He was rushing, and didn't really slow down. He had too much going through his mind right now. OOC: Since FX refuses to post... BIC: Francine eyed James warily as he made his way to the armory to fix his arm. "Weird sonofabitch..." she though, as she ambled to the cafeteria. Her werewolf hunger was starting to get the best of her. "Uh.... Wait... What are you going to do to with my leg?" Shane was wary of this, and wasn't about to trust someone he didn't really know. But after being told what he subconsciously did, he figured it'd be better if he cooperated. |

Art Forum Rules Updated 12-05-06 Author: Clockworkz 1: Art Forms Basically, anything that you drew, painted, scratched or spat can go it here. However, videos on YouTube and other such sites belong in the Video Hut, and written works go in the Story Realm. Flash animations and games can also go in the Art Forum. So basically, any traditional art or digital art is fair game in here, unless otherwise stated. 2: Content The only limiting factor in content is extreme violence or sexual art. This also includes Hentai. If you want to post pornographic or violent artwork, please put an "NSFW" (Not Safe For Work) in your thread title. If you decide you want to post that kind of art in an existing thread of yours, PM me first, and once I reply back, THEN post the artwork. Also, make sure that it's all in hyperlink form; no one wants to accidentally click a NSFW thread and get a face full of boobies (  ).
3a: Contributing to the Artist This rule is very important. If you don't contribute well enough, the artist may not want to post artwork anymore due to immaturity. Please do not just make one sentence posts saying "Wow, it's soooo good!". This contributes little, except throught, as does "omg these suck ass die of HIV". Also; if someone sucks, do not flame them to hell. Encourage and support the artist, and give ideas and ways for him/her to improve. Critique is another issue. It's encouraged by most artists to critique works to figure out what's wrong in their pics. However, if the artist requests that you do NOT critique the work, don't put up a fight and ask why; just respect it. 3b: Critiquing 101 (Courtousy of Acmlm's Board's Modern Art Forum) To make sure you help out our artists, here is a simple guide on how to critique artwork. 1. Have a good, long look at the picture. I mean really REALLY look at it. 2. If the artist is trying to convey a particular idea or mood, do you think they have done a good job of doing so? 3. Think about what you like about the picture. What has the artist done well? 4. Think about anything you can see that needs improvement. Think about how to explain what you see, because you will need to be able to tell the artist. 5. Write your comment. Make sure to stay what you liked, and what you think needs improvement. Make sure to try to say WHY you liked or disliked something, and if something needs improvement, try to suggest something that might help the artist make it better. 6. For bonus points, if the artist improves their work, critique it all over again! An example of a good critique: "I really like this piece! I really like the dramatic pose the character is in, and the dark colors you've used to convey the mood. However, I do think that the shoulder is twisted a little bit funny -- do you think you can move it backwards a little, I think that would fix it" An example of a bad critique (aka sugar-coated spam): "OMG CUTE!!! You did a good job!" An example of a bad critique (aka flaming poorly disguised as a critique): "Your art sucks I could have done that in five seconds" Action WILL BE TAKEN against those who continually post "bad critiques". Ammendments: Article 1: All art posted on this forum MUST me made by the person posting, no ifs ands or buts. There is, however, a thread stickied for art that you found. Race: Oridian Instinct Drive: Yes Age: 22 Sex: Female Appearance: About 5'5", with very tanned skin; almost brown, but she's still caucasian in appearence. Very fit and thin. Her voice isn't as high pitched as most women, and as a tomboy, Alexis revels in it sometimes when she hears giggling schoolgirls run past her. She has jet black, almost shoulderlength hair which is very lightly wavy. A sleeve of black, tribal tattoos run down her left arm. She's always found in a black tank top and baggy, drab cargo pants with chains and belts on it. Her sneakers are black and grey, and pretty old and beat up. Sometimes she has black and tan gloves on her hands, often when she has to steal something. It's just her thing. History: Alexis never really knew her parents. Her father divorced before she was born, and her mother died alone when Alexis was 14. Left without a future, she gave up all she had and lived her life on the streets as a thieving crook. In her off time, she gambles with the ther thieves in back alleys, or goofs off and listens to music on a digital media player she stole. Thanks to her B-Grade Instict Drive, she's able to elude the cops without much trouble, so her life is pretty easy so far. She's pretty tan. Like, really tan. She's strong and fast, and even without her Insitinct Drive, she's pretty nimble and dexterous and cunning. Should I change her race, or would it be workable that the environment that she grew up in had an impact on her lifestyle and physique? I don't wanna change her Personality or Apperance at all, you see...

He got undressed and whipped out his camo equipment and got ready. Francine scarfed down her food quickly in te cafeteria. The boneless rib sandwich (cooked extra rare) was gone in a matter of minutes. Werewolf hunger is nothing to fuck with. After she wiped her mouth clean, she left to head for her room, being extra silent as to not wake her children. Inside she met up with her husband, who was also suiting up. "Breakin' out the camo make-up, huh? Sounds like a good idea. Might as well join you with that. Hey; where are my army camo fatigues?" Shane eyed Harry warily, then decided to agree. "Alright. Let's see what you got cookin' here." He followed behind Harry as the two of them left for the Armory. (restricted) |

BIC: Mordecai Tatanyenvitch dragged his feet through the barren halls of the facility. What he wanted he knew was in here. He'd been hot on the trail for years now, but without reliable transportation, he was unable to make the trip easily. Over the years, his hair grew shaggy, and his face, scraggily with unkempt facial hair. Wrapped in dirty cloth that seemed to cover his body like a mummy, only his head was really revealed for the world to gaze upon in wonderment, as if he were a sign, a symbol of the hopelessness. Within one of the doors, he could hear voices. And one voice, very familiar. It can't be... No way! Without thinking twice, his eyes widened, and he gained a sudden burst of energy as he jumped to feet and barged through the door that seperated him from his goal. He was an awe inspiring sight, as his face shown through the cloud of dissary in the room, and tears streamed from his icy blue eyes, and down his dirty, long face, and he stared into the eyes of one girl there. "Holly! Holly, is it really you!?" He held out his completely bandaged hands which emerged from teh shredded cloths as if to recieve something of limitless value and of delicate build, looking as though he would carefully recieve whatever it was to be presented to him and keep it with him, protecting it with all his might...
