Here's the thing, Avatar: It's a technical school. A private institution. I know it's $20 to take an English composition class at the community college. What you -don't- know is where I live, and the people around.  I need to get out of this damn desert.

| Wow, you guys have really cool classes at your high schools. My senior year I took ceramics, photography, color guard, English, Trig and government/economics.
I'm excited for college!! It's FINALLY here. I'm going to photography school (I've decided). |

there aren't any dorms at the school I'm going to. They go through a housing company, and with what they're charging ($650 for a shared room) for an apartment, it'd be cheaper to get my own with a couple friends.  |

| My mom threatened me with all that stuff as well. My advice if you want to be risky and call Katana- Buy a calling card and use your home phone. Your mom won't know. I know, I've done it. Not with Katana, but with people I met online. I've even hung out with someone that I met over the interenet and she never knew about it. No worries. I've been in the same position as you before, and it's just angering. Go out an rebel! =D |

| A female can definately be dominant if the guy she is with is submissive. I seem to find more submissive guys than dominant guys.... and it's sad. If my partner is more submissive than I am, I probably don't want to date them.
Being dominant or submissive has more to do with personality than role playing. Some people have submissive personalities and others have dominant personalities. I'm one of the people who look down upon people who switch roles aand such... it feels wrong to me =/ |

| I've chosen to be single, and am happy with that decision. However much I may talk about a guy, I still want to be single. Having a boyfriend or a girlfriend is just too distracting from my studies in college. Certain things come first, and education is one of them. As sad as that may be, I look at guys, even if they are good looking, and I'm like "Why do I need a boyfriend?" To feel accepted and loved? Do you not feel accepted and loved by your friends? One of your guy friends won't give you a hug, or hold you while you cry? I held my best friend last week for 30 minutes while she cried. It was nice holding her, even if she was just a friend. I don't need a lover. I don't need to have sex or someone to say "I love you" to. Friends work just as well as a boyfriend or girlfriend. I told more to my friends than I ever did any of my boyfriends. I just felt more comfortable talking with them than any of them. Call it a trust issue or whatever, I don't care. But that is how it is. | |||

| Well, I never said the pledge in high school unless the teacher noticed I didn't say it. I stood up, in respect for the original founders of the country, but not out of respect for the leaders of it now.
There were two reasons. One, I didn't believe in the god it implied to. Second, why does any one need to pledge their allegiance to a red, white, blue, striped and starred flag? a piece of material? It boggles my mind... |

| I reccomend books more than I reccomend websites, just because information seems to be more valid that way. Books I would suggest reading dep ends on path you wish to take. There are many traditions, whether it be Fairy, Dragon, etc. I found that I am into a Nocturnal, Celtic Dragon path. If you're into the nocturnal magick, read books by Konstantinos. He's got a beginner's book, Nocturnal Witchcraft and the sequel to it, Gothic Grimoire. Both are excellant books, I own them both.
As for the Book of Shadows, each witch has their own BoS. It is basically an accumulative written book, written in a journal or something similar, of spells, meditations, information on herbs, myths, dreams, or anything else you feel should go into it. As for finding others ways of learning, I found several very experienced people whom were kind enough to teach me anything I did not know, if it didn't endager them or anything.
