Quick note: the movie does use a soundtrack, what it doesn't use is a score. The score is the orchestral or otherwise music that is composed for the film and the soundtrack is music that is featured in the film by certain artists.

But I understand. All music used in the movie was diegetic, or part of the world we are perceiving, where as a score (and soundtracks most/all/some of the time) are non-diegetic, or outside of the world, only perceived by the viewer.

I have to agree, it helped with the isolation aspect of the film (I wonder, did Cast Away use a score. Because for a lot of the film, this was a sci-fi cast away). It could have been interesting if there was an influx of a score when the other people show up, to symbolize the interaction.

I seem to recall that you used to have to reinstall WoW and patch it to a certain point, then do a ton of shit and whatnot to ghetto rig it to work.

Did you get that I was making fun of you spelling lose, as in to lose, the current tense of lost, as loose as in not tight, or out?

Corsic crested the top of the mountain. It had been raining lightly but relentlessly for the past four days, and the sky was an unrelieved gray. The road reached a kind of knob, a high point in the pass from which it had to swichback down, and so, for the first time, presented travelers with a clear view of what lay ahead.

This turned out to be an endless vista of patchy woodland, interspersed with piles of rocks. Corsic shifted in his saddle, and checked his supplies. A broadsword on the horses right hip, which he used on mortal enemies, and a pack behind the saddle carrying all of his food, water, and other necessities.

He began to trudge down the mountain, aware of the figure watching him.

Corsic saw the man coming, but waited. At the last possible moment, he leaped off his horse, sailing above his assailant. He landed several feet away.

"What is this madness?"

EDIT: Gorramit, wasted my 3000th post.

I'll probably join you once I get the internet fixed on the Mac install of my computer, since I don't feel like re-installing and patching it on Windows.

"Well, I'm afraid that what's mine..."

He easily sidestepped under the kick.

"...is mine."

He reached over and slid the broadsword from it's sheath and rested the tip on the nape of Dorjan's neck.

Browsed through all the pages, and I didn't see a thread for Steam, so I figured it should be up there with the Xbox and PS3 threads.

Just search for FX114, and you'll find me. I go by The Mighty Colossus right now.

So I saw this movie, I know it's a big bump, but still.

It is a total piece of shit. Not only does it have terrible plot problems (stupid things that the characters do that no one in their right mind would), continuity issues (magically multiplying guns, and a character is the sherriff one minute, detective the next), and generally terrible film making (breaking some of the most simple rules that every n00b leans on day 1), but it isn't even funny. I may have laughed three, maybe four times, but that includes chuckling.

Really, avoid this movie at all costs.

I think it is. Youtube is a bitch when it comes to uploading. That's why I'm working on my own flash player.

I didn't read the whole thing, but the spellcheck probably didn't fix it because it was set right to left or something? I dunno, but it probably thought that was right.

I think the same thing has been happening with Xeios, but on AIM....
