| Allright...the Mormon needs to get in and give his say on this subject...
The people that are born as Christians but end up not going to church all have different reasons. Many times they are different for each person. My girlfriend and her family are Christians, but they just don't go to church because they haven't ever found a church that they liked. And I totally agree with Xeogred. I've been to Baptist, Roman Catholic, e.t.c. churches where they're preaching something from the Bible and then all of a sudden start preaching on how this relates to how the government should be...one Baptist preacher even related one story in the Bible to how we should all put a good amount of money in the weird little "collection basket" going around so that he could get a new house. I'd be willing to bet he got less money than usual that time. Now I didn't read every single post from beginning to end, I will admit that, but I did scan most of them. Yes, when born into a Christian family you are usually dragged to church every Sunday and usually have to endure that stuff being force-fed to you. I did I know. But about 6 months ago, I did a TON of research on different things and I decided that were I given the opportunity to leave my church, I wouldn't. Xeogred and others made several comments on how corrupt churches are, and yes, many are...(refer to the story about the Baptist preacher). But let's try not to focus just on the negative here. I very much doubt religion will be the end of the world, because for all it's bad points, it has a good number of good points. Every church is not corrupt, but I find it dissapointing that any are corrupt and claim to be in the service of God when really all they are doing is putting money in their pocket. Thats my opinion. Whether or not anyone even reads what I have to say doesn't matter to me anymore, but I just thought maybe I'd share my opinion. |

Wow, he doesn't have much experience with dating/women does he? Sounds like something I might've done oh...when I was in the 6th grade. For Pete's sake the girl you're with wants to go "cloths" (same as clothes am I right?) you freaking go with her and buy something for her....yet another prime example of someone ignorant in the ways of dating. *bows all japanese like and walks off royally pissed* |

| I don't depend on anyone. It'd be nice if i had a close friend that i felt like i could talk to, and i used to have one like that, then they became an almost completely different person, so i have no one now. Sure i've got my girlfriend, but we're not that close. I get depressed sometimes, and it really sucks because there's no one there to talk to. And I definitely can't talk to my parents. Why? Because thats like a joke. My parents never tried to get close to me, so i don't try to talk to them about anything thats important to me, because they'd probably disapprove of it. So i guess i'm basically screwed in this area...but whatever. I don't really care. It feels like I've almost reached the bottom, but i know from previous experiences that after you hit bottom things usually improve pretty quickly. | |||

| I like all their stuff. Their old stuff definitely rocks, but they're new stuff is good too. Some people i know don't like Green Day because they were expecting their new CD to be earth-shattering or something like that. I think they know that people miss their old stuff, so they're probably going to try to mix it now. But if they don't, I really don't care. Green Day rocks, yeah, but they're not one of my favorite bands. So they can do what they want. | |||

| This band is quickly becoming my favorite. They're just plain awesome. Most people love Helena, and I love that song, but I'd have to say that my favorite song of theirs is either To The End, Give Em' Hell Kid, or You Know What They Do To Guys LIke Us In Prison.
So, does anyone else like this band? Or does everyone not appreciate them? |

| Hmm...Spy, because you are a staff member I vote yes. Otherwise I'd say it's your style, so you shouldn't. I could probably improve too...i had to correct this and take out around 6 AIM abbreviations I had used myself...do it because you are a staff member Spy. |
