I know I'm gay, but let's get off the topic of me.

I just don't feel that in this society, questioning the validity of homosexuality is no longer a valid question, especially in reference to a book that is horrendously outdated.

I didn't choose my homosexuality, dork. I am gay because I am. I've always loved the male form, from as young as I can remember (and that's about three years old).

I don't have an abnormal estrogen level. I don't have an abnormal testosterone level. I'm not mentally ill (while I do admit to being functionally insane). I didn't choose to be gay because I don't sexually like women, and I wasn't raised gay. I play sports, I watch sports, I don't shop till I drop (I hate the mall and brand-name clothing), I'm a gamer, I'm a career-minded person working towards computer science and other such things. I'm not a fairy, I don't embrace any of the gay stereotypes.

Many of the gay and lesbian people I know don't adhere to these societal ideals. And, by having a straight guy deduce that our sexuality and lifestyle is entirely a choice is just appalling and insulting.

By your logic, that means that you chose to be straight. Did you?

P.S: "Whole heartedly" and "abnormal".

So, just take it until you're old enough to reject it...like 18?

I mean, I was baptized, I had my first communion, and I had my confirmation. I'm not Catholic nor am I anything else.

Whatever happens, happens. I may declare the Catholic god's name in vain from time to time, but that's because I don't care.

I don't worship any deity. Just roll with it.

Remind me to kiss my guy in public in front of you, while you're tied to a chair with your eyes taped open.

I hate PDA, but I can tolerate it. I don't openly declare most of my hates when first signing on to a board, but then, members of this board know that I'm the openly gay, extremely bitter, easy annoyed, gay man.

So, to be fair, if gay men can't openly kiss each other in public, then straight couples and lesbian women shouldn't be allowed to do the same in public either. That way, all forms of kissing in public are eliminated. But, in order to do that, we'd have to abolish the good-bye kisses from parents and grandparents as well.

Entire European countries would lose their form of their greetings; the thing that makes them European. Our society would become less tolerant and more cold. Merely because you don't like to see gay men kiss in public. If it troubles you that much, here's a thought:

You know that flap of skin that sits above your eye? If you move that downward, effectively covering your eyeball, you can't see through it! Imagine that! Or, your head is able to tilt about 270 degrees around. Why not turn away? Or, just not be there? Methinks perhaps a declaration of disliking it could tie into a secret infatuation with the idea of male to male kissing...

I can see that you're gonna take the spot of resident bigot away from Geeogree. At least he matured.

Will & Grace is a play on words, with characters whose names also happen to be Will and Grace. It is not pornography in any sense of the word. Well, maybe slight info-porn, but not really.

It is appalling that you've managed to create a few threads to expertly display just how dense you can seem to be. Since we only know your outward appearance on the Board, we can't know if you're a complete idiot.

However, Will & Grace was a great and funny show. Whether it had been gay themed or not, and merely because two of the characters were gay doesn't mean the show centered around gay themes all the time. It didn't. It presented a few issues that mirror actual issues in the gay community, but it wasn't gay centered all the time.

But, I believe that you're just gonna ignore everything I say from now on, so I'll just type to hear my keyboard.

If your mom and dad kiss, is that porno? If grandma kisses you before leaving somewhere, is that porn? If you kiss your significant other, is that porno? Gay men kissing each other is not a pornographic act. You are greatly mis-shapen in your views of the world.

More substance to your posts please...

Anyway, I like EXPN rather than the mainstream ESPN. Since both iterations are owned by parent company Disney (whom employs many a gay person), and I used to work for Disney, I feel some kind of weird tie to them (must that portion of my soul they own).

But, I prefer the extreme portion of the franchise to the standard station. However, with the way a lot of mundane, everyday things are moving towards becoming a competition sport, my opinion may change.

But then, I don't watch TV anymore.

So, by that ideology, a choice can be changed. That is the essence of having choices. Therefore, you could at will, change your orientation and become bi, or gay, or asexual. Since, you imply that you were born asexual, and you could very well apply any selected form of sexuality to yourself, and be set. Since, it is your choice.

Counter that.

Even though you guys are way off topic now:

Thexare Blademoon, I love you for having a brain.

