i wouldnt be surprised if another person dies...

i mean, in all 4 years in HS, at least 2 ppl died each year. let's see if i can recall'em all....

a teacher died from that however you spell it, sickle-cell amenia.
another teacher died from a mixture of old age and other stuff
a 10th grader died while doing his mile run
a senior blew his brains out because he didnt want his parents to know he was on drugs
a girl was ran over by a drunk driver
and i dont recall what the other ppl died of.

edit: oh yeah... a kinda good friend of mine was shot up at some sorta wedding at a park. gang related. it was only a couple days into our senior year too

i like it when ppl are trying to spell "lose" but they spell it "loose" and i've seen it done dozens of times from different ppl XD

so they're all, yeah, he's/she's a looser.... and im all, no you're the loser, cause you cant even spell it -.-'

and i dunno if you did this on purpose, but "You all are spared my wrath," is also an error... it's you all are spared from my wrath =/

i'd have'ta say that if anyone really wants to be involved in this debate, they'd either have an education equivalent to the first grade, or at least maturity of an adult.

with that being said.... i dont seriously see what polygamy has anything to do with this. i mean, if gays were allowed to get married, to what effect would it have on multiple marriage? straight ppl get married all the time. it's not as if homosexualism has anything to do with being more sexual or wanting more partners than a straight person. any debate in gay marriage and polygamy should be avoided.

now back to what rogue said... yeah, if we do allow gay marriage, it might actually open up a can of worms. gay marriage is sort of the final frontier for conservatives. so yeah, if it's legalized, there's going to be those who will want to marry their pets or what have you. it shouldnt be used as a valid point against gay marriage, but it is a concern.

now all opinions aside... let's get back to reality. supposibly the church is the thing that grants marriages, ie that guy who says you may kiss the bride/groom. now, there's also judges and the likes who can preform marriages. if gays were alllowed to get married... obviously, they wouldnt/couldnt get married in a church. they'd have to go to a judge and what have you. our courts today are already swamped. if we add more work load to our judges, the system will suffer. in order to balance this, we'd have to invent something else other than a judge. also, divorced rates are high as it is, adding more eligible citizens will not only add fuel, but may perhaps destroy the entire justice system. seriously, it wouldnt destroy it, but you have to admit, our courts are filled as it is. it's sad that this could be a reason, but again, it's not a very strong, or legal excuse to not allow other ppl to get married.

anyways, then there's the other side, like on 'drawn together,' fake gay marriages so you'd get a tax break with your buddy. yeah...

anyways, i'm not trying to say nuffin, i'm just adding another twist to this debate.

last i heard, i thought we were talking about america. and if you want to use "facts" you'd at least have to show me a link or article about this supposed event, otherwise it doesnt mean anything. and again, that's canada, a majority vote is how our system works down here.

on an off topic comment, i always wondered why most gay ppl are feminine, or opposite of what their real gender is.

anyways... as someone pointed out about heaven... why would the devout care so much about what others are doing? i mean, supposibly those types of ppl wont get into heaven regardless, so why bother trying to do something about them? just worry about yourself, and go to your stupid heaven. but nooooo, they wanna "save" the entire world by changing it to their own morals and views. blah....

but you know... with the recent judges retiring, and whatnot... i can see a world of change happening in the coming decades.

anyways, back on topic... no one's addressing what i said eariler about how if it's legalized, it'll cripple our justice system. i know it's not for legal grounds of why it shouldnt be legalized, but it is a concern...

wow... someone's looking for a fight... but you know, you are right about everything, however...

to defend myself, i'll also use your logic. i too am sure you dont know most of the gay population to say that "most" would not be the applicable word; i would however retract that word if you do indeed know most of the gay population and could prove me otherwise. until then, i think "most" should surfice as the applicable word.

and to address everything else, yeah, there are no true characteristic of a woman, but however, i AM using the word within the correct use of our american lexicon. i mean, why wouldnt i be talking about america? this is a discussion about america's problem, is it not? i mean, damn, it doesnt matter what a word means if the lexicon is something else. if one day i decided to say "die" as a greeting, and somehow convince 30 million people in california to say "die" as a greeting, die's meaning would change and it would mean hello instead in california. so yeah, no one decides what femine means, but the lexicon and usage of it decides everything. as much as i hate coffee, i'd prefer to drink it ice cold... so please, don't assume i'm ignorant.

post your ideas for a new tv show, or channel!

