| The most menacing grin grew on Sparda's face as he simply took a step back with his left leg so that his right side was now facing his opponent. As Xeios' body became enveloped in energy, nothing seemed to happen with Sparda. In fact, all he did was stand there very still, with that grin on his face. He either wasn't very interested in attacking first or was beginning to plan his moves. Whatever he was doing, he seemed extremely relaxed about it. His left hand twitched only once before he spoke.
"I have already made my move." |

| Sparda suddenly froze, being sure to stop in the shadows and immediately took cover. He quickly eased his breathing and relaxed his muscles as he leaned against the tree for a few moments waiting. Was it just his imagination? No...he leaned over and peered around the trunk of the tree to see three patrol guards...Ulgathian.
They weren't as well armed as the knights before...but they would have to be disposed of quickly. One false move and the guards would be able to notify the entire army of their location with just a single ring of a great and giant bell, which stood quite close to the group. He wouldn't be able to use his sword...he had lost it during the battle before. He looked back to see the rest of the group catching up to him. "...I must act fast..." He sighed and stood there for a moment before suddenly dashing from his cover and right into the three guards. They were caught completely by surprise for Sparda's movements were as quick as they were silent. Immediately, he knocked one of the guards down, knocking the other two as well. As if it were a reflex, Sparda grabbed the sword of the guard and drew it. The blade against the sheath made a soft ringing noise. Now armed, Sparda immediately plunged the broadsword into the neck of the guard he knocked down and then, withdrew it, before slashing forward at the second guard, dealing a fatal blow to his head. However, his movements were not fast enough as the third guard got up and began running to ring the bell. |

| Sparda froze as his grip on the soldier's broadsword seemed to grow tighter and tighter. He dark brown eyes seemed to widen a bit. This was truly the first time he had shown any signs of fear in the presence of the group. He got back onto his feet and slowly turned around, facing the direction in which the 'noise' was coming from. Whatever it was, it was now close enough for them to hear its stomping, without enhanced hearing.
It was too dark to tell what it was. Without a second thought, he quickly extinguished the camp fire next to the bell, causing all to be dark again. "...we cannot afford to fight it...hide!" There was tension in his voice as he silently took cover behind one of the trees. A roar suddenly sounded through the air, as the earth began to shake, the stomping growing louder and louder. "I don't think even Leonis is capable of unleashing this thing..." |

| Azrael wiped her blood off and stepped through the doors that drank the blood of the human. He was not very impressed at what stood before him. In fact, he was very wary of his surroundings, something was making him extremely uncomfortable. He kept one of his long swords drawn as he stepped forth, guided by the torches that slightly lit the pathways.
The shadows that were created from the flames, danced upon the walls in an eerie fashion. This alone was already a sight disturbing enough to deter normal men from their paths. Nevertheless, he continued forth, being sure to walk as silently as he could. |

Shuyin Vulkar ~~~ Weapons: Shuyin has been armed with the Mace. Vulkar has been armed with the 2 Bladed Tonfas ~~~ Weapon Analysis: 2 Bladed Tonfas he tonfa, also known as tong fa or tuifa, is an Okinawan martial arts weapon from which the modern side-handled police baton is derived. Folklore says these were originally used as wooden handles that fit into the side of millstones, or as horse bridles, and were later developed into weapons when peasants were banned from using more traditional weaponry.The tonfa traditionally consists of two parts, a handle with a knob, and perpendicular to the handle, a shaft or board that lies along the hand and forearm. Unique to this tournament, the the shaft that lies along the hand and forearm is a single, sharp, steel blade, which slightly extends longer than the wooden shaft itself. Moderately light, the bladed tonfa can be used both offensively and defensively, especially with the addition of the blades. However, in order for the weapon to be used effectively, it requires the user to be up close to his/her opponent. Length of shaft: 25 inches Length of blade: 26 inches Mace An advance on the club, a mace is a wooden, metal-reinforced, or metal shaft, with a head made of steel. The head is normally about or slightly thicker than the diameter of the shaft, shaped with flanges, knobs or spikes to allow greater penetration of armour. While heavier than a regular long sword, it is extremely effective in close range combat, especially against armored foes. A well aimed blow can shatter the bones of an opponent and even crush bronze and iron. Being a two-handed mace, the pole of the 'club' is somewhat longer than unusual. This modification allows for more powerful strikes and swings but also interferes with the ability of the user to react quickly due to the obvious difference in weight. Proper use of this weapon requires an adequate amount of knowledge concerning weapon physics. Length of Weapon: 4 feet Note: Understand that the Mace you are wielding does not possess spikes. It is a common misconception among people. The Mace and the Flail are two different weapons. | I was looking into other types of guitars and suddenly, another question came up in my mind.
What is the difference between a Gibson Les Paul and an Epiphone Les Paul? Many of the Ephiphone Les Pauls are much cheaper than the GIbson Les Paul so I'm assuming that the quality of the Gibsons may be somewhat better. But is that all the difference there is? |

| I recently came across the rondomusic website and found another brand called Agile. I looked up some reviews for the Agile Les Pauls and from what I've read, they are quite good. Some say they are better than Epiphone.
So perhaps someone could give me some more info on the Agile Les Pauls? |

| Sparda leaned against the tree, feeling as of though the beating of his heart would give away his position and endanger them all. He wanted to lean over and get a better view of the creature, but he dared not lest he was willing to make some noise. This was certainly something that caught him by surprise.
"It's impossible for Ulgath to harness such power without getting some help..." Seconds seemed like hours as the earth trembled with each might stomp of the beast. Ever so slowly, the trembling died down as the beast slowly continued out of sight, into the darkness. Despite this, he stayed in his position for a few moments, in case it was some kind of trick. |

| Sparda merely stood there, watching, as his right hand slowly reached for the thick handle of his great sword. He grasped the handle and unsheathed the weapon, his eyes never leaving the machine. He couldn't help but think how pointless his opponent's actions were. After all, what was the point of shooting out flames if the flames weren't even directed at him?
He took a small step back with his right leg so that his left side now faced his spinning opponent. The shockwave launched him was pathetic. In fact, it was so pathetic that he barely even felt it when it made contact with him. His eyes seemed to give off an eerie glow as his opponent seemed to be allowing him all the time he wanted to bide his energy. Sparda watched as the flames extended to a height of about sixty feet before it finally ceased. "...I doubt this machine is very smart..." |

| Maybe it's just me but I think the only reason the Spidey suit looks dark is because of the background. In my opinion, the dark Spiderman suit effect in the image is simply a result of excessive shadows and such, to perhaps symbolize a darker plot this time around, rather than contact with the alien symbiote. | |||
