I think as long as members give a decent title to their threads we wouldn't need the descriptions for them. You can pretty much tell what it'll be with a just a few words. The rest you'll find out inside.

I'll go ahead and sticky this thread for now. But something like this should be added to the FAQ's.

My relaxing music is "digital ambience" as I like to call it, or just ambient. If you want to know exactly what I listen to click the banner at the top of my layout and choose "English".(or if you can read Italian...). You'll find plenty of CDs with music belonging to certain themes. My favorite so far is Soundscapes 01: Ambience.

Not to go off topic here, but what do you mean by "urinating on somebody" and "coming out of the closet"? Yeah, you could say I've been under a rock for a long time lately.

You are bidding on a mistake.

We all make mistakes. We date the wrong people for too long. We chew gum with our mouths open. We say inappropriate things in front of grandma.

And we buy leather pants

That's good. I think you already made a thread about this somewhere else, Zabuza.

I've seen this, or something like this not too long ago. I think it was in my Popular Science magazine of this month. I was reading about OLEDs and the keyboard was one of the big examples. Nice article, Filtered.

You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren't much of an outcast.

There we have it people. However, had they said something about constantly coming up with ideas for something I most likely would have scored higher in the nerd department.

I'm willing to do more than foot massages, just so you know. The bright side of her working at the bar (Uptown this time) is that I've come in to visit her every day so far. I think to myself that I'll leave after a couple hours, but I always end up staying there for much longer. I believe she enjoys my company and that makes me happy. I have to distance my self from her at times. One of the things about bartending is that you want a lot of tips from people who come in, not that she's been getting a whole lot in the first place, and guys like to know that a cute bartender is "single". That causes them to tip her more so he'll raise his chances of her coming home with him that night. If they know Sarah is engaged to me (espcially when I'm there) then the tips don't come, at least not a lot. So I try not to make things suspicious by acting like I'm a bit anti-social. If the people Sarah serves didn't give a rat's ass that she's with somebody or not and tips were just chump change to her I'd probably go behind the bar, embrace her body with my arms and indulge in long, passionate kisses just because we could. (Mmmmmm)

I do worry about her feet though. I don't know what'll happen if they keep getting swollen night after night. It isn't good, and I keep telling her to get a stool or something beind the bar so she can sit down and rest when there's nothing going on. 12 hours is more than what somebody should constantly be on their feet for. It's a bit concerning to say the least. Anyway, hopefully she can get transferred back over to Dimensions to work less hours and mke better tips. $200 that girl made that one night. I can't tell you how good Sarah would feel if she made that much.

Posted on 11-13-05 06:49 PM, in Why gay marriage is wrong. Link
It's times like these when you have to ask:

Would being gay seem so wrong to others if religion weren't around?
What factor made religion oppose homosexuality?
Why is is that just about every known religion, if not all, is against homosexualilty?
I think about those questions sometimes when I see/hear discussions about "gay" people. What makes it wrong? What makes it okay?

Noetheless, as Rogue said before, that list was just showing something, it wasn't meant for a debate to start. Let's try to keep thise to comments about that. It wasn't just Geogree who was going off topic, it was everybody.

Large post here:

This is where I live: Eagan, MN.

Here is the Mall of America.

This is how close I live to the Mall of America. As you can see, I'm not that far from it. About 15 minutes.

Here is how far the MSP Airport is from the Mall. About 1.5 miles Little factoid: The Mall of America, along with Disneyland in Florida, was one of the targets during the 9/11 attacks. I'd say it would have been a pretty fast attack, and highly unstoppable, had a plane from there been used considering how close the two are.

I can't remember when mine fell out because there was one always going once every few months for a few years. Somewhere along that timeline they disappeared.

When and why did they considermaking a story like that into a game? A fighting game at that. Weird. Cool, don't get me wrong, but weird. What's next, "Lord of the Flies: Fellowship of the Fly"?

Posted on 11-16-05 07:31 PM, in Would you put your brain in a robot body? Link
I don't know if I would. It seems so great and all, but I think I'd miss being in an organic body. Unless you bond with other robots in some similar fashion as humans it may actuall y suck. I'd prefer to use my brain for other things for the time being.

Shouldn't this be a poll thread? Interesting topic by the way.

Same stuff here. I got engaged to The Magical Being a few weeks ago, but just about everybody should know that by now. Still doing the Army thing here at Ft. McCoy, but I have off the next two days and have to work at our office for following two days, followed by a 4-day Thanksgiving weekend.

Trying to brainstorm ideas in a notebook for a 2nd-person story with my fiance. The only thing we could come up with was a practical joke by her entailng me looking at something she wrote, which was, "I know you're going to look at this."

Just living for now.
