Okay....so listen to my genius plan. (or terrible plan depending how you looks at it)

So I'm going to buy a ps3 with my credit card. Play the game on that until my old ps3 gets fixed. Transfer the data, then return the ps3 and get my money back. I'm setting an alarm on my phone for the last day I can return it, just in case my new ps3 isn't here by then.

Anyone see any flaws in my logic?

Yeah you can turn back anything at Wally world, does not matter if you have the receipt or not. (Least in my area)

But +1 for Walmart, everywhere else are smarter. /correct grammar

Walmart was out of PS3s so I called Best buy and they said I could bring it back within 30 days, even if its opened.

So...I'm going for the Altair costume. w00ters

Which begs the question....why are there so many women in the poster? Simply gratuitous or are they making up characters?

Bulma, Chi Chi.....and?

I beat it the other day. I got the assassin emblem which means:

Spoiler:
I got the Altair costume. Wooooot!

This is definitely one of the best games ever made. My only gripe, be it a veeery small one, is that there were no puzzles in the game at all. The previous 3 had cool parts where you had to think outside the box to progress. (the heating and cooling of the card keys come to mind) However, in MGS4 its all out espionage and that's it. The boss battles require thought, as they should, but most of them aren't that fulfilling when you beat.

I kinda felt like I was cheating when I would blast them with the rocket launcher repeatedly.....

This game rocked me hard. The ending was mindblowing.

Doesn't Otacon tell you what to do? That's how I figured it out.

How do you go about transferring data between ps3's?

*Bump of MIGHT*

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. This movie rocked my boxers off. It made a ton of money and is getting rave reviews. One states "Not since the matrix has a movie made you say 'whoa I've never seen that before'" and its true! This movie definitely has special effects never before seen.

The acting is really well done. Angelina, as always, plays a great character. I'm definitely buying this movie.

Anyways, like I said there, this is either going to be the greatest or the worst movie ever made. No in between.

It couldn't be as bad a The Happening....

Ugh! The Happening was not happening. This movie keeps your interest.

The trailer looks rather bland. This would have been a good idea 4 years ago. But honestly the best thing the game had going for it was bullet time.....and that's been done to all hell in movies, even commercials. I can't see this movie stepping up. Especially since 'Wanted' just set the new action pedestal.

In my opinion? Easily one of the BEST action movies EVER made. EASILY the best superhero one. I cannot stress this enough.

God, seeing the credits made me so angry because I know I can never see Heath Ledger portray the Joker again.

Amen. You would think with all the hype it would at least fail to meet expectations, somewhat. I was astounded. Heath Ledger's performance was greatness.

In the latest interview, Ed Boon basically says Superman is broken. But Mortal Kombat never really cared about balance anyway....

I guess the game is playable now. I heard they were making it T and taking away fatalities. But that doesn't seem to be the case now.

I admit...I'm a n00b and haven't read the graphic novel. But seeing the trailer peaked my interest. Do you think I should see the movie first then read the novel?

That always seems to work out better for me.....

I've only been reading Naruto and Bleach. Hunter x Hunter is on ANOTHER hiatus and Prince of Tennis finished. =(

I think I'm going to start reading Tenjou Tenge. I want to start reading MPD Psycho, but its licensed and I can't find any scans. =(

Spoiler:
So there's some debate going on about what may be a hint for the next movie. When Alfred is describing Batman's suit Bruce asks if it protects against dogs. Alfred then says "it protects against cats". Apparently I wasn't the only one that thought this was fan service regarding Catwoman. Although some people think that's not the case.

What do you think?

We caught up with producer-extraordinaire Erwin Stoff at the NBC TCAs where he was promoting his upcoming updated-David-and-Goliath-based show KINGS. When asked about other projects he is currently working on, Stoff, let slip some very juicy news about a very beloved anime franchise.

“I’m developing COWBOY BEBOP for Fox, but doing it as a live-action film, so I’m working on that at the moment,” Stoff tells iF. “I’m really excited to be working on it, and it’s in the really early stages. We just signed it the other day.”

Before any of you BEBOP fanboys/fangirls get your skivvies in a twist about yet another questionable anime-to-human adaptation (see: DRAGONBALL), iF made sure to get an oath of fidelity to the original material from Stoff.

“I have such an enormous admiration for its creators, that our first and foremost concern is going to be a real degree of faithfulness to the tone of the movie, to the mix of genres, and so on and so forth,” he says. “When I met with them in Japan, one of the first things that I brought up was the experience that we had on A SCANNER DARKLY, and how hard we worked to remain faithful to Philip K. Dick, and that was our big concern here.”

For those skeptical about the casting possibilities, Stoff has the following to say: “Flak about choices is meaningless until people see the movie," he notes. "When people see the movie, then criticism has a place in it.”

Does Stoff think that American audiences that aren’t familiar with the anime will have trouble getting aboard?

“No, I really don’t think they will,” says Scoff. “I think they haven’t [gotten aboard] with the anime because it’s had limited exposure - it’s just been on Adult Swim, and so on. I think the ability to tell this larger frame - the ability to build a world that’s iconically American in its Western nature - I don’t think so at all.”

Um....I know I'll end up seeing it. But this doesn't seem like a good idea. Why are all these live action anime coming out now? Shouldn't this and DBZ have happened years ago?