anyways... nowadays there's so many channels to choose from. i mean, damn, there's a food channel, cartoon channel, religion channel, sports, you name it they have it... except something that i personally like... cancled tv shows channel.

you ever watch a show that you kinda like, or really did like, but then it got canned? i propose someone should make a cancled tv show channel. i mean, how hard is it to aquire shows that are cancled? it costs a shitload to play reruns of seinfeld, friends, everybody love raymond.... but man... getting to pay for canned shows should be cheap like crap.

they could show the shows, and do like true hollywood stories on each show about why it got canned, and where the actors are and whatnot... i'd love to watch that channel... there's so many cancled shows i'd like to see, or hear about why it's gone, because frankly, the executives dont really tell you, do they? they just trash it and it's all, oh well... let's not tell the fans. -.-'

you know, geeogree doesnt get it.... YOU DONT GET IT! why are you bringing up a topic about what if someone doesnt want to marry you? that has nothing to do with anything remotely with what we're talking about.

we're talking about two homos who are in love, and WANTS TO GET MARRIED!

evo earlier explained it perfectly...

"i deeply love my fiance. I would get married in a heartbeat if I could have an insta-perrfect wedding. But if someone told me that I couldn't get married, it wouldn't be recognized as a legal bond, I'd be fucking pissed.
People get married all the time for other things, religion, money, whatever. But NO ONE should have any of their rights taken away because of any one difference from any other human being."

yet you go and twist it saying how it's not a right because you cant force someone to marry you. we're not talking about force. we're talking about two adults who consents and wants to get married.

and yeah, even if only 1% of the world are homosexuals, that's still at least 50 MILLION PEOPLE. that's like 1 in 4 person in the united states. but it's not just 1%, it's more than that. you cant look at it in a fraction or percentage, you must look at it in real numbers. even if our entire world's population is 5 or 6 billion people, 1 million is still a lot, heck 100,000 people are still a lot. it may not be a lot if you compare it as a whole, but it's still a lot. i doubt you'll ever even know 100,000 people in your entire life.

as with anything, i dont care what ppl do in their private lives, but when they're forcing it on others, that's another matter. ie: secret santas for work/school/or whatever. i mean wtf's that about? if you want to do that, do it with your personal friends or family members, dont make everyone at work or class do it too -.-'

then there's the whole "secret meaning" of christmas, ie, the birth of someone -.-' and commercializing it into a jolly guy who gives presents so you can celebrate that holiday, just like the easter bunny...

all i know is that i'm tired of how ppl are being extra nice just because it's that season again. it's so fake!

i'm sorry of you're jewish, but celebrating how a drum of oils lasted seven days instead of one to compete with the birth of a messiah is ridiculous. this whole month is ridiculous.

though i was not talking about christians, i guess i shall now...

yes... christmas doesnt sound like some burden i have to bear, IT IS a burden i have to bear. it's just like second hand smoking, actually, it's even worst. everywhere you go they're all, it's christmas, be happy. tis the season to be jolly. blah blah blah... it doesnt even matter what they say, the point is what they're saying has a dirty secret message, 'help us celebrate our lord's birth,' or 'haha, you're celebrating our lord's birth and you dont even know it, loser.'

and yes, public schools do sing songs about it. take the twelve days of christmas:

"The popular song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is usually seen as simply a nonsense song for children. However, some have suggested that it is a song of Christian instruction dating to the 16th century religious wars in England, with hidden references to the basic teachings of the Faith. They contend that it was a mnemonic device to teach the catechism to youngsters. The "true love" mentioned in the song is not an earthly suitor, but refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every baptized person who is part of the Christian Faith. Each of the "days" represents some aspect of the Christian Faith that was important for children to learn."

The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings

Two Turtle Doves represents The Old and New Testaments, which together bear witness to God's self-revelation in history and the creation of a people to tell the Story of God to the world.

being a republic or demo has nothing to do with being a conservative or liberal =/ i think a few of us are straying away from these words, ie Kaijin Surohm too.

just because you're a conservative doesnt mean you have to be a republician. republicians generally believe that the goverment should be smaller and let the states deal with their own affair, whereas demos are the opposite. conservatives and liberals deals with morality and things like that... take the prison system, conserves want to lock'em away and throw away the key, whereas libs believe in rehabilitation. blah blah blah... so yeah =/

even the original post in the poll is wrong by adding in green and independant, because those are political parties, not views.
