I went to McDonald's today and they said had a sign about recall. It said it was a voluntary recall and never stated why they were being recalled which I thought was weird

Yeah, I'm pissed Hossa finally got what he wanted. But, on the brightside, the Flyers are going to be better next year and the salary cap is going to hit the Hawks hard in the offseason so this was a one and done deal for them this year.

You just gotta love 'em. I usually go to the Salvation Army by my house to see what classic games they have because they usually have the best deals. My latest buy was a SNES with all the cords, a controller, and Super Castlevania IV as a packed in game( which I was surprised because a expected a bad game) for 25 bucks. I also just bought Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey( a game I've been looking for forever) for 3 bucks at the flea market. So, what's the best deal you've ever got at a thrift store or flea market?

My favorite classic mario game is SMB3, it's just so good. All of the others are great too, but SMB3 just takes the cake. I was going to choose Super Mario All-Stars, but I didn't know if that counted

I think it's 25 posts to get the Shredder Syndrome and if you post even more you can higher syndromes. And, I think the post rule for custom title was changed to 500 posts a while back or you can just ask one of the admins and they might give it to you.

Yeah they should do what Sega did with the Sonic Mega Collection by releasing all of his classic 2-D games on a later gen system. I would definitely buy that as long as they priced it in the $20-30 range and not charge the whole 50 bucks.

I know a lot of people buy blank cartridges then load a few games on them, but I don't know about officially licensed stuff like that and I've never seen it at the flea market.

Just a classic Nintendo collection in general would be amazing...

But no, they're too busy with the stinky Wii. And I imagine they wouldn't want to risk any profit they probably get out of VC releases.

Exactly. It's quicker to make money by selling each individual game for $5-10 than to sell them all bundled together on the cheap, stupid Wii. @Rose I feel the same exact way. Sometimes there's a newer game that comes along that I really want to play, but I'm always more attracted to classic gaming. @VG SMB3 definetley set the bar for all Mario games and platformers after it. All the awesome worlds and the joy of finding the secret flutes for the first time it's just perfect.

Costco does pay really well from what I've heard. One of my friends works behind the deli counter and he makes a decent wage.

Haha, Rose that's so cool you're going to work at Medieval Times. I went to the one in Chicago and it was awesome.

Yeah Nintendo was just WOW. They definitely brought out the big guns. The 3DS looks awesome and with the enhanced graphics looks better than the PSP, the new Legend of Zelda was having trouble when they were showing it off but it looks amazing, Mario Sports Mix looks really fun, DKC is returning and looks great, finally a new Kirby game and it looks beautiful and adorable, the new Kid Icarus everybody was waiting for was announced and will interesting to see what they do with the 3D, the new Golden Sun looks great, and all of the 3rd party titles for 3DS, especially MGS. I'm also excited to see what Sony will do because they're being pretty secretive just like Nintendo.

They just opened up for a concert I went to a couple days ago and they were awesome. They're a psychedelic rock band from Australia and they sound like they're straight from 60s/70s. Anyone else heard of them?

I'm going to be rooting for the Pens next year again, but I'm not sure they can do it. I'm waiting to see what they do in Free Agency because they have a couple of people they need to re-sign and they really need some better forwards and a shutdown defensive defenseman. Also Fleury needs to be more consistent next year and get back to how he was in '09.

Yeah, sports riots can get pretty crazy. I remember last year when the Penguins won and I was in Pittsburgh there was a few minor riots, but the police broke them up before anything too serious could happen. The severity of riots depends on the fanbase or how long they've waited for a championship and I know LA is a pretty big sports town so that's why the riots are really crazy.
