| Hello people, I'm DurfarC. I stumped upon this board some months ago, but never got around to register. Some of you've probably seen me around at Acmlm's Board or the Ice Board.
So, what can I say... I'm 17 years and live in Norway (probably the only one here). My interests are music, videogaming and rom hacking. The last one is probably the reason why I registered at Acmlm's and all those other boards. I registered for the rom hacking part in other words, but today, I post in every forum I find interesting. Message boards are kinda interesting after all. I've been at many Acmlm boards during the last year, and should know most of the rules, since the FAQ is identical almost everywhere. Will I be active? I'll do my best. Only time can tell.  |

| I don't have a job either, although I use much money on CDs and videogames. Why? Simply because I want to have some free time left. I'm still going to school, and there's much homework to do, so there's not much time left for the computer, the music and my friends. Also, my grandparents are quite rich, so I get much money from them. |

| Actually, I think you're the first one who like my username. I think it sounds weird if pronounced in English, but it's not really a Norwegian word either. Since I don't have anything else to say at the moment, I can tell where I got it from.
It was a day three or four years ago, my friend and I worked together with homework as usual. He was lazy that day, and wrote exactly what I wrote. Since my handwriting used to be pretty ugly at that time, he didn't understand everything of what I wrote. And then it happened. I wrote the Norwegian word for 'therefore', which is 'derfor'. But my friend thought it wrote 'durfar', which can be indirected translated to 'drone father'. We laughed for ages, because it was so funny. When I started to register at message boards, I simply added the 'C' at the end. I don't know why though. So basically, it's 'Durfar' and 'C' in two separate words. For some odd reason, everyone tend to forget the 'R' in Durfar. You forgot it as well.
As for the Norway thing, it's not that bad to be the only one from there. I have enough friends in real life, but I've got many good friends online as well. I'm not into sim battling and all that stuff though. I don't sit that much in front of the computer (probably more than my friends, but still), and sim battling takes much time, I think. I however noticed in you bio that you listen to trance. That's great, because trance music is my life. |

| I've always weared glasses until a year ago, when I started using contacts. I still use my glasses sometimes though, like now when it's vacation and I'm staying home or at another place where I don't know anyone.
My sight itself isn't bad, though. I can see very well without anything, it's just that my eyes like to roll up and down and everywhere. It's just weird looking. (Last edited by DurfarC on 08-01-05 05:40 PM) |