He is right, though, Sajin. This is the debate forum. The purpose of this is to present your side and back it up. Not wuss out and act like a girl and use your illogical, invalid arguments. My purpose for asking you to counter was to enter a civilized argument, i.e. a debate. That's what debates are: civilized arguments; attempting to persuade people to your view by backing up your views.

You haven't backed up a damned thing. And even when you correct yourself, you're still wrong.

Yes, there is no right or wrong, but if I had to side with someone (besides myself), I'd follow Thexare Blademoon because he at least knows how to argue.

Also, kids don't choose to go to school. They are forced by state laws and parents to go to school. And, I didn't choose to be gay. I wasn't raised gay. My family doesn't like that I'm gay, but they tolerate it. Yes, I find women attractive, but I'm not sexually attracted to them.

I find the male body attractive, but I don't want to pound anything with a penis. I actually like the personality and brain more than the physical body. But, I am attracted to men. It doesn't affect the rest of my life. If I did have a choice, I wouldn't choose a lifestyle that automatically persecutes me because we are a large society of religion-based brainwashing. But, the truth of the matter is that I don't have a choice. I have a choice on how open I decide to be with it, but I can't change who I am.

She stood up, tattered garb flowing in the never-ending supply of artificial breeze, and stepped off the AeroTrain track. Rather than fall to the sand below, she floated quietly and softly to the ground encased in a vivid, blue aura. She closed her eyes, opening them again deep within the toppled remains of a financial sector building. The smoldering remains warmed her body as she stood on top of a giant marbled column that used to sustain the archway over the main entrance. The trio of agents crouched within the far wall discussing their planned target for the night. A large grouping of rebel leaders were to have a small meeting on the eastern outskirts of town. They were the large motivators of an otherwise unorganized force.

T'om sat on the bodies of freshly slain rebels while Pat perched himself in a position to attack either agent or anyone coming in from the outside. Lee stood in a corner, semi-lit in an orange hue from the smoldering fires; his crimson eyes captured every movement of the lights as he spoke. Pat stood from his crouch and walked up to Lee.

"Your eyes, there's something different about them," he stared intently into them.

Lee pulled back, "What? They're the same as they've always been. Take your position."

Pat leaned back, "No, they're not. There's something more," he paused for a moment, "you've got nanotech, don't you?"

Lee mentally refocused the implanted circuitry in his eyes, "Maybe. Now, take your position, or I'll show just how painful my surgery was."

Pat nodded and returned to his position. T'om raised his arm to speak, "Are you sure you two are okay with each other? I mean, if you're not comfortable working with each..."

"Comfort isn't a priority," Lee snarled, "but our success in the name of the meta-humans is a high priority. And, for that we must weaken the initial threat--the rebellion. After that, we take down Harbor West from the inside so that Paradox can prosper. Then, and only then, can we make comfort a priority. Understood, Taroxian?"

"Very," he lowered his arm again and reclined against a wall, "so that's our directive tonight."

Pat pointed towards the eastern areas, "Rebellion leaders. I take blood badges home tonight."

Lee smirked, "Right. We meet at rendezvous in fifteen minutes. Move out!" Lee flipped backward onto the fallen column, landing next to Celeste. "Enjoy the show?"

She looked deeply into his enhanced eyes, finding that little inner child she had witnessed grow up years before, "This isn't you. You're not this heartless."

He knelt down slightly, "I know. But, I have to do this now." Before he could flip to a higher portion of the fallen roof, she grasped onto his pant leg.

"If you don't stop this now, you'll never grow out of the cycle."

He shook her hand loose, and knelt down to her, "I'll be fine," then disappeared onto the roof.

"You'd think that, dear," she whispered to herself dropping into the rubble to watch Pat scurry down the street. "I hope both of you come to that vital realization sooner rather than later."

Thank you for catching my occasional leaving-out-a-word thing. While Sajin fails to understand the concept of a debate...what were we arguing about? I just introduced a thought, and was hoping to get something concrete...so far it's just been you and Sajin debating (if you can call it that) over the lack of logic in his reasoning.

The only gay stereotype it reinforced was Jack. Other than that it was a great show. *searches for companion book he purchased*

I mean, Jack and Karen coined the most awesome phrases:

Jackinese
"Sarah Jessica Parker, hide me!"
"Jennifer Love Hewitt--What's going on here!"
"Mary Kate and Ashley, it's beautiful!"
"KD Lang, you are a lesbian!"

