| i highly doubt anyone will read this, because no one ever seems to care about any of the shit i post, but himura_kenshin said this might help me get some stress out... well, here it goes...
(copy and pasted from my live journal, because i'm too lazy to type this again...) ok, this is a rant, if you don't like it then fuck you, you should have read the title. anyhow, i've been depressed and pissed off all day. i want to either cry my eyes out (which i did for 2 hours already) or kill something just to let it all out. the people i called "friends" are not any help to me, they're fucking oblivious idiots who either don't notice me waving my arms and screaming for help, or they don't care. they act like i'm bothering them... like i'm just a pest that should be swatted away. the only time i get to let some steam off is when i'm online. i know that probably no one will respond to this, but i really don't care... i need to get this out. i've tried talking to like 12 people about how i feel and no one cares. would anyone notice if i just disappeared? i'm fucking sick of this... i hate being ignored! i stopped cutting a while ago, but right now i feel like just trailing a sharp piece of glass over my wrist would feel so damn good! i miss having people to talk to, i miss having people who care. i just wish i could disappear, then i wouldn't bug anyone or get in the way. and... i wish i had a piece of glass... |

thanks a ton, to everyone. i had tears in my eyes when i read your responses. it feels great to know that you guys care. i'm sick of the "friends" i have, and i may very well just walk away from them, it's not like they'd notice. but thank you all SO much for being there for me. now i know i have people who will listen when i need them to... and now i can finally smile a little!  |

| this may sound a but abbrupt, and it may sound harsh... but through what i've experienced and what i'm going through now i think that you should forget about her. if she won't let you get through what you need to and she's rushing you through life, maybe she doesn't really love you. if i were you, i'd tell her you just wanted to be friends while you streighten things out and then maybe you could have a relationship again. but before you do anything, talk to her. see if she'll listen, if she doesn't want to listen, it's not worth the time or the heartache to stay with her. that's just MY opinion, don't regard it if you don't want to, i'm only trying to help. | |||

| lmao... good one! i wonder if David would do that... wait... i KNOW he'd do that. i just want pictures... anyhow, i don't like haunted houses much unless i can move around a lot (i'm kinda clostraphobic) and i can't play DDR for crap, so that counts me out of either of those. i wasted all of my coordination on hand-eye to draw, and there's none left for foot-eye coordination. yeah, that's how i explain it... i'm unable to play DDR, on account of i suck. and playing in costumes would be a bit harder (for me) because of props. (i over do the props for most cosplays) like for me in gaara's costume? that would REALLY suck with that god damn gourd and all lol. shit! i just got a great immage of me in my full pink kimono attempting to play DDR. now THAT'S suicide... >.< anyhow... i'm done rambling...... though it WOULD be cool if everyone who lives near berrymores (sp?) could arrange a day to go up there in halloween/cosplay costumes and just hang out for a while... you know? play DDR, eat their sloppy food, and just party! (in costumes, or corse!) tell me what you all think, and we'll try to arrange a day for it if you'd like...? |

| it looks good. the only things to fix are the gore, which should be more liquid-like instead on like a fountain. think of gravity and how it pulls on water. blood, though it's a bit more dense than water, flows the same way.
the other thing that needs to be fixed is the person's body. it looks like you spent a lot of time of the one holding the head, but the other body looks kind of poor. you might want to add more flesh to it and go fromj there. also, try adding another hand, perhaps grabing upwards. i know if someone were trying to rip off my head, i'd try to stop them. so try having the character show a bit of resistance. other than that, though, it's a really great piece!!! and trust me, blood is a hard thing to get used to drawing.  |

