| So, next week, I'm going to UCLA! I'm doing a two week film program there, for people between junior in high school, and sophomore in college. Anyone wondering, this isn't the one I was talking about a few months ago (That was at Cal Arts, and I didn't get in. Only 500 of the 1300 applicants made it.). So, I am really excited about this. It's supposed to be a great program, and this will be a great learning experience for me, which will also look great on a resume/college application.
On a related tangent, I am also applying for an internship at the local community access station. What fun. |

| Martin's watch beeped, signifying the end of the hour. Or the beginning, it didn't really matter, but the end sounded so much more dramatic. He flipped up the collar of his coat to protect him from the cold that the car's heater should have. He probably could afford to fix it, but a good PI always had to have a beat up car: it kept them in a bad mood.
He returned his large binoculars to his eyes and watched the couple sleeping. 'Couple' wasn't the proper word. Lovers. Close friends. Fuck-buddies. Whichever word was correct, he was watching them. These were the only jobs Martin got: jealous husbands and wives, suspicious about their spouse's loyalty, while they were usually the one sleeping around. No one seemed to commit cunning heists or daring kidnappings in this day and age. The boy jolted awake, and Martin panned to the front of the building to see what had aroused him. The husband, the man who had hired him, returning early at an attempt to do Martin's job. He read the man's lips as he called out his wife's name. "Darlene!" |

| God that was bad. And not the script or poor acting. Those are tolerable, and somewhat intentional. It was the filmmaking. Every scene was composed of a single static shot. I can recall 2 scenes that had 2 shots. Give me everything that they had (actors, equipment, script, etc.) but let me film and edit it, and I would give you something many times better.
And what was the point of the ninja? They just saw it, ran and did a terrible prat fall. If the purpose was to just have a ninja for ninja's sake, then put that at the end of the credits. And was it just me, or did their nerd voices keep changing? |

| Okay, maybe it's just me... But why are all these people that are inside the city fighting demons? We have a wall, and the only way in is through the opening at which we stand. Now, the bridge is destroyed. No demons are in the city. And how have people not gotten that we are leaving the bank? I went to get people to move, I told a soldier to get people to move, people have posted, SAYING that they are moving. Yet we have people posting saying they are walking in. If you didn't notice, we're moving.
This is something that seems to happen in every RP I've been in. People don't pay attention to other people's posts. It makes the RP clumsy, disorganized, and generally not fun. Read people, it's why we're here. |