The Book of Karen
"If you want people to like you, you have to buy them things."
"Drive a boat, drive a car, drive a plane. As long as I'm drunk, what's the difference?"
"Christmas celebrates the birth of our Lord, Cartier."
"Did you think you could get into heaven wearing body glitter? Well, you can't."

And, for a gay themed series, there were very few (less than five) episodes in its six seasons that had male-to-male kisses. So, you are greatly misled, little boy.

Mom says my first word was "puter", snippet from computer. And, it was the only complete word I could spell by the age of three that contained more that four letters, aside from my lastname. But, I spoke early, around one year old, according to the parental unit.

My neighbor's kid didn't start talking until he was in first grade, and they discovered then that he was partially deaf. So, it's not all weird, but I guess it can happen. Now, I speak three languages, but understand five languages, and I'm fine.

My gaydar doesn't work. Disneyland broke it. So, I can't tell unless their exhibiting signs of flaminess. And, even then, some of the most flamey people at Disneyland turned out to be straight and married, so that's why my gaydar is broken.

It's true that it's not a choice. I may have chosen to stop hiding it and selectively come out, but I didn't choose to be gay. I can't just turn it on or off like an emotion; and I do admit that I'm more attracted to the person than the anatomy in their pants. It's just that the people I'm attracted happen to be men. Sometimes, women. But women are never in a sexual fashion.

The night was remotely calm. She had spent much of the latter of the night receiving word of the attack on the eastern portion of the city; learning that three Harbor West agents dispatched all of the rebellion leaders; realizing that they had all succeeded in escalating the war. A few members of the para-human faction gathered near the fallen AeroTrain car to mourn their dead and discuss matters of the War.

"I think we should stop," started a young-looking woman, the ravages of hunger and war reflected on her face, "I mean, I believe in our ideals, but we're losing momentum. I think we should go underground, and resurface when we've gained more strength."

"So, you want to waste three years of our lives and struggles by backing down like a coward?" spoke another older man, leaning against the AeroTrain car, "I didn't lose my wife and children in this struggle to back down to San Angeles government."

Celeste stood huddled among the others, "Maybe it is time to back down until we gain more power to rise up again."

The man walked over to her, "Maybe it is time that we took the city and planet for ourselves, as it rightfully should be," he turned to face the small gathering, "do we want a planet infested with alien outsiders, or do we want a para-human planet!?" The small gathering cheered after his statement.

Celeste moved closer to the man, extending a hand to touch his rough face. The man shuddered slightly, while staring into her eyes. "Would you like to live to see the fruits of your efforts?" she whispered. He nodded. "Then, back down." He shoved her down, and ran up the sandy banks yelling war cries of the rebellion. The others followed while Celeste lay watching the stars flicker in and out of the smoky clouds. She sat up, watching as Harbor West agents descended on the group, effectively wiping them out before they could reach the city limits.

A familiar pair of legs landed next to her, weapon pressing on the back of her head, "What have I started?"

"You'd never do it. It's true that you don't have what it takes. You can blindly kill for your agencies' ideals, but you wouldn't be able to kill either me nor Lee," she slowly stood to face her adversary.

"What makes you so sure, Celeste?"

"You didn't shoot Lee that afternoon, you didn't shoot him this evening, and you're not going to shoot him in the future. You may be the second ranking Harbor West agent, but that means nothing. And, you know it doesn't," she pushed aside his weapon and moved closer to him. His eyes welled with anger and fear.

"What have I started, Celeste? When will this all be over?"

"I can't tell you that. But, you need to stop this. For the combined good of yourself, your fellow agents, and the future of Earth II. There are far more important matters to address at the moment than a silly rebellion war between like peoples," she shoved Pat to the ground, kicking his weapon out of his hands. He sat on the beach, staring up past her to the smoldering remains of the city.

"I can't stop it. I'm just a pawn."

"No, but you can influence Lee. Whether he knows it or not, he controls much of the outcome of this War," she forced him to watch the darkened silhouette of the far-off island, "do you want that to succeed, or fail?"

"Succeed," he whispered.

