I hate to be a doom-bringer and all, but have you even considered that your birth father might not want to meet you? If I understand correctly, your adopted parents are the ones who have brought you up since you were three-something, right? My friend had a similar predicament, and although he wanted to meet his blood parents, knew he'd feel closer to the people that actually brought him up.
All I mean to say, is don't expect some sort of joyous reunion, although it might be the case. But nonetheless, good luck.

Seems like satire to me. It questions the existing social norm with such a ridiculous statement, I cannot think it otherwise. Even if real, would not the writer be a living, breathing piece of comedy?
But if it's not, what's the aim of looking for something completely unfounded on any sort of logical argument? "Look, I found something utterly ridiculous on the internet!" Sadly, that's just about most of the content of the internet, newspapers, and the mainstream media, not to mention, most of humanity. So it's really not worth noting.
Now if someone found something sensical on the other hand, there might be more to talk about.

IGN tries to nullify any sort of validity that Fenner Instuments's claim carries, by dismissing it as "the next patent lawsuit." They point out no discrepancies, beside the fact that because they can't understand what's happening, it must be nonsense. I'm sure Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft love that.
