| You can disable which programs start-up from within windows. Run >> MSconfig
Startup tab. Uncheck the ones you don't want starting up with Windows. Click OK. Allow diagnostic mode upon start up. Done. Or, you can do the same thing from within Spybot. |

| So, apparently Hollywood can create a movie about it and be mildly accepted, but I can't write a story about it because it's still too early and should write about something like the Holocaust (as paraphrased from comments on a fiction submission website).
Dammit, if I wanna write a story about 9/11 set in science fiction the day after the incident, I can damn well please do whatever the fuck I want! But, I'm not paying to see the movie. I can wait until DVD or bootleg. I wanna see if they use the ill-proven pancake theory. |

| It's just another way to strain the power supply on your computer. Plug in more things that need to be only powered by the USB port. Yes, it frees up the power strip, but it comes at the cost of possibly blowing a power supply and taking up a USB port that could otherwise be used for something important--like a digital camera, camcorder, printer, scanner, or drive port.
I don't need a USB powered light source for my laptop. Nor do I need a USB powered fan, cooler, refrigerator, aquarium, IM-toy, heater, light-up display, auxiliary display, or blow-up porn doll (trust me, it's cumming). |

| Copywrited or not, without proper citation, it's plagiarism. Calling it your own makes it plagiarism and/or paraphrasing. Adding the "Adapted by" makes it an adaptation. Switching it to first person view from third person is not a proper adaptation. Providing reviews from people we don't know whom quite possibly have no background in anything related to fiction doesn't hold much weight.
Just take your comments, and better your story. And for clarification, you did start the story un-italicized, and then broke into italics towards the middle. Also, while "unslung" is past tense, it had a flow issue. Something about syllables and tripping up the reading flow. It just didn't feel right. But, this should discourage you from writing, just be aware that we aren't the only people out there that have read over myths before. Like Venomous, I too have seen many adaptations of this myth and many others. But, yours, was just wrong. |

Keep working on the writing, maybe make it a little livelier, and it should be up to par with my judging standard. Anywho, like mentioned before, I have massive pressure and deadlines at both school and work, so I can't really cater to the competition. It's not priority on any of my lists. |

| Please don't IM me with random shit during the weeknights. I'm really really busy at work, and cannot help, nor talk, nor anything else with you. The only exceptions to this rule are my real life friends (i.e., people I know in real life).
Work pays me to do my work, so they're priority #1. And, all of my assignments are vital to company operation because my uppers depend on me to get them done. Ergo, I can't read things for you, I can't just talk about using chocolate as lubricant, I CAN'T FUCKING TELL YOU WHAT THE FUCK GAME I'M WORKING ON! If you keep bothering me over and over again, you're gonna get blocked. And, not just for a while, but forever. I may be working at night, but I'm not working on piddly tester shit. I'm an acting lead. I have documentation to create from scratch, documentation to update from standards set two years ago, people to train, and subordinates to assign tasks and monitor their progress. I don't have time for FX to ask me to read something or watch something. I don't have time for XMTS to ask me stupid questions about anything that he can look up on Google. I'm not your teacher, I'm not your tutor. But, for the next few months, and especially towards the end of school quarters and work fiscal years/quarters, I am going to be extremely busy. So, I can't just shoot the breeze or endulge things with you. So, if I tell you to fuck off, don't ask why, just do it. |
