| I'm not too particular about my books, so long as you can still read the text. I can't stand it, however, when the corners of the pages are dogeared.
One time a friend loaned me a manga... and I put it in my bag, where it got squashed underneath a textbook... I felt so horrible about giving it back, I offered to pay for it to be replaced, and was nearly in tears... but he was kinda like... eh? (Last edited by Belial on 06-29-06 10:49 PM) |

| How do your battery cables look? (the cables that hook onto the battery ~_^) If they're all crusty, get some baking soda and some water and dip the cables in it. Crusty cables = bad connections.
If it's not that, try getting a new battery before getting a new alternator. It's cheaper... Glad you have good friends there to help you out.. if it weren't for my fiance, I'd never get my car problems situated... O.o |

| You know what, the same thing happened to me and my fiance about a month ago. All the power would die, the lights wouldn't work, the horn wouldn't honk.. etc, and Bobby thought it was the battery. We jiggled some electrical cords and the Suburban started up perfectly. It was strange, annd he said it had only happened to him once or twice. | |||

| I don't even get to celebrate, really ,and it made me really angry at my work for their scheduling.... I worked until 7:30 this evening, then I have to be at work at 5:30 am tomorrow morning.
This is supposed to be one of those holidays where you have a beer and barbecue ribs or something.... and I can't even really do that. Because I like my sleep... >.> |

I lost my dad when I was sixteen. He was only 44 years old. It didn't register to me until Christmas time, a month later. I broke down in the house all alone and cried for hours. I always think he's going to call and ask, "Hey, Ace, how's everything going?" And I can hear those words in my head, remembering his voice... But he won't. Anyway, Katana, it isn't something you get over. You will never get over it. It's a part of you, that will help you be strong and be a part of who you are. |

That's nothin' guys. Last Saturday it was 122 degrees. The Friday before was 119 degrees. It was 108 degrees today with 45% humidity. |

| I work at Starbucks... get paid $7.50 an hour plus another $2 average an hour in tips in the summer time, over $3 an hour in tips in winter time... and I get 30% discount at my store on everything

| I'm just taking general ed classes at the local college here in town...
English 1A- basically tested into the highest English the school offers, other than 1B. Intermediate Algebra The Earth Sciences A full 12 hours a week, on top of two jobs, a wedding to plan and remodeling the house, among other things...I don't know if I'll be around this fall much  (Last edited by Belial on 08-16-06 12:02 AM) |

| I have a Mac. I prefer a Mac. There are ways of getting around the second button, like holding the "ctrl" (control) button down and clicking. Mac is simple, it's common sense, and sleek, you CAN find games for it, I bought my Mac over a year ago and it hasn't crashed, and runs exactly the same as when I bought it. | |||

| My best friend from my childhood was murdered this past weekend. She was my first best friend, and was throughout elementary school. We talked on and off after middle school and high school... but she's dead. she was murdered. along with her mom and her mom's boyfriend. I don't understand why anyone would or could do this. They weren't bad people... I don't understand. I'm furious, enraged, distraught, unable to really think... I left class early because I just couldn't focus. The newspaper showed pictures of the burnt down house.. I remember playing hide and go seek and spending the night there so many times... My Heart is on the Ground.
