| I say the DS because it has the potential for some sick games. Here's some ideas:
Starcraft (or Warcraft, for that mater) DS Top Screen: Shows status, minerals, gas, supplies, stats of selected characters and mini map which can be brought to the Tuch screen by pressing select. Touch Screen: Use the stylus just as a mouse. Has all the commands for the unit at the bottom and the game map. Hot buttons are A for attack, B for stop, X for Hold position and Y for center screen in unit Punchout DS Top Screen: Shows Little Mac and his opponent in classic Punch out style. Let's use polygons this time! Displays health and power punch meter. Touch screen: Shows 2 boxing gloves; touch and drag the gloves to the center of the screen for a body blow, or the top of the screen for a head shot. Tap the gloves again after you drag them before they snap back for a Power Punch. The Gloves then glow; keep tapping them for successive punches, or drag them to the top or meiddle to to a Heavy Punch attack. Tap the arrows on the sides to dodge, and the arow on the bottom to duck. The buttons and D bad can also be used to fight. |

| In a far off land, where dragons and orcs and trolls roam free, where nothing is as it seems, and magic is just another stple part of society, a war is beginning. Xanthos Blackheart, the evil half-dragon Warlord has risen up to take over the kingdom of Venaria. The land needs its heroes; will you take up arms and fight?
How the game is played It plays just as any other RP, except that I am the Dungeon master, and not a fighting character. I conrol the enemies, whether or not an enemy is hit, I play the shop and Inn keepers, and what you find in the chests and other things you smash. I will be *very* active on this if it gets popular, so I can be reliable. You can be of 4 races: Human (no special abilities), Elf, (learns magic, but physically weak), Dwarf, (Physically strong, but slow), and Half Orc (Very strong, but slow and unintelligent). You can have two weapons; a melee weapon (sword, axe, etc...) and a ranged weapon, like a crossbow. There will be experience. The experiece you get will be based upon what you kill and how efficiantly it is done. Everyone starts at level 1. As for starting weapons and armor: Human: Short Sword (2-5 damage), Padded armor (+1 defense) Stats: HP: 15, Attack: 14, Intelligence (attack amgic): 12, Wisdom (defense magic): 12, Constitution: 14 Dexterity (Speed, ranged weapon use): 14 ------------------- Elf: Dagger (1-4 damage), Cloth robes (+0 armor) Stats: HP: 13, Attack, 12, Intelligence: 17, Wisdom: 17, Constitution: 13, Dexterity: 16 ------------------- Dwarf: Handaxe (1-6 damage), Leather Armour (+2 defense) Stats: HP: 17, Attack: 16, Intelligence: 10, Wisdom: 10, Constitution: 15, Dexterity: 13 ------------------- Half-Orc: Warclub (2-8 damage), Studded leather Armor (+3 defense) Stats: HP: 20, Attack: 18, Intelligence: 6, Wisdom: 6, Constitution: 16, Dexterity: 9 Current Heroes: Black Skull (Half-Orc): Level 1, 20/20 HP, 0/0 MP (Last edited by Thor on 08-15-07 03:06 AM) |
