Though he's banned. He brought up a valid point. That kind of situation is more than likely going to be brought up. I don't have enough faith in some people's maturity. Maybe that's just me... |

*Xicer's body remains airborne as the momentum begins to slow down. Ravenna's sweep attack whiffs beneath him as he passes her, for his legs have not yet touched the ground. The momentum does inevitably dies down, leaving him clinging to Regime on the ground several yards from Ravenna. He notices his bullets orbit around her as if she is the sun. He also could see the vibrant energy in her body was diminishing slowly. How much longer can she possibly hold this technique? *

*A loud clap of thunder is heard and Xicer takes a meager jump to the side. A lightning bolt strikes right where Xicer was standing. Xicer pays this no mind and holds Regime high above him. It's blinding light floods the arena reaching from corner to corner, leaving no niche safe. With his other hand he shoots six rounds into the ground (Homing Scatter Shot). He crouches to the ground to brace himself for the next bolt.* *Half a dozen bullets erupt from directly beneath Ravenna. By travelling through the ground, they completely bypass the harsh winds. Coupled with the 'Pierce' ability, they are able to cut straight through the earth and home in on Ravenna. * Pierce- A special kind of attribute give to bullets of his choosing. When bullets are equipped with this ability, they do not ricochet. Meaning they will/can not be deflected. They simply pierce straight through the intended target like a knife through butter.

Well.....I can't help but want to see it. The kid in me REALLY wants to see it. The rational side of me knows it's going to be bad. It just has to be. But then there's that naive little boy in me that liked Resident Evil: Apocolypse, and would like nothing more than to be immersed in the special effects. Edit: Took out layout. When this thread was created, the game wasn't out. Now that it is, i'm using my fantastic Admin powers to revitalize it. ~Ahem I borrowed it from a friend yesterday. I'm already have way through it and i've played it for a little over 4 hours. The game is ....okay I guess. I like the backround story with Lucrecia. (I still flinch when they pronounce her name...that and Mako. Apparently it's pronounce Mah-ko and not May-ko) The gameplay will obviously be compared to DMC. But it really can't even hold a candle to it. The gameplay isn't nearly as smooth and you can't do nearly as fancy things. The graphics are good, especially for PS2. The cinematics are equal to Advent Children. In other words, it looks like it's a PS3 game. The music is alright. It can get overdramatic on some of the in game cut-scenes, but other than that they're not bad. I spoiled myself and watched the bonus ending awhile ago. (Gackt is in it, how could I possibly resist?) It's waaaaay better then KH2's secret ending and I haven't even beat the game yet.

*Xicer's body aches from head to toe. The tempest had taken quite a bit of stamina out of him. However, he does not let it show as he slowly picks himself off form the ground. Bits of debris fall from his chest and torso as he rises. Tiny dents cover his armor from where the hail pelted him.*

*Xicer fires another energy shower so that Ravenna's figure can be fully revealed to him. The circle beneath her was plain for him to see as it radiates brighter than anything in the arena at this time. He isn't to worried about the attack for he stands several yards away from the glowing circle. Suddenly a tendril wraps itself around his wrist. His wrist feels abnormally cold, in fact it burns. He stifles a yell as he tries to pry his hand free. Regime falls from his hand while he pulls frantically away from the spirit. More tendrils being to fly at him from the circle, threatening to ensnare him. He twists his wrist to the side, letting his hand fall out of his glove. The tendril snatches the glove away from him as he jumps backward. Xicer does not notice it (partially because he can't see simple colors) but his wrist was black from where the spirit wrapped around him.* *One of the tendrils snatchs up Regime from the ground. Xicer flicks his wrist and the staff spins in a circle, coiling the tendril around itself. He flexes his hand and the staff releases the familiar blinding light. The tendril shrivels back to its circle. Xicer flicks his wrist again and Regime appears in his hand. Both Regime and Cameron begin floating in front of him. They both flash and turn into orbs of light. Both orbs flicker and melt into each other. The light elongates taking the shape of a longer staff. However this staff was different than Regime. It held the properties of both Regime AND Cameron. The end of the staff has a barrel like hole and two jagged wing'ish blades on the sides. This new weapon is named Judgement.* *The end of Judgement begins to glow as Xicer warily keeps out of the tendrils reach.* | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
