the air. Suddenly, his spinal coloum shoots down to the floor below him, still connected to Kimimaros bones in hand.*

Come, prepare to taste death for the first and the last time...

This is the end of the line for you... Good bye fool. Dance of the Pines!

*All of the bulging erupts upward all over Kimimaro, as his skin suddenly splits open. White spikes erupt out of the bulges, more precisely, his own rib bones erupt out of the bulges. The extend out about 3-4 possibly 5 feet from his body and are as hard as steel and are as pointy as a well honed spear head. the create a very effective barrier against meele attacks, and have a high probablity of impaling enemies who are close enough to kimimaro.*

Dance of the Pines: 1 of the many special dances the Kaguya can use to defeat their foe. This particualr dance makes sharp bone pertrusions to erupt all over their body to either harm or kill the opponents who are close enough to the user. This technique may look painful to the user, but in actuallity it has no sideeffects (pain, fatigue, etc) to the user. Also, at will, he can extend and retract the bones if he wants to.

Yes, so i see. The other one was preparing to attack me in such a manner. If you remeber, I have connected my spine to the ground, and with that, i have the oppurtunity to use this next dance. Samarabi No Mae (Dance of the Seedling Firns).

*The spinal cord projecting into the ground wriggles, as the ground begins to shake and tremble. suddenly, giant bones rip up through the ground, and spread out at a very fast rate. They shoot out around Kimimaro and extend upward about 25-30 stories, and radiate out towards the clones.*

You have no chance. No one has ever survived this attack, and you wont either...

Samarabi no Mae (AKA Dance of the Seedling Firns) : 1 of the many dances the Kaguya posses. This attack is effective both above ground and while underground. it is basically a much larger form of Dance of the Pines. The bones will both impale or damage all those in about a 700 foot radius of Kimimaro. This attack is also known as the "Bone Forest" because of how large and close knit the bones are. On top of this attack, Kimimaro can move inside the bones by manipulating his bone structure and his celluar functions.*

*While the bones shoot out towards the clones, Kimimaro lands on a fully grown bone and sinks into it, effectively dissappearing. The one downside to this is the fact if you destroy the bone he is in, he will be damaged and possibly stunned for a few moments.*

the only thing wrong with this is how much it sucks on its batteries. aside from that, it has much better graphics then the DS by far, plus you gotta like the fact they got mini discs. that opens the possibility of mods to play burned games and dvds on them (booya). Also, the PSP has better games ALREADY released and coming soon, not to mention almost double the number of release titles. With titles like NFS: Dub Edition and Grand Theft Auto (i hope it looks SWEET), and this awsome looking game called Rakgoku (i believe that is the title), what isnt to love??? when i have a job and enough money (or i wait until christmas) im going to try to get one. and btw, I-Pod gave Sony their technology, as in the very small hard drives to store all your mp3's on. you can notice this when you watch the commercial, the guy listening to music is using I-Pod earphones, and a reliable source on computer and portable gaming told me. The PSP is the hottest thing to ever grace the market since the PS2 and X-Box. In all, the PSP is leading the way in next gen handhelds, and the next sony portable will be even better if this is the technology they packed into their first and only handheld.

On a side note, if you havent seen it yet, look it up. Someone made a PS2 portable, and put all the schematics and such on the internet. Now that is something i would do if i didnt have a total fear of f****** up my PS2 badly in the process of making it...

*As Kimimaro moves through the bones underground, he prepares his next attack*

I sense their energy from down here. They must be much more powerful then the other flunkies i fought. I will have to use THAT technique.

*as he thinks it, the small symbol on his chest glows, as it completly lights up and wraps his body in a fiery glow. As it fades, he looks almost like a lizard. All brown skin and a long tail with bones coming out of it. His power drastically increases to a giant level. His strength and all of his stats and abilites shoot up in power. as this happens, his arms begin to wriggle as he shoots up a bone shaft in front of the wire frame making the giant energy ball.*

DANCE OF THE OAKS!

*with that, his arm all but explodes as bones shoot out of it, and wrap into a giant drill looking weapon wrapping up almost the entire length of his arm. Also, his other arm does it as well. After they form into spears, two blades grow out of the edges near the tips of the spears. With exacting precision, Kimimaro launches his arm foward towards the clone in a attempt to impale it.*

Dance of the Oaks: My made up Dance. This dance is similar to the Dance of the Clematis, except 2 bone spears are created not one. This dance usually looks like a real dance when it is used in its full form, with swoops and stabs in a fluid, graceful dance. The 2 knife like projections slice the opponent while Kimimaro does the full dancing technique. after he has cut up the opponent, he then impales the opponent with the spear, effectively killing them after wearing them down. If he uses it in conjuction with Dance of the Seedling Firns moving through bones effect, he just impales the enemy.

im saying you burn the mini discs if you can... they sell mini discs everywhere, and we have to assume they have some capable of burning a psp disc to it. Plus, the mod chip you would use gets rid of the problem with disc formats, thats why you can play burned games on it. and i dont know about you, but these discs are like the GC discs. if you have that much of a problem keeping them safe in a holder made for them, or in their original cases, then thats ur own problem. lol. also, i think that if you spend all that money to buy said PSP, you are going to buy adapters for your car and wall sockets, our your going to invest in a new battery pack. sorry if you all dont agree that the PSP is awsome, but i like the PSP more then the DS... although i would get both if i had enough money, both have their ups and downs...