| ok, first, i know i haven't posted in like a freaking year lol, but i'm happy to say that i'm back and i did miss a lot of you. hopefully i'll be able to post more, concidering that my life is going better... (i had some issues.)
AND NOW... TO THE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION! my dear friend heather is a big "player" at cosplay.com and she and a few other cosplay/anime/manga freaks (much like most of us) got together for a common cause. everyone in michigan knows of (or should know of) the Detroit Zoo. in recent years, the zoo's become a bit of a dump and it's even said that it may go out of business. well, heather and the people at cosplay.com wanted to help out the zoo a bit. they came up with the idea of having a fund raiser that plays on the anime fan base right here in MI. the event is scheduled to take place August 11th 2006 at the detroit zoo. there will be three main events: # 1 - the art auction. artist are submitting artwork for the auction and people will bid on the pieces of art that they like. i'm not positive, but i think all art must be original ideas/characters. # 2 - the cosplay auction. cosplayer volunteers will come in full costume to the event, and people will bid on them. the winning bidder for each will get to have that cosplayer for a date in the zoo all day.
# 3 - Food! we've asked many of the local pizza places, subways, etc. to donate, but if that fails, it'll be a pot-luck kind of thing. (and heather makes awsome food!) If anyone from the board would like any info, please e-mail me at: meganrv@sbcglobal.net Also, if you plan on attending, don't hesitate to dress in costume!!! i'll have more details soon! As for all of you who say "be more active," honestly, I'm not too sure what I'll be doing! I just got my life back together... so, maybe I'll stay around more (IF no more shit happens! XD) But yeah, I'mn back and to all of y'all who either don't remember me, or are "new" (since I've been around) I must say... HI! *dances* You all seem pretty cool (still!) And, Rouge? I don't really cosplay anymore XD now I'm more into original characters! It's actually more fun at conventions to go as an original character. People ask "what anime are you from?" and I usually point to my skull and say something like, "The best one.. it's just still in my head, so you haven't seen it... yet!" then i usually get their attention and i can whore out my art site account! | Hey! Guess what! I'm still breathing!
Wow... it's been forever since i visited. I'll try to do so more often, but I'm busy, busy, busy! Now then... I suppose I should update y'all on what I've been up to these past few years, yes? Okay! Let's see... I graduated high school in 2007 and started attending community college that fall. I attended for two years but only for general studies, since I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I have to grow up and get a job?! What the heck? I can't just ride unicorns over rainbows and be happy all day? Apparently not. In August of 2007 I finally broke up with an abusive asshole I'd been dating and swore off relationships until I could sort things out. That was probably a huge factor that played into who I am now. If you remember me from oh, so many years ago... I'm nothing like the person I was before. I like to think that I've matured. As my friend Brittney so lovingly put it, "You have matured... into an egotistical, narcissistic sociopath. Why I still love you, I have no idea." I guess it's kind of true, but I've realized that change really isn't good or bad. there's always something you can learn. I've learned that I matter much more than I once thought. Maybe this new me is just making up for all those years of low self-esteem. Either way, I like the new me much better. In February of 2009, I was talking with an old friend, whom some of you may still remember as a former member of Xeogaming who went by the username Himura_Kenshin. (Profile: http://www.xeogaming.org/profile.php?id=58 ) He had moved to Orlando, FL for college and I had kept in contact, since we'd known each other since the 9th grade and I'd had a petty, girly crush on him since day one. Our conversation was mostly me ranting about how I hated drama and relationships and never again wanted to have one... and he stopped me and said, "That's a real pity, because I've been thinking a lot about it and the reason i called was to ask you to date me." I literally fell over, I was so surprised. I said hell yes! Now, just over a year later, I'm living with him in Orlando, FL and we're happily engaged. No wedding plans or anything like that, yet, though. We're waiting until he's graduated from college. In summer of 2009 (last summer) I was recruited to help out with a new anime convention in the Detroit area. This convention (called Anime Detroit) was created by staff who had branched away from another local convention because of disagreements with how things were being run. Because the staff of this newly created con (myself very much included) believed that anime cons shouldn't b corporate money makers, but instead like large, friendly families, they created a convention that focuses on being a con run by the whims and ideas of the attendees. That fall, less than a week before the convention, disaster struck and the head of the Artist Alley, the department I was scheduled to staff, lost his father and was unable to be part of the con. I took over the entire department two days before the convention. Since then I have been their Artist Alley Department Head. A little over a month ago, I was officially given another department under my command at Anime Detroit and now I am also in charge of the Events and Panels Programming Department. Garrett and I, along with out room mates Matt and Hel, will be driving up to Detroit, MI this August to run the convention. A very exciting thing, indeed! So, that's what I've been up to in these past few years. A lot sure does happen, that's for sure! ♥ |
