The bullets halt, caught in the maelstrom. Her other hand dropped to the hilt of her katana. | OOC: They were flashbangs, really bright flash, really loud bang... most people are kind of on the deaf side at the moment...
*Darren covers his eyes just before the flashbangs go off, his ears are ringing after the explosions, but he is momentarily the only person in the room who can see. He turns to face the other guards, and drops his aim, sweeping across the room he shoots out the kneecaps on several before the ammo magazine runs empty. Holstering the pistol he completes the spin and jumps up onto the table. Running across he drops off the other side, going into a crouch, noticing that some have begun to regain their sight.* *The flashbangs caught Setsuna completely off guard, the wind barrier drops, and the bullets fall harmlessly to the ground around them. She drops to one knee, trying to rub life back into her eyes. Her sight slowly begins to return, though rather blurry, as Darren drops down beside her.* |

| CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I remember when I got my first car... had the key, and had it sitting in the driveway for three days before I could drive it (turned 16 on a saturday, DMV was only open Mon-Fri so I couldn't get my liscence yet). Bought it off my parents for $1200, and it has lasted me 3 years and almost 30000 miles (the ol' gal's about to the end of the road though, I plan to sell 'er soon and get a newer truck, I don't think she could handle the 2000 mile trip back to California and who knows how much again after that). But a new car is a great thing, and sticks are a pain in the ass to learn at first, but great once you know how, personally, I wish my truck was a stick, I feel more in control of the vehicle.
