"Francine... stay here. I won't let them get inside." Kevin kissed her on the lips, then left the room. He dashed through the corridors, and found the hanger. Once inside, Kevin radioed Keira. "Keira! I'm initiating Level 5 Lockdown! Standby." Kevin pulled into his mech, reved the engine up, and blew through the opened doors, which shut afterwards. Immediately, he was faced off against crowds of man.

After a suicidal mission to the Sahara Desert to smoke out "terroristic mages", only he, and two other men made it back alive. They were normal witch citizens who hated the Government. Apparently, to hate the Governement is to be a terrorist. The anger that coursed through his veins took control. "Target aquired. Preparing Hellifire Seeker Missles now." The beam hit the craft, as it exploded into shards of metal and flame. "Gotcha! That's for my buddies, you sick bastard!" The mech stopped in the air, and began to make it's descent to the battlefield. A swirl of dust formed beneath it's landing zone, and Kevin emerged from the mech, only to be surrounded by a dozen infantry men. His M3AB Pulse Rifle over his shoulder, he spoke nonchalantly. "So, you all wanna die? Wow. Alright then, I can accomadate that!"

*It can't be... Is it really him?* An aging, late-forties guard stood in a state of shock looking at his aggressor. "Hold your fire! This battle is won. Go back to base! That's an order!" The troops looked around, bewildered. "Uh... yes, sir." The men jogged out and moved back to the helicopter. "What's the lieutenant thinking? We had him!" "I dunno. He must wanna kill him himself. Can't say I blame him." The helicopter tok off, leaving the two men alone. "Who are you? Come on, 'pops'. Ain'tcha a bit old to be fightin'?" The lieutenant only stared. "You... have your mother's eyes..." Kevin was now officially confused. "What the hell are you talking about? Better start talkin', unless you want a belly full of lead." With that, the man put his gun down and raised his hands. "Don't shoot, I surrendur. Besides, Kevin." The man took off his helmet and visor to reveal his shaggy, dirty brown hair, and kind, sad blue eyes. He smiled. "You wouldn't shoot yer old man, wouldja? Does the name 'James Katsuyori' mean anything to you?" Kevin's jaw dropped, and so did his gun. "Wh-wh-what? You..." Then it hit him like a ton of bricks. "Dad...? Is it... really you?" James smiled. Kevin still couldn't believe his ears. Was this man really his father? The same man who left Kevin, his brother and his mother all those years ago? "It's not safe here, dad. We've got to seek cover. But first, I have to give you something." James knew what was coming, but didn't stop it. He knew he deserved it. Kevin swung a hard, right punch at his father's face, and nailed him in the cheek. Hard, too. James did not retaliate, and his expression did not change. "That's what you get," muttered Kevin, "For leaving me, Mom, and Jake." His father's eyes turned sad. "I'm sorry, Kevin. You have every right to hate me. How are your mother and brother doing?" Kevin stared at the ground, and finally said, "They're dead. They're dead, dad." James' mouth dropped. "No... Elizabeth... and my poor, poor son... This is all my fault. I should've been there..." Kevin nodded. "Yeah. You shoulda, but it wasn't your fault. Jake was killed by a vampire, and Mom died of Depression and Cancer. I guess you're all I got left, pop." Kevin walked slowly, solemnly toward his father, and gave him a heartfelt hug, then began to cry. "Why? Did you leave without saying anything!? You left me all alone!" James put his arm around him and consoled Kevin. "It's alright. I'm here, now." Like the flick of an eye, Kevin's eyes seemed to be dried, but his voice still echoed with the sound of sadness. "I think it's time I was answeared a few questions." *So do I, Kevin, so do I.* |

As far as I know, it copies the animal directly, so I wouldn't be surprised if the offspring was animal, not human.
