| My local Sam Goody's was going out of business, so everything was 80% off. The $30 DVD of Faner volume 1 was down to about eight bucks, so I picked it up. Now, I never saw it or even heard of it before this, but it looked bad-ass (also got Fist of the North Star volume 1 and 2 at gamestop same day). I took it home and popped it into the DVD player, and I was a bit surprised.
It's good. I saw the dubbed one first, though. The voices are tolerable, but not great. I'll watch the subbed version soon. Y'know, I'm going to call it eitehr Rahxeveleon or Evanxephon, since it's almost exactly like those two. Lacks any originality whatsoever, but everything else about it is great. The animation, the art, the voices and the music are all good. It's just a shame it's not more original. Pick it up if you can find it for 8 bucks like me. |

Personally, I can't stand Fireworks. Macromedia needs to stick with stuff they're good at, like Dreamweaver and Flash. |

I JUST got volume one and two (i've seen the show before) and immediately uploaded 14 episodes to my iPod. It's all about death and violence and killing and death. Only thing that irritates me is that blood is eitehr all black or all white, and you don't see the aftermath of the horrific deaths. But oh well. Can't have it all. Get it. (restricted) |