"Then do your part, and I will help you and him in the long run."

He gathered his weapon and stood up, "Are you the fourth helix, Celeste?" He turned to face her, but she had disappeared. A sigh left his tired body. He lazily dragged his feet up the embankment heading towards the tunnel. Lee dropped in on him, walking closely behind him.

"What did she say to you?"

Pat immediately turned, confronting him face to face, "Couldn't you hear her with that enhanced body of yours? That nanotech and built-in armor couldn't help you?"

Lee shoved him down, "What did she say to you?"

Pat sweeped his leg, then flipped back onto his feet, "Nothing."

Lee flipped back onto his feet, "I don't believe you."

"Then don't believe me," he pushed past him, "we have rebellion factions to destroy."

Lee grabbed Pat's arm as he passed, "I know she's not part of the rebellion. I know she's telling you things that I'm not supposed to know. But, I will find out."

Pat forced his arm loose, shooting Lee's foot, "Maybe you will, maybe you won't."

Lee stood, foot intact and smoldering on a visible layer of deployed armor. He smirked, "You better, if you know what's good for you."

She followed him into the living room, their fuzzballs curling up around his legs as he rested on the couch from a long day in the field.

"Can you tell me what you're doing out in Xodan?" she inquired plopping down next to him.

He stared lovingly into her eyes, ran his finger across her chin, "If you weren't a reporter, yes I could. But given the circumstances, no." She shoved him and walked into the kitchen.

"Tell the cats then," she yelled from somewhere near the replicator plate.

Miko and Fappy lay curled in Brandon's lap, each staring up at him. He scooped up the kitties to inspect them for hidden recording devices. After he was satisfied, he leaned back with them still in his lap and started recounting his day to the furry audience.

"See, kitties, I go to Xodan everyday this week to survey a new area for the Paradox Island-Mainland SubTrain Tunnel expansion," he leaned in closer to the kitties, their ears perking up and Fappy starting to purr, "but we've found a pocket of some unknown substance that we think could be interrelated to the Showers." He pulled back, petting Fappy, and noticed that Christine had been hovering over him. "How much did you hear?"

"I didn't hear that you found a pocket of some unknown something related to the Showers."

He smiled, "Good. I can get into a lot of trouble for telling you stuff like that."

She ran her fingers through his messy, brown hair, "Yes, hun, but you didn't tell me. You told the cats."

He laughed, grabbing her down into his lap, the cats scurrying away, and hugged her tight, "How was your day?"

"I almost got up the courage to inspect the disc before I gave it to you, but I just copied it and kept it. Oh, and I found something on your PCD that I know you shouldn't have."

"Hun, that's confidential information, you shouldn't have been snooping."

"I wasn't," she moved to sit next to him watching Fappy flop onto of Miko to fall asleep, "the big one turned it on, and there it was. Classified information on Lee. Now, why do you have that?"

"Why do I have anything? You know I work TMC. You know how secretive we are with our projects," he stood up drudging towards the bedroom, "and you know that I'll have certain government files from time to time."

"Yeah, but we both know that he's not fully retired."

"Yes, and I wanted to see if that was reflected anywhere. You know how vindictive Pat can be, and I didn't want him finding things and starting problems. Lee does live right across the street," he emerged from the bedroom clad in something more loose than his TMC uniform. After scooping up the spongy mass that was Fappy and walking him over to the backyard door, he tapped on a contact on the nearby computer interface activating the living room projectors. The holoprojectors moved into position, beaming a three-dimensional depth map of the Xodan Flats region. Deep in the middle, a solid black sphere pulsated. He set down Fappy outside, and walked over to the map. After pulling the map down and compressing it to reveal the world around it a bit more, he stood back to allow time to pass and render predictive data. Nearby Oakridge appeared on the cross-section, then the Zedari fields, stopping just on the outskirts of Scientia Hill and the dusty road leading to town of Erdu. The image rotated, accentuating the solid, pulsating sphere, and the formation of the Showers clouds. The rains fell over the fields, and the entire scene compressed again--this time faster--revealing the entire island and surrounding Great Ocean, TMC building towering almost in the center of the Island.

"Amazing," she whispered.

I removed the rest, as I'll be rewriting that portion.
