| *Andraele winces as a knife plunges into his side, his next strike faltering at the last moment, and slicing across his target's arm instead of his thoat. Falling back a step, his other hand clasping the wound. I can still breathe without too much trouble, he must have missed the lung by centimeters though. He drops his wakizashi, the blade ringing on the metalic floor, and the two remaining knights press in without hesitation. His leg was begining to throb, and he was having trouble keeping himself up. Pressing his other arm tight to his side, over his hand he formed a blade, using the water within his own blood as the foundation. As the knights reached him and were about to deal the finishing blow, his hand flashed out, plunging the blade deep up through the bottom of the mouth and up into the skull of one, and causing another slash across his own arm. A blast of wind launched the fallen wakizashi from its position on the ground into the other knight's groin, causing him to double over. Pulling the blood blade from the dead man's skull, he plunges it through the back of other's neck. Taking off his shirt he rips it into strips, and takes a minute to bind his wounds before heading back down into the facility.* | |||

| *Tendrils of air wrap themselves around Elemental, accelerating his movements. Sorcha's kick passes through empty air as he reappears behind her, dust flying up as he stops and the ball of water having formed a large blade.*

| *Andraele's right hand closes, forming another Wind Lance. He throws this one in Alycia's direction, the Lance causes just the slightest breeze as it passes over her shoulder and into the eye of another Shadow Knight he had come up behind her, bits of skull and brain spattering against the wall as half of his head explodes.*
I won't let that trust be ill placed. *He pauses for a moment.* I've been thinking, this attack was to well timed to have been coincidence, they knew this base was here, why wait until now to destroy it, when the four of you had just arrived here? The only explanation that makes sense is that it was what they were waiting for. *Another explosion sounds down the hall and down a level, much closer than the previous one, and Andraele looks back down the hall in the direction he came from.* Shit, that must have been the computer mainframe. *He looks to Breeze.* We should go, they just blew up what I was heading back for. Are the others going to the parking garage? |

| My dad is in the Coast Guard (For those of you thinking "That's like being in the military right?", yes, it is), and I will be shipping out to Boot camp heere at the end of October. I don't know too much about the Navy, but I do know that what he is doing will be a good experience for him. I know that it will be as painful for him to leave you behind as it is for you to watch him go (I know this from personal experience). You need to trust in him, and trust that he will come back for you when he can. I wish that I could be more helpful, but I seem to be lacking better words of wisdom tonight. IC: *Andraele glances at Lexa.* No thanks, I've had worse, but thanks for the offer. It's not too much farther. *They reach the parking garage without running into any more of the Shadow Knight Soldiers, passing many dead, researchers, guards, and shadow knights, that litter the hall. Steping out into it, Andraele looks around, spotting Kadife and Bob, he starts to walk in that direction. The squealing of the tires on an old four wheeled pickup truck covered the sound of a silenced automatic rifle. Three bullets hammer into Elementals left arm and shoulder and throw him to the ground.* DAMN! Today just ain't my day is it!? |

*Delrond quickly spins, his left fist slamming into Argon's chest. the weight of the blow is enough to send him flying upwards, then backwards down the stairs of the entrance in a less than graceful tumble.* You have much to learn of the ways of battle. For now I shall let you live for I think you may one day be skilled enough that I may enjoy the battle. *Delrond turns and strides into the temple. Now then, the priest said the power was this way. Delrond grabs a torch and walks down a flight of stairs into the temple's catacombs.* |

| *Bob's fist slams into the hood of the pickup, driving clear into the engine block and causing the car to jolt to a stop. The rifleman in the bed hurtles over Bob's head to slam into a nearby column with the sound of breaking bone and a scream of pain. | I was always good with math, until I hit calculus to. I swear that is a subject from hell (I think the guy who came up with the idea was satan's twin brother), and I dropped the class after one semester, the first one I passed with a 60% even. I got the exact score I needed on the final to not fail. I also fail to see how calculus would help as a bio major, I can understand statistics, but fucking Calculus?!
Also, Ranting is good for the mind, body, and soul. It helps focus your frustration, relieve stress, and will help you live longer. |

| *Delrond becomes lost in the maze within a matter of moments. I should have left him alive a little longer... too bad. He rounded another corner to see a priest walking towards him. The young man's face blanches at the sight of Delrond and his armor, and his scream is quickly cut off when Delrond slammed him into the wall, bones and dust falling from the cubbies built into it. He put his face close to the young priest's so that he could smell the man's fear.*

I... I.. I don't know what you are talking about. *The priest's voice shook, as he began praying for salvation. Delrond pulled out his dagger, and ran the edge along the priest's cheek, the fine edge drawing a line of blood and eliciting a cry of pain. The corners of Delrond's mouth turned upwards.* There is an artifact here of great power. You know what it is I speak of, and you will take me to it... or I can kill you now and find someone who will. *To accentuate his point, he drives the dagger into the man's shoulder, getting another cry of pain. The young man nodded, tears flowing from his brown eyes.* Yes, now you get my point. Lead me to it, and if I think you are leading me in circles or trying to stall me... well, lets just say you may start finding yourself short of limbs. *He lets go of the man.* Which way? *The priest points down a hall, and begins to walk down it. Delrond puts the dagger away, and pulls out his axe, already deciding the way to enjoy the man's death the most.* |

| OOC: I love how when you god mod, it is legal, yet when I do it, it becomes a blatant disregard for the rules. I will only fight as dirty as my opponent, you god modded, so I responded in kind. You completely ignored these simple facts, 1) I am wielding an ax, a weapon that you neither block nor deflect, you get the fuck out of its way. 2) I am from a race that is far stronger than you. 3) If you were to attempt such a stupid move, you would only have had your other leg completely removed, and your character would have ended up dead. When faced with these simple facts, it becomes apparent that what I did was an act of mercy by allowing your character to live.

| OOC: We are in Indianappolis (I think I spelled that wrong, not worried about it right now). Most of Australia, all of Florida, Cuba, Alamaba, Georgia, large portions of California, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Conneticut, Canada, England, France... just about anywhere with a coastline, is significantly impacted. Washington D.C. is completely below water. In some places, the only indication that there was ever anything there is the remains of skyscrapers sticking out of the water. Cities in California, Orgeon, Washington state, Florida, Mississippi, are under construction in the form of Biospheres. The rest of the population is compressed into the major city centers farther inland.
EDIT: Yeah, a lot of people have told me that I was stubborn. I can't stand to see people close to me in danger, and I will do what I can to protect them.... Sometimes I fail. *A brief look of pain flashes in his eyes, as if recalling some memory that pains him. He looks over his shoulder at Kadife.* How is he?
